The soundproofing is minimal so when the neighbouring room had their television on loudly it was very disruptive - sounded as though it was on the other side of the wall to our bed. We could hear the dialogue and music very clearly. Spoilt our otherwise very comfortable stay.

It was a very easy walk to places to eat, the Metung Hotel and the cafes. The staff were very helpful letting us know more about the area and local walks. There was not a thing about this place that we didn't like.
Sarah (7/5): Amazing location, basic accommodation. - Can’t ask for a better location in Metung. Right in the heart of the village and opposite the best cafe in town (a must do for breakfast omelettes and delicious cakes). We were lucky enough to get upgraded to a bigger apartment which was nice, so plenty of space. Apartment was very clean. Parking was easy. Washer and dryer in room which would be handy if staying longer. Bed was comfortable enough. The rating of 4 1/2 stars is a little misleading. Just stayed in 5 star accommodation a few weeks earlier, and this was not even close! 😆 Very dated and in need of a refurb. For $350 a night I did expect a bit more. Shower pressure isn’t great, kitchenette is basic, no coffee pod machine (nespresso sachets only), and couch looks like it’s been there since the 90’s. And the cushions adorning the couch and bed are the stuff of nightmares. I could forgive all that though, but the most annoying thing about our room was the draught coming through the front door. It was very chilly. Need to get a door seal around that. We were cold most of the night (and wasn’t even winter!) and only one extra blanket provided. That along with the thin walls (could hear neighbours conversations all night) made for an uncomfortable sleep unfortunately.

Fantastic pub next door which served lovely food and we could play a couple rounds of pool. There isn’t much going on near it, although this was no issue for us as we were there one night.

Very comfortable and a great location. The town facilities were very good including a fishing gear shop and the water was on both sides of the apartment. No comment as we were surprised how good everything was.

Excellent location to waterfront, cafes, bakery and Metung pub. Short drive to the Metung Hot Springs (highly recommended). Telstra phone range was 1 bar. The wifi was either super slow or not working at all but we didn’t realise this until after dinner on a Friday night and we didn’t want to disturb Management - we didn’t need it for business reasons. Perhaps it just needed resetting.
