• Tania (9/5): Beautiful location and villa with everything we needed for a family gathering, a great restaurant with fun and friendly - Beautiful location and villa with everything we needed. Great restaurant and host was very responsive and helpful. Some of the resorts facilities weren’t available.
• Michelle (9/5): Well equipped, something for all the family to do or to just relax - Property is equipped with everything you could need for a few days away. The balcony was a real winner for us we spent so much time out there with a few cockatoos for extra company. Not a property issue as such but where have all the kangaroos gone? In previous stays in this area we have really loved seeing the wildlife outside the window at dawn and dusk.

• Robert (6/5): - This is an old property with a re ent extensive refurbishment that’s been very well done. The rooms are very well appointed and the bathrooms are great. The ground are not well looked after. They are tired and done cases old structures are falling apart. Breakfast and coffee arrangements are quite good, although they do not offer toast and Vegemite or jam for those of us wanting something light. They do not service the rooms daily which for a hotel is ridiculous. Having said that it’s probably one of the better off mountain options in the Mansfield area.

• Fan (6/5): Clean condition, bad sound prove - room size is ample and comfortable for 2+2 family. However the toilet/shower is extremely small. Bumped my head on a metal handle while shower twice. The wall also makes noise during the night from next door’s maybe aircon or washing machines. Our bed was shaking at 4 a.m in the morning, wakes the kids up a few times.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm & friendly service that continued throughout our entire stay. The resort's facilities & grounds were excellent. The restaurant served meals of a high quality, making every dining experience enjoyable - including breakfast. The service was impeccable, with staff always attentive & eager to assist with any requests. The rooms were exceptionally clean & well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment to relax in. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort made our stay truly memorable. Overall, I could not fault the Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort. It is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to experience top-notch hospitality & a relaxing & picturesque getaway. Highly recommended!

The only thing I found strange is in the suites you rooms aren’t serviced. No biggie as you can request towel changes. Watch out for special dinner nights. We participated in paella night. The chef cooked his nanna’s tapas recipe.
• Marcus (10/5): Overnight Getaway from Melbourne - Nice place to get away from the city for an overnight stay. Room was well appointed with a very adequate kitchenette and a full size fridge. If you want to cook in the room be sure the bring everything because there is no groceries shopping here or nearby (Mansfield is the closest shops). Bathroom has been renovated recently. TV was an older smart TV without streaming apps. Grounds were beautiful kept with lovely displays of flowering plants and well cut lawns. We ate in the restaurant and had a lovely well cooked steak. The menu is not too ambitious or out there, clearly the chef knows what they are good at and does not try to get too carried away with unnecessary ingredients. Had a conversation with Dushy the General Manager, he had helpful wine recommendations and clearly knows the hospo game and is very focused on building a good team through proper training and encouragement. Best thing I can say is that we will be back sooner than our last stay here, which was ~20years ago! Give it a go, you won’t regret it.

Feedback on the motel room was not enough towels for dual showers for 2 people - only 2 supplied. overall very lovely place.

Pool was closed, and game room requires coins they should have pay wave functions or should be able to cash out at the bar. Garden area looks amazing but it is full of animal poo so not good for sitting. Location of the place is really good. There are no more covid restrictions but spa, gym and sauna were still closed and reason given to us was covid which was disappointing.
• Yuri (6/5): Kangaroo poo haven - The resort is Ok , nothing special , The 1 bedroom apartment is spacious and it had all the amenities. The hotlel grounds are covered in kangaroo poo, its everywhere , on the grass , paths, peer , everywhere you walk.
• Heidi (8/5): Stunning location - Beautiful property in a stunning location. Perfect weekend getaway or base for skiing/mountain biking on Mt Buller. Rooms were generous, well appointed, spotless and comfortable. Some amenities were not operating due to covid induced staff shortages, etc., however once things return to normal, this place would be hard to beat. The closures did not really detract from our stay, as there was still enough to do around the area. Sitting on the deck outside the bar, watching kangaroos and deer wander the hills, was a highlight. We will be back.

The only negative would be the restaurant, even though the food was good, did feel that it was little expensive.

The studio rooms were beautiful and spacious within plenty of room to hang all our clothes. Lovely comfortable king size bed and a great bathroom. The staff are wonderful and help in any way possible.
• Ryan (10/5): Great "off-the-mountain" place to stay! - Just 15 to 20 minutes away from Mount Buller. This hotel is a great place to stay after a full day in Mount Buller. We really love the 1 bedroom apartment that we stayed to. It was clean and has the stuff we needed for our holiday (small kitchen, microwave, kettle, dishwasher). The food at Peaks restaurant were really delicious and the server are really friendly. Will definitely go back next season.

• Karen (8/5): Great stay, but give breakfast a miss! - Great stay, large rooms. Was upgraded from studio to 1 bedroom. Unfortunately we decided to have breakfast in-house. With only 6 other people in the restaurant, we didn’t see any breakfasts come out for 1/2 an hr, and waited nearly an hour for our order.... disappointed, and was nearly an hour late for checkout by no fault of our own.

Would have liked in-room WiFi but that was minor. Wine at the end of the day at Peaks overlooking the hills was awesome. Will return in winter months.

Spa pretty grotty so we couldn’t use. Dinner reservation not available at 7, but 6:30 or 7:30 was okay? We were 10 mins late for our 6:30 booking and they called our room to see where we were. Lots of empty tables so wondered why dinner was made so hard??

• Andrea (10/5): Lovey accommodation - Clean comfortable and nicely furnished room with massive bed. Good sized bathroom with lovely products. Friendly staff and nice menu with very tasty food at the restaurant. The hotel has great facilities incl pool, spa, sauna and more. Was a little surprised that room wasn't made up on second day but it was clean and perfect when we arrived.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the resort had everything you could possibly need. we especially enjoyed sitting on the chesterfields playing chess in-front of the large open fire place. Very comfortable with beautiful surroundings, and only a short drive to the base of Mt Buller.

On more than one occasion we were waiting for quite some time to be asked if we wanted drinks and not once did they ask us a second time if we wanted any more drink. On one occasion they even forgot to get the drinks that we had ordered and paid for, we had to remind them.

• Mark (8/5): Nice and clean hotel - thirty minute drive to the ski resort.Clean hotel. Restaurant is good.The only disadvantage is the internet which is not free.
• lily (8/5): Resort is close to Mt Buller - Resort has large scenic grounds. Chalets are modern and roomy. Location is close to Mt Buller, approximately 5 minutes away from entry gates. On our first night, we ate dinner at the restaurant there and was disappointed. Probably due to staffing levels, patron's meal orders were not taken on a first come first serve basis. So we ended up receiving our food after other groups who arrived much later than us. Our dinner came our 1 hour and 15 minutes after we arrived. Then when we asked for our dessert to come out, we had to wait another 40 minutes...also arriving after other groups had ordered their desserts after us. The food wasn't great either. Would have been better if we had cooked ourselves in the chalet, especially with 3 kids who were very hungry and couldn't wait 1 hour and 15 mins for their meal. So the following nights we stayed in and cooked, couldn't justify spending over $100 and waiting close to 2 hours for all meals to be served. Was an experience not to be repeated.

• Mummy (10/5): Great base for the snow - Traveling with 3 kids under 8 and it was a great Snow experience. Very short 20 min drive to the top of the mountain and the same to Mansfield. Made good use of the free clubs/balls to use on the mini golf turf. The fold out sofa was not comfy to sleep on, however the king bed was Devine. Its definitely a place I'd like to visit again, and I don't usually book the same place twice!

• Buch (10/5): Anniversary Stay for Mt Buller - This is our second time staying at the sebel. I really like it here. Pros: one bedroom appartment so nice n roomy compared to the studio we stayed in last time. Wildlife birds n kangaroos on the property :) Sticky date pudding is amazing = heaven best bit!!!!! Con: The room had a funky smell from prev ppl, rooms needed to be aired out. Staff abit unorganised, one of them advised us that the kitchen was closed when i wanted to order desert late at night. Had to go check it myself and it was open! Kitchen food was of 5 star price food came out coldish & wasnt filling & they dont do room service you have to collect yourself. Went to get breakfast it was empty and had to wait soo long before we could eat. My partners pancakes came out cold and my 'big breakfast' was small... food was ok but expensive. Not worth the money. Went into town to each for half the price & food came out hot. Overall id stay again cause its close to buller they prob just need to work on staff & their dinning.
• SANDRA (10/5): peaceful, relaxing very calm and cosy. - this place is stunning ...... just everything about it from the friendly warm happy staff to the cosy atmosphere with plenty of public fireplaces throughout the hotel for all to enjoy. Im short of words as to how goregouse this place is.i cant recommend it enough. Very peaceful & beautiful place. word of advice if renting gear to ski 4 just one day....i cant stress enough to rent on mt buller just in front of burke run shop. DO NOT RENT FROM MELBOURNE OR ANYWHERE ELSE JUST YOUR JACKETS AND PANTS.....YOULL RUIN YOUR DAY IF U HAVE TO CART AROUND BOOTS AND SKIS AS I DID, THEY WEIGH EACH LIKE A HEAVY CHAIR AND YOULL B LEFT WITH NO ENERGY TO ENJOY THE DAY FROM THE VERY POINT GO.....AND IM VERY FIT.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Normal resort - The upper room is quite stuffy and the room are smaller than what it was shown in the photo. We need to indicate clearly on the booking on how many people is staying in the apartment. I booked 2 bed room apartment that come with a king and 2 single bed and a sofa bed. So the number of people staying should be more than 3 but I didn't change the number as I thought that as long as I don't exceed the max number (4 adults 2 children) I should be fine. The receptionist told me I need to indicate clearly. Normally thry need to charge AUD 50 extra per person per night but they are not charging me as I didn't exceed the max allowance.
• k.ebert (10/5): Beautiful hotel at the base of mt buller - This is a great hotel close to mansfield and only a short drive to mt buller ski base. Staff were very friendly and dinner at the restaurant was nice. Room felt newly renovated and very clean. Overall had a great stay and highly reccomend!

Instruction from office about dishwasher was vague to say the least. Had to find cleaning staff to assist. They were very helpful and were aware of the lack of instructions and were frustrated by the attitude of management regarding instruction information. Maybe management should listen to their cleaning staff. Restaurant not able to cope with a function as well as the restaurant. Had to wiat 1h+ for meal.
• Georgia (8/5): - Lovely short stay at the Sebel. Great location for access to Mt Buller and Mt Stirling. The rooms were clean and modern and beds were comfy. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food and staff were fantastic, keeping the kitchen open to feed us even though we were pretty late for our dinner reservation (tip - if you do the circuit of Mt Stirling, it'll take longer than you think!). Also highly recommend heading to the Witch's Brew in Mansfield for breakfast. Great breakfast menu, amazing cakes and warm and friendly service.

Everything was top-notch, from the picturesque setting to the design details and decor. Just walking around the grounds is a treat, but we also enjoyed the lovely pool, sauna and spas, restaurant, bar and our room. Bring a bit of food so you don't have to eat at the restaurant for every meal - even the hotel rooms have mini kitchens.

• Maree (10/5): Took the snow trip to another level - We came back cold and tired from a day up at the snow, the room was beautiful, kangaroo's were feeding in the grassed area. We had a lovely spa and sauna, had a look around at the beautiful surroundings and then had a nice meal in the restaurant. My boy's then decided they would rather hang around the Hotel rather than head back to the snow the next day. Couldn't fault anything. Everything is supplied. Will definitely head back, we are planning a summer trip too now. The bed was amazing.

Bar and Restaurant need an update though in terms of products offered (with a contemporary menu selection, a more accurate beverage list and a fine service it will be a 5 stars resort!)
• Jeffrey (10/5): Snow holiday getaway - We had a fantastic time. We were so happy with the room and how large it was for us. Everything was just lovely and clean. The staff were all very helpful and so friendly, every one like the guys in the snow hire, reception, and restaurant staff. Even though there was a gas leak there and so we could not have hot showers for a night, the staff made sure a back up plan was there and also they gave everyone a night free for this. It was lovely to relax there and see the snow on the mountains,the kangaroos,and bird life everywhere as well. We would definitively stay here again.

• Callum (10/5): Beautiful Resort with Excellent Staff - Stayed at the Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort for 2 x Nights in July 2016. From the advance hotel call to confirm your stay and clarify question sets the tone for the level of customer service you can expect - excellent. Stayed in a 2 bedroom Chalet, extremely comfortable, spacious, no complaints whatsoever. Hotel staff were happy to rearrange bedding to suit tall family members. Driving from the Accommodation to Mt Buller day car park took 20-30 minutes (with no snow chains and reasonable weather). Unfortunately during my stay I had a ski accident and this is where the hotel staff excelled. The hotel staff provided a vehicle and drove my family from the hotel to the Mt Buller hospital extremely quickly, collected our vehicle from Mt Buller and returned it to the hotel, returned our ski hire equipment back to Mansfield, provided an excellent complimentary dinner and sent a hamper full of treats to the hospital. Easily the best customer service I have experienced from any accommodation, would highly recommend the Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort to friends, colleagues and others.

The facilities were great, modern and clean, comfy beds and great kitchen with dishwasher. The games room was well equipt and included a table tennis room. Peaks restaurant meals varied, overall ok. Friendly, helpful staff.
