The recommendation for dinner at My Thai was also an excellent suggestion. We have no complaints for our booking
Alyson and Charles (7/5): Comfortable studio cabin - Bathroom well renovated; kitchenette surprisingly well equipped for such a small space; bed quite comfortable. Proper table and chairs. Outside area would be pleasant on a nice day, and is very private. Kitchenette needs renovating, and fridge replacing (rusty door not a good look). Microwave needs a shelf, rather than being on top of a tall fridge.

Wir machen in Neuseeland eine Rundreise und standen etwas ratlos da, nach der sehr kurzfristigen Absage.

CLINTON (7/5): - All light switch's were at the front door,bathroom,kitchen area and lounge area so had to walk to front door to turn on and off lights before and after bed,there were 2 light switches at the other end over the bed thought Airconditioner needs servicing, took hours to cool it down even though we set it on 16 degrees.

I highly recommend Tairua shores motel, It had everything we needed, the beds were really comfy, and the staff were amazing. We had one minor issue with something in one of the rooms and it was sorted straight away.

Near shops for supplies. Lovely walk by the shoreline. Hosts kept quiet presence in background but giving super service for our requirements. Thankyou. Would have liked a microwave dish with lid to cook our potatoes instead of using table top hob ( not a major issue though).

Szonja (9/5): Here, you have everything for even a longer stay - This is a very nice newly updated motel with clean rooms and comfy bathroom. There’s also a good kitchen, so basically you have everything for even a longer stay. They offer separate towel for the beach and shovel to dig your own hot pool in the sandy beach. I think this is very thoughtful, and the staff was also very friendly and helpful. The location is great, 1min from the marina. The main door of our room was off and we noticed it late, so we managed to secure it in our way but it’s something that need to be fixed. Other than that, the place was perfect!

Cute little garden with a table and 2 chairs to eat outside. I enjoyed the storage room in the bathroom. There's a free washing machine for the guests. Big triangular window facing East (no blinds or curtains possible, as it is high up on the wall, just above the ceiling). We were awakened by the daylight and sun evwry day, very early in the morning. We would have appreciated more storage room for clothes.
