• Dalerine (10/5): - Staff allowed our group of four ( staying in a 3 bedroom apartment) to check in a little early, and also check out a little late. We appreciated the chocolates! There arent enough car parks inside the security gates, if you get in after dinner you may be parking outside on the road.

Sauberkeit Sehr in die Jahre gekommene Unterkunft. Sehr laut, durch die Straße. Matratze sehr hart, deshalb konnte man nicht gut schlafen. Badezimmer renovieungsbedürftig. Pool nicht sehr einladend.
• Margaret Gail (9/5): Good facilities and friendly staff. - Good facilities and friendly staff. Room was clean. Staff attentive. Had a few issues with appliances not working properly - the TV packed up for no reason and also the toaster kept tripping. The staff were very prompt at replacing them which was impressive. We stayed 5 nights and the room was only cleaned once during our stay. I actually had to ask the housekeeping staff to give our room a quick hoover as there were crumbs on the floor. Towels weren't replaced which was surprising as we thought they are changed every three days. There was no bathroom sink plug which I had to ask for. Supplies of tea, coffee and milk were not replenished daily either. There was no lift in the building we were staying in so it was a struggle to climb the stairs for me. Parking was on a first-come-first-served basis so was a gamble if you wanted to park near your room. There appeared to be a few long stay residents (for work) who took up a few spaces. However, we were told there was secure parking available next door. I was also concerned about the amount of plastic waste produced from the numerous tubes of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. May I suggest refillable bottles with dispensers as a far more environmentally friendly option. The location of Quest is in a relatively quiet area, however, it is a bit too far to walk to the town centre so a hire car is a good option. Buses seem to be few and far between.

Badezimmer riecht unangenehm, man möchte es nicht gern benutzen, in die Jahre gekommen. Handtücher teilweise vergilbt und schmutzig. Teppich im Schlafzimmer fleckig. Küchenutensilien alt und verkratzt, nicht nutzbar (Teflon Beschichtungen total zerstört).

• Cathy (9/5): - Both what we like and what we didn't here. We stayed 1 week in Alice Springs in early September in a 2 room apartment upstairs. Place was very clean and modern. We knew we had stairs to deal with, so mobility is not a problem for us, as there is no lift. We enjoyed the location but we are a 10 minute walk to the main shopping area, and we like to start out day off with a walk to and back to get coffee/breakfast with plenty of choices there in the Mall. The walk was enjoyable in the cool winter air which was bright and sunny. Felt very safe and secure. Property was gated and fenced well. Our one comment is the bedroom aircon was not working. It was 'on' however it seemed to not be pushing out enough cool air at night when sleeping. The main sitting room was great and was always cool just not the bedroom. Bed was fine and sheets were nice. The TV size was a bit small but that was minor for us. The balcony was lovely to sit out on with a coffee. Full facilities with regards to a washing machine and dryer to use in the bathroom. We had Room 30A.

It was convenient to have kitchen facilities and tv in the room and the blackout curtains were good. Bathroom was tired, location within a short drive of restaurants, but didn't feel overly friendly with the tall fence and barbed wire outside. Beds were not comfortable unfortunately, nor were the pillows. My daughter enjoyed the pool next to the car park.

Our bathroom was very small, the shower looked very dirty possibly that was due to the old grout and tiles. Some rust around the shower frame. Looked dirty. The towels were yellow-ish and could use some bleach. The room itself was quite small. Only 2 pillows on the creaky bed and one of those was quite old looking and out of shape. Not value for money .

• Navigator606759 (8/5): Quest ALice - Yep, was good, safe, would be happy to stay again. I did see a few other places / accom in Alice and i think i made the right choice value wise and general safe / easy. and the stove top and microwave was very handy. i only noticed the BBQ and sitting area near the pool before i left so that is a very handy and chill set up too.

We stayed for a week and found our accomodation suited our needs - once again, the bathroom could do with a makeover. We found one day that we had no water - but probably neither did the rest of the complex. Eventually, the water was back on. At times, a bit noisy with people shutting the fire doors - not closing them - but I'm nit picking lol. Clean sheets, hot water, clean environment - it was what we needed. Thanks again!

• adrian (6/5): A good location let down by tired decoration and poor service - The location is good - just a 15 minute walk into the centre of Alice Springs. Reasonably quiet. The apartment claims to be serviced but we had service only 3 times in 8 days; so bins stayed full for several says and towels weren't changed. We were in a room adjacent to the main entrance door to the block - when they closed the walls vibrated. Strong cooking smells came through from adjacent apartments. We had no usable working shower for 4 days whilst first the water flow was fixed and subsequently the shower head. The decoration is tired - e.g grouting in the bathroom.

The rooms are well equipped for self catering and very comfortable although they are a little dated. The maintenance team were immediately responsive when there was an issue. The car park was secure and there is a nice little pool and BBQ area.

• Rebecca (7/5): Pleasant, large apartment in a good area but totally overpriced and in desperate need of an update. - Great location. Pleasant outlook onto the gumtrees of Todd River. Very quiet and safe. Lovely large apartment with all necessary comforts to feel at home and be able to cook and relax. Fresh towels each day. Customer service was exceptional upon check in. For the very high cost I was expecting far more as I was lashing out for a bit of a treat for the family at the end of our roadtrip in the outback. However what we got was really the bare minimum. While the apartment was nice and roomy and had everything you need, it desperately needs an update. The TV was like something from the early 2000's. Terrible volume/sound that kept fading in and out whilst attempting to watch a movie on a free to air channel because that's all there was. No smart features so couldn't even stream anything or use youtube. Terrible picture and sound quality and just a piece of junk. It's a bit insulting when smart TV's have been around for years and can be purchased at very reasonable prices so it's expected that accommation like this would have this at least. Quite hopelessly they provided a DVD player from somewhere around1995 and a CD player. Great : / The beds were not comfortable - too firm and springy and the bedding beyond bare basics. The shower was over a tiny bath and the water pressure absolutely awful. My large teenage son and husband had a hard time showering in there! The provided soaps, laundry liquid, washing up liquid was extremely poor quality and wouldn't lather.

• chrism0bley (2/5): Safe to say, I’m not going to stay there again. - The Bathroom was full of mould and appeared unclean. There was a visible sludge in the bathroom sink. Wifi was barely used. If you do decide to cook, you have to have a range hood and the aircon running because they’ll charge you if the emergency services have to come out after tripping an alarm. The bed was too hard and I was unable to get any quality sleep, the TV has free to air Big $’s for less than basic.
• Chris (1/5): Beware - I would not stay there. - Not a lot. Other than it was warm. Bathroom was atrocious, full of mould and like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The bathroom sink you could see the backup of hair and sludge in the basin. I have photos that I need to address with management. Bed was as hard as a rock and not comfortable at all. You need to open windows and have a range hood operating to cook or they try to charge you for the fire brigade coming out ($1100) of you set off the alarms

We didn't know that there was no access via the front door. Luckily someone was there to let us in. A sign on the front door that access is via the side doors would have been helpful.

• Jason (5/5): Ok. - Location was great, close to town. BBQ facilities were also good and clean. Bathrooms were old and mouldy. Generally the hotel is dated and needs a good facelift. The carpark was full when we arrived back on the second evening and we were told to park next door. When I went to get the car to go to sunrise (pre 7am) the gate was locked and I could not access the car until 7am after reception opened. While that was not the end of the world, we still should have been told this when we were asked to park there the night before. What if there had been an emergency and we needed the car!!!
• pavi900 (10/5): Short stay or long stay - A secure place with kitchen facilities, there is also a pool, which is very helpful during the summer. The place looks like a community, but it's for long or short stays for Alice Springs visitors. The walking path parallel to the Tod River, which is dry most of the months, is a safe passage to the city Centre if you like a walk. If you see a flowing Tod River, it means you are a lucky person who is at the right place at the right time. Also, if you are visiting Alice Springs, don’t forget to bring the fly nets to cover your face, and you will realize that it is the best decision you made during this rod trip or fly.
