- Jonathan (10/5): I felt loved, cared for and was treated like a human being rather than a financial bonus. - The room was very well laid out. With a brain injury, I didn't need to have the ceiling lights on but just use the lamp next to the bed. The location suited me greatly, i.e., nearby the University.

Our only complaint: the mattresses are too hard and the pillows are too thick and uncomfortable. The staff is very friendly – we'll definitely stay here again! - Michelle (6/5): Adequate stay - The location is excellent, very handy to all the amenities in Riccarton. The living/bed room itself was nice and clean, with a very handy kitchenette. Good tea and coffee options. We had everything we needed to prepare small meals. The towels were lovely fresh and clean. Unfortunately we probably won't stay again due to the cleanliness issues in the bathroom. The bathroom was in need of a deep clean. The toilet brush and holder was dirty. There was mould in the shower that I easily wiped off with a tissue. The sheets had light oil stains on them. The noise from the road is quite loud at night, if you are light sleeper I would not recommend.

- Raymond (9/5): Excellent well look after short distance to shops . - Room was excellent, we had our towels changed daily, the only thing we could say the bathroom needed upgrading it was very mildew but other then that the room was excellent. As above the bathroom needs upgrading it had a fair bit mildew but it was still good to use.
- Jacqueline (8/5): Two night trip to Chch - Motel was handy for wolfbrook stadium and Riccarton shops. The cooking facilities poor. Top stove only had two hot plates that took forever to get hot. With dietary restrictions eating out wasn't an option. Some food we brought was taken home as could not have been cooked successfully. While the unit was basically clean there were little things like mould in the corners of the bathroom windows that wouldn't have taken much effort to clean.

- Naima (7/5): Convenient location if your work involves going to UC - Location was very close to UC as well as many supermarkets and restaurants were nearby. The King Suite was good in size with enough power slots around the rooms which was pretty handy. All staffs were not fully aware about the details or specifications of all facilities in the compound. Some other guests in the property were very loud and disturbing which spoiled the mood a bit towards the end.

The shower tray appeared to have been ‘patched’ and those patches were mouldy and dirty. The drain looked like it had never been cleaned. There was thick green mould surrounding the shower base and dirt in the corners of the floors. Also the bathroom light was flickering. The kitchen cooktop needed cleaning. My daughter discovered a stain on her sheet after two nights of sleeping in the bed, which was definitely not made by us!

- Bernadette (7/5): Great place, good value for money. - The accommodation had great facilities and was great value for money. Beds were comfy, place spacious enough. Lovely place, probably could do with a good clean mainly the oven . Spa bath was great but did have mould stains in silicone, needs replacing. Was bit road noise, but too be expected on busy road.
- Nicki (2/5): Dirty and tired. - The office man was helpful and friendly. The bed was ok. Dirty. The whole room especially the bathroom needed a really good clean. Mould on the ceiling and in the cracks around the bath. The bath was dirty and so were all the walls surrounding it. It was a spa bath and the jets were coated in what appeared to be brown mould and the door was broken. There is a little kitchenette but I was too scared to use it. The mini oven was dirty and greasy. The blind was missing in the kitchen so anyone walking around the back would have full view inside the room and the blind in one of the rooms was broken. The furniture was dated and the couch had stains and crumbs in the cracks not mentioned the greasy cushions. The kitchen scrubber had what appeared to be short curly hairs on it so we had to ask for a new one. I paid $200 for a night here and left feeling ripped off.

- Matt (1/5): A onetime affair…….. not to be repeated - It was a handy location to Riccarton Mall. We were in unit 2, a 2 bedroom unit on the ground floor. It was very peaceful and quiet, with no road noise. This would be the worst room I’ve stayed in for cleanliness. We found trimmed toe nails on the lounge floor, long hair on the dishes in the cupboard, bundles of tangled hair in the bedding, mould in the bathroom on the ceiling and around the bath. The top of the kitchen cabinets likely haven’t been cleaned in a while. There was a fault with the fridge when we walked in and it was leaking water all over the floor. The front door remind me of a prison cell, opening outwards and with a piece of wood to use as a door jam to hold it open and only lockable externally. It simply resembled a motel that’s been vastly neglected and run into the ground unfortunately.

It was lovely to have the room serviced and cleaned daily. Excellent value for the price. Great location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed for Christmas and it was a great time. Nice and quiet too. We highly recommend staying at the Apollo Motel. N/A

- Hanna (8/5): Top Preis/Leistungsverhältnis - Der Inhaber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, spontane Verlängerung des Aufenthaltes war auch gar kein Problem. Tägliches Angebot an Zimmerservice. Und immer genug freie Parkplätze zu jeder Tages und Nachtzeit. Es gab für 2 Personen genug Geschirr, jedoch für dieses Zimmer bei max 4 Personen evtl zu knapp, aber ausreichend. Angebot von Tee, Kaffeepulver, Kakao und Zucker sowie Salz und Pfeffer wurde bei Bedarf nachgefüllt. Genügend Handtücher vorhanden. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut ebenso die gute Lage mit Busverbindung 1min vor der Haustür. Die Wände sind teilweise sehr dünn, man hört den Nachbarn und teilweise den manchmal vermehrten Straßenlärm. Eventuell Öffnungszeiten des Waschsalons anbringen, da wir dies nicht wussten und es schon zu spät (20Uhr) war unsere nasse Wäsche in den Trockner zu geben. Seifenspender in der Dusche war leer, dieser evtl nachfüllen, aber kein muss.
