- Kelli Jean (2/5): - The room was clean but when in the shower , I touched the showerhead and the whole thing broke off into my hand. Water shooting into my face. Couldnt be fixed as the metal pipe was rusted and snapped. Asked to move rooms but was fully booked. Women was very nice and offered us a shower in a single room but as it was storming that wasnt an option. Also vertical blinds didnt cover the whole window looking over a common balcony. Which has a flickering fluro light that was flashing in my face. Tv remote didnt work. Huge draft under doors. Wind made loud howl thru the closed windows. Nightmare after a 8 hr drive. Room was not fit to be rented. Women gave us $100 refund which we accepted.

- Mark (8/5): - Inside the room was fresh and clean with basic facilities for self-catering. However, noise from the neighbouring room was intrusive. Thankfully they took a hint at a reasonable time. Outside the building is showing its age with signs of low-budget maintenance and nothing to enjoy in the grounds. Beware the card surcharge adding a few dollars without notice. Very few local meals options within 1km walking distance on a Monday night, even in peak season.

Unfortunatey the main windows in the room were missing several vertical blinds which didnt give us the privacy one would expect when staying in a multiroom motel complex with other patrons walking past. Beds were also a little hard. We are motorcycle tourers so we can handle not staying in 5 star accomodations so the room was quite adequate for us considering the good value price. Just the privacy was really our only niggle.
- amol (8/5): - Our stay was very comfortable, the motel is conveniently located close to the town centre and good views of the bay. Mr. Costa was very helpful with the check-in and very resourceful to our inquiries during our stay.

- Trevar (10/5): A charming old motel - A charming old motel in a lovely location, with great views. I had a chuckle when they asked me to copy (by hand!) all the booking details they had already collected via my booking... and then proceded to hand that piece of paper back to me as my invoice! Not sure the meaning of this odd ritual, but it was part of the charm! The room was spacious and well-equipped. Staffing difficulties meant it wasn't quite ready when we arrived, but they got onto that pretty quickly and without cutting any corners. Overall, a great stop in a beautiful location, with much to recommend it!

- ALEXANDRA (4/5): - No Covid preparation. Bed had quilt until I requested a sheet to cover bed, and quilt removed, chairs were old , stained, very dirty fabric. My toilet had paper in water and had not been flushed. I called reception and it was cleaned as I watched. Upon check in reception had no knowledge of my booking. 7:30 pm person came to door DEMANDING I come to reception and pay. Threatened I wld be asked to leave if I did not go to reception . I chose not to go as I knew WOTIF had paid. Next morning a weak apology at reception.

View of the sea from my room was nice. Very easy parking access at the door of the rooms. Single level. Comfy bed. Water pressure in shower was not so great, but ok. Helpful and kind people.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - By accident, we found this motel. We really like the family atmosphere from the carer of this place, she is a friendly and helpful lady. Additionally, a lot of car spaces even for boats and excellent views. We will stay here again next time in Eden.

It is an older style motel but we had a very large room with an amazing view from the veranda. Very good value compared to other motels in Eden. An easy walk into town but a bit harder coming back up the hill! On the main road but set back and quiet

- Dan (8/5): Views - Bed was rock hard, only sink to wash dishes is the bathroom, pool is no more although website says there is one. People smoking on the balconies that the smoke drifts in to our room if windows and doors open which you want with the views on offer. That view is AMAZING. We watched it during the bright of day, sunrise and night. Was very relaxing to wakeup, open blinds and soak it. Family room was large and clean. The motel is 500m up the hill from the main street, easy stroll into town and local beaches. Costa gave a great reception. Got a great office compared to other places with no view. Eden is a great small town, has all needs to make your stay enjoyable. Wonderful history to the 1820s with some great stories and history. The surrounding Ben Boyd National Park would easy take a week to fully explore. Plenty of activities to keep you entertained.

The rooms do not have air conditioning and would have been modern looking in the 1970’s. stayed in an upstairs room, the hand rail on the balcony was rusted and missing securing bolts missing. Tiles had been removed leaving exposed reo in the concrete and gaps that could be seen through.

- Caz (4/5): Nice staff but disappointing room - All the staff in the hotel are pretty nice and hotel rooms are spacious— but those are the only good things about the hotel. - the hotel is pretty out of dated - no wifi on the day we stayed because too many people - worst of all, some tiny insect body and a big yellow stain on both inside of bed covers. There are also mass of hair in different colors on the bed cover. All these make the night very difficult, not even the beauty of Eden can save it.
- John (10/5): Bayview Motel Eden - Room is great with a nice bay view but no Aircon. Since it is autumn weather is rather cold so not an issue. Receptionist is just perfect and very nice and sweet old lady handling to my check in and out. Believe she is the owner :) Food wise, might need a short drive round the corner.
- Verified traveler (10/5): It does have a view and inexpensive. - It sits on the high place hence the view is good: you can see the water and the hills. You can back your car straight up to the door to load/unload. Despite that it is on the main road, it is quite at night. The town centre is not too far away presuming you are driving. Friendly staff and good recommendation for dinning. Most of all, it is inexpensive and available for late booking prior to Christmas.
- Dimitra (8/5): Nice hotel close to shopes and beautiful view. - All the 5 days that we spend there were amazing. We went for fishing, swimming to the main beach Merimbula but we spend more time at Eden I loved that place. The hotel was near to the beaches and center. I will defently go again there.
- Jenny (4/5): Not Happy - Although the property was clean and had lovely views we found that there was no phone in the room, when I ask the manager he just said people have mobiles these days. The issue is you don't get very good reception and I had my 80 year old mother with me who has health problems. The manager just sort of fob it off and said if you have an emergency just come an know on the door. The other issues were that one of the doors didn't have a chain lock on it and the second door chain lock was hang off the door, we also had a toaster that the wires were visible a real safety issue!The cleaner asked if we were checking out or going out for the day and I advised her we were going out for the day, she asked if I wanted the room serviced and if I needed new towels, I said yes and she asked for our room number. When we got back at 5.30 pm the cleaner had never come to our room so I went to see the manager he said had I come back 1/2 hr earlier the cleaner would have come and cleaned the room. Not impressed! I spoke to another guess and they said there room was only serviced once in the week they were there. So what can I say we were not happy!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastic Views. - This Motel is not new, however in saying that, the rooms were spacious, in fact so spacious that we walked past a room that had 2 x double beds and 2 x single beds plus room to move in between. We had a king size bed in a king size room. Every room has a balcony and all the upstairs rooms have a view of the ocean.

- Eddy (6/5): Could be better but could be worse - Costa was both friendly and helpful on our arrival. The room was comfortable, old fashioned and came with a view. It was all a bit tired and a few things needed to be fixed including the smoke alarm and the plumbing however it was a pleasant stay.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Noisy and uncomfortable. - Where to start. Definately not 3 star. The 20 yo Actil towels wear thread bare and see through,would be the dogs towels at our house. The exhaust fan in bathroom is ornamental,no switch to turn it on. The towel rail is above the toilet,seriously?. The noise,from the highway and trucks all night. The greyhound bus in the middle of the night. The pipes of the neighbiurs room clunking. The neighbours child screaming in the might theough the paper thin walls. No tissues!! For $180 a night this was crap. The place is a potential fire hazard,dodgy powerboards and no Surge protectors. Water stains on the ceiling, and no forks!! Do not go here!!!

I basically only wanted a spot to sleep, between work and visiting relatives, and this fit the bill. The rooms are older, but this is reflected in the price. My only gripe was with the gentleman next door snoring all night long - perhaps, in older motels where the walls are fairly thin, it might be better to space guests out on not-so-busy nights?
