Was disappointed that it was advertised but once we checked in I asked about the restaurant for dinner and was told no chef restaurant closed

- Oliver (9/5): Comfortable, private space to enjoy a nice weekend in Lithgow. - Spacious room with everything you would need, fridge, microwave, kettle and cups for coffee or tea. Reserved parking spot per room was right at the front door, which was very convenient, as for most things you would need to drive, seeing as the motel is a little ways out of town. Having the aircon as the only source of heat was a bit of a pain, as the nights were getting cold and the constant fan noise of the old air conidtioner was a little annoying. Adding in a different heating option or replacing the aging aircons would improve the situation. Also there were some cobwebs on the sealing and hair around the bathroom, which I understand can be hard to completely clean, so not a big deal.

Quiet - no noise heard from the highway which is close. It’s clean It’s getting a bit dated. We’ve stayed quite a few times previously but noticed the room seemed a bit ‘tired’. The shower nozzle was hard to adjust the water spray. The set up for tea and coffee is very awkward to navigate. No restaurant or room servicing (fresh towels etc) available on weekends.

Mildrew around shower frame and in tile grout, water pooled in shower, holes in bathroom wall from something being removed, a quick fill and paint is all it takes to freshen up. I would have liked there to be a toaster in the room to make breakfast for a child, we had to go to the restaurant to make the toast which was a bit cold by the time we got back to the room.
