Asked on the second day to have my room serviced, and that service consisted of emptying the bins and two soap bars. No fresh towels or bed made. No safety chain on the door. And the last day when leaving they entered the room without knocking. Also the room had a mild odour like cat pee.

We booked for 5 people, only for beds were provided. The staff did put another bed in our room but it we had to ask. It was dirty, pleanty if cockroaches and didn't feel nice at all. I would recommend staying elsewhere.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable - we booked for a 3-night stay, Leigh the owner was very pleasant, found time to chat and helped with our bags to our upstairs room. Room was large and comfortable, unfortunately not soundproof. Bed was comfortable had a good night sleep.

- Elisa (6/5): - As a family we’ve stayed at this property many times. It appeared rooms had a bit of a refesh, walls painted and some new bits and bobs. Unfortunately the refresh in the bathroom was a bit hit and Miss, It looked like the tiles in the bathroom had been painted to give a fresh look, unfortunately in the shower the paint has peeled off large sections of the tiles, and the ledge of the window, which is directly in the shower cubicle hadn’t been cleaned for a while, and had bits of soap stuck to the ledge. The fridge in the room still had a previous guests leftover food in the freezer section. And the lights above the single beds did not work.

We wished we knew as we also have asthmatics in the family and young kids exposed. The price paid didnt match service or conditons.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The accommodation wasn’t too bad. There was a sign in the bathroom about the tiles may be slippery when wet, I assumed the tiles out of the shower. I was wrong. As soon as the water hit the floor in the shower I slipped over hitting my back on the hand rail, once I had landed on my butt my head went from the left to smash into the wall on my right with the loudest bang ever. I was out for a couple of seconds. I though my head was going to be smashed open, but thank god it wasn’t. Do not let this deter you from staying here, just be careful in the shower.

We have slept in King beds all over the world. I was born in 1943.So I know what I am talking about. The staff were very helpful.

Quiet spot to stay which is fantastic. Minutes walk to have a Coles bbq chicken / picnic dinner by the river which is nice and relaxing.

- Gail (4/5): - Wotif I’m A DISGRUNTLED AND DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER. We arrived at this Motel just on dark to find I had booked a ‘STANDARD’ room which is UPSTAIRS. NOT HAPPY. ESPECIALLY WHEN I REQUESTED TO BE DOWNSTAIRS. I booked early JUNE so would have thought out of courtesy I would have been notified the room would be UPSTAIRS. Due to arthritic condition i found the stairs a painful excerise. Reception did look for a ground floor room but to no avail. Had I been notified ahead of time I would have upgraded just so I could have a ground floor room. BELIEVE IN FUTURE I WILL STAY WITH BOOKING.COM because I’m far from happy. Need to ask had I put in my request that I was in a wheelchair would Wotif/Motel have notified me of the upstairs room ?????

- Frances (10/5): Went to extra trouble to accommodate our needs - We were travelling for work and requested a car space outside our room, and they went and bought cones to ensure we had the right car space. (especially for us) Then, as a vegetarian with dietary needs, in their restaurant they happily made me my request of veges... which were very fresh and lovely. We were happy with our stay and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Thank you so much for making our business trip easy.

- Peter (6/5): Hotel just to put your head on a pillow - Ian on reception duties like many in the hospitality & service industry doesn't have the art of "meet and greet" off pat. I had to introduce myself and ask for his name. Rooms are basic and comfortable to match the price point. Minus- Dead cockroach greets us at the mini fridge door. Bathroom tiles hadn't been wiped in some time. Hence a build up of grime. Dust collected on top of tiles at shoulder and floor height. Plenty of dead bugs gathered together in the bathroom light fitting. Pluses - edge of residential area of town, reasonable distance away from passing highway traffic noise and local hotel next door. Minor (cosmetic) refurbishment to room in past two -three years. Adequate serving size for their in house cooked breakfasts.

- suzie (6/5): Won't stay there again to be honest. - Room itself good, but all the little things were missing. I booked a month ahead and requested that at least one of our two rooms be downstairs (mum recovering from a fall, and my toddler in tow). Checked in on time, but nope we were upstairs right at the end. Room was average but no shampoo or conditioner provided (great on a long weekend when nothing is open). There is a toaster but if you want to use it you better go buy a butter knife and a plate as you won't find a saucer even. I unrolled the blind to find a lovely dead and decaying gecko in the blind which my hubby got rid of. And don't hang a towel on the towel rack or the whole thing comes off the wall. The room itself was in good condition, and the noise from the street etc not too bad really. However Ill risk another place for a shot of 15c shampoo for the same price room.

- Ruta (8/5): Family catch up - Great hotel for an overnight stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Plenty of room in a family room for four. Bed mattress a little soft but great facilities. Nice little pool for the kids to swim. Would stay again. Local to everything in the town.
