Kelly (7/5): Convenient location and dog friendly. - Conveniently located and pet friendly. Excellent grassed area at the rear of the property. Set well back off the road. Bed was comfy and heating good. Bathroom had strong septic smell which was unfortunate. My dog was very interested in smelling one area of the carpet making me question the depth of cleaning. Also $40 a night for my dog to sleep on his own rug was one of the more expensive fees I have paid.

At about 11.30pm some travellers arrived and were very disruptive, noisy and loud speaking. Slamming their van sliding door very loudly, a number of times. Think it could have been a tradie van as it had pipes on the roof. This continued til 12.30am. We understand travellers can arrive anytime, but it was very inconsiderate of them for the other travellers sleeping!! They were in room 7 right next door to us. They could have been tradies as they departed around 6.30am.

Alexandra (4/5): It was fine - It was clean There weren’t any mosquito nets on the windows and we were struggling from small flies during evenings and nights. Flies were coming from the door and were everywhere in the apartment. Also the bathroom tap and shower was heavily licking which caused the wet floor and impossibility of using the space around sink.

Annette (10/5): For a very reasonably priced motel, this venue offered everything that we needed. We were hiding from bushfires with our - Very dog friendly with helpful staff. There is a large, cleared, but bushy area attached to the property to walk dogs. Air conditioner didn’t keep up with the heat.

N (1/5): !!!STAYing AWAY from this motel!!! - NA The Property Manager/Owner was rude, unprofessional, and engaged in threatening behavior. There was serious misconduct and a violation/breach of their own stated room allocation policies. Already complained to Booking.com and Booking.com assured me the justice. Please note that this Property owner (Advance Motel) has not been responding to calls or emails from Booking.com it seems and appears to be deliberately avoiding communication. He breached room allocation policies by pressuring me to book two rooms at a significantly higher cost, refusing to provide the advertised sofa-bed, and denying accommodation for an extra guest on the sofa-bed, even though I am explicitly entitled under motel policy to accommodate an additional guest for $30, having informed Advance Motel a day in advance. After I raised a complaint, the Property Manager/Advance Motel removed the “sofa-bed” feature from the Deluxe Twin Room description, seemingly to conceal his errors and misrepresentations. Additionally, he carried out unauthorized and fraudulent transactions (that too with extra surcharges without permission) on my credit card without consent or prior notice while we were still in the premises of the property. It's a shame that the Advance Motel is still trying to cover up their mistakes and forcing me to go for legal help!

Nichols (8/5): Great accommodation. - Lovely and clean. Bed was comfortable. Nice and quiet area. Pool was lovely. Separate room was good for kids. Central location close to town. No kitchenette area. Spa was cold.
MR DAMIAN (9/5): thank you for having us. will recommend to dog-friendly people! - We love the flexibility with check-in we didn't know a time we could get there and we knew we were a little bit late but there was no problem they have a good system for the keys. It's definitely dog friendly! We have two young kids who love dogs and met every dog that was there. Outstandingly dog-friendly rooms with all of the other creature comforts to tick the box. Definitely a place to stay while you visit your destination. Unfortunately the pool and spa didn't operate when I was there (and we had the coldest Christmas in living memory (um what happened to global warming?)) so the pool was kind of freezing but that's nobody's fault.

Ros (8/5): Convenient minor detour off the Hume Highway. - Great sized family room fitted us well. It would have fitted the grandparents if they had joined us (as intended). Comfortable beds with aircon and TV. The fridge literally froze our milk, fruit and veggies overnight! The view out our window was nice bushland but it a pile of junk spoiling the view. The barbecue area was so dilapidated that we didn’t even consider using the flooded rusty barbie under the torn shade sails.

Malcolm (7/5): Good motel spoilt by cramped room - The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly. The room was cramped. In the area at the rear of the room outside the bathroom isa lounge from which you cannot see the TV. There is a large low table in front of the lounge which is too low to eat off. There is only one chair. This lounge and table should be replaced with a small table and two chairs.
