Rawlings on the move (9/5): Great two night stay - We were at the back of the property away from the road noise. Check in was very pleasant with encouraging note cards and pens, chocolates in reception, and free water and coke in the room. Bed was just a little hard, but for me, better than too soft. Nice size shower. Basic breakfast was enough for us. There were seats available but not very comfortable for watching TV.

I paid the price for a breakfast included stay. The breakfast spread was solely cereal and bread. What’s worse, there were rules and instructions about how much one is allowed to eat! These rules were all over the breakfast area making it truly restrictive and insulting.

Reid (1/5): I wish I had requested a room move prior to the office closing. - I had 2 rooms booked. Room 11 was fine, no complaints about the bathroom there. Room 12 a very different experience. The bathroom in room 12 has a drain problem. The smell coming from those drains are so bad they could possibly be toxic! I covered each drain with towels trying to reduce the smell and stop it coming into the bedroom and even put the plug in the hand basin but overall it made for a very uncomfortable night.

Garrett (7/5): - Staff were lovely and friendly. The room feels recently remodeled and was fairly spacious. It was very quiet and seemed to be one of the better accommodation options in the area. The location is just far enough out of town where walking is not recommended into Coonabarabran. The hot water balance in the shower was hard to achieve.

Jamie (6/5): Better shower pressure would be great room 4 - Worst shower pressure if ever experienced. Stayed in other rooms not an issue travel through frequently. First time in room 4.
trigg (1/5): Save your money and stay somewhere else - Nothing , the room was disgusting it smelt damp and mouldy . The bed was likes sleeping on concrete and in all honesty I think the floor would have been more comfortable. The room was cold and had no extra blankets or pillows . We left at 6.30am without taking advantage of the included breakfast because we could not wait to get out if there . The room dirty and damp and musty smell . Cold heater hardly worked . Bed hard and barely a double .

Mark (8/5): Very nice, very friendly and helpful staff - We chose a large room which was very comfortable and clean. The team at the front office were super helpful, as we had to unexpectedly change our booking once we had arrived and they went out of their way to help us. We would definitely stay here again. There is some road noise from the trucks on the highway, though this will affect every accommodation on the road

Neil (3/5): Very disappointed with a “boutique” hotel - No glasses in the room when it’s described as a boutique hotel. A sign stickytaped to the wall saying they would see what they could do if we wanted glasses. No side table besides both sides of the bed
Tanya (5/5): Unfortunately due to no fridge I won’t be going back. - It was very clean and comfortable, the staff were nice and the location was great. The so called fridge was only a very small wine fridge. It did not keep anything cold in fact they were touching on warm, it was extremely small and no freezer. As we had a 20mth old child with us this was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately based on this I wouldn’t go there again as a fridge is a necessity.
luke (8/5): - Comfy, clean and modern. Cold air con Grumpy owner yelled at our kids for jumping in the pool. I realise that they were breaking the rules but the lady could have spoken to them less aggressively, given that they are kids.. Other staff were really friendly.

jarrod (8/5): Good , would I book again, well maybe as it was value for money - Great value for money and was good and clean. Breakfast was include as well as the complimentary brinks in fridge. Bet Staff awareness needs to be better . At breakfast , lady in kitchen was blasting here radio while ourselves and other guests were trying to eat breakfast , very unprofessional .

Alan (10/5): Spacious and interesting place to stay - Someone actually thought about how to decorate a room to make it an interesting place to stay rather than using country motel template a or b - that's worth a 10 score by itself. Spacious, very comfortable modern room. Lots of trees and open space around the motel. Breakfast included made it good value.

Linda Mary (9/5): Perfect overnight stay. Highly recommend. - The property was well presented, spotlessly clean and ideal for my stay. My check out time was extended for which I was grateful. Complimentary light breakfast was most welcome. Nothing to dislike
