So disappointing after four previous very pleasant experiences. - Location.cleanliness.Water pressure Despite the tiny uncomfortable showers, we have stayed at this motel 5x during the past five years. We made reservations through booking.com five months ahead of our stay. We requested two units at ground level as one of our party has a mobility issue. We were allocated two units – one on the ground floor and one on the top floor. There is no lift. rather than a re-allocationon the ground floor, we were allocated two on the top floor – and not together. Very poor. However the overriding factor was reception. Cold, uncommunicative, unfriendly and unsmiling. We were made to feel like intruders. I cannot recall a reception so dreadful. Sadly, Andy and Vicky, we are unlikely to return.

Robert (10/5): We will return to this home when we come back to Dunedin. - Room was great. Very good bed and bedding. Spacious room and luscious bathroom. Well equipped kitchen bench. Laundry available. Very helpful reception staff offered us a better located car park. The hotel was well located and we could easily walk to Octagonal restaurants and gallery and to many other places we wanted to visit. Our room was a little in the warm side at night. This was easily remedied by opening out door to our balcony. The room on the top floor may get more sun than other rooms.

We had to prop the door open to get some air. The property was very well kept but could do with a decor overhaul. Also when booking the property it said washing machine and dryer included.....it was $4 to wash &4 to dry in a laundry room! You should say pay to wash & dry!!
