• David (7/5): Close to all amenities. Pool and spa were heated but only luke warm. Facilities were good but wouldn’t recommend unit 6 - It was quiet and close to everything. We used unit 6. Washing machine seal was not in place and it flooded. The manager contacted the owner and the owner knew about the issue but didn’t tell anyone. I ended up fixing the seal. Vertical blinds wouldn’t close properly and the spare blankets were all stained with either food or bodily fluids. Easy fix, just get them cleaned.

Updating these few things in the rooms would be a better experience by all. Another thing to add would be more toilet rolls in the unit especially with children. However was a pleasant stay

• Robyn (7/5): Good clean needed at Surfers Beach Holiday Apartments. - We liked being close to the beach. We liked being able to open windows and feel safe at night. We liked the setup with two bathrooms. We liked the quiet location but still being close to Surfers and Broadbeach. We didn't like the poor cleanliness. The walls were stained. The blinds in the main bedroom were mouldy. It looked like the whole unit needed a thorough scrub down.
• Samantha (10/5): Perfect for large or combined families- only need to BYO food and supplies (toilet paper, soap, shampoo etc) - There wasn’t anything to not like about the property. It was great. It had comfy beds and pillows, Kitchen had everything you could ever need regardless how long you were staying. The fact it has a good full-size washing machine and dryer is perfect for those staying more than a couple of nights. Pool is beautiful and warm. Very convenient location, only 5-8 mins walk to the Tram one way and the same distance to the beach or bus route the other way. Nothing to not like.

Good BBQ facilites Plenty of cooking utensils, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher There is no view of the beach, but this is reflected in the cost. Still a nice outlook over the pool.

• Nina (9/5): We were a big group and we were all comfortable and all had a wonderful time. all had a wonderful time. The units were - Location was great - short walking distance from the beach. Having the spa, swimming pool, bbq area and basement parking were great. Daniel and Helen were very helpful. Nothing major to note — the couch and beds could use replacing, but it didn’t affect our stay. We’ve been advised that the owners will be updating them soon, so that should improve things further.

• Priscilla (8/5): Holiday for our family - I liked how I could sleep in without being woken up by loud people walking past or hearing people through the walls. It was quiet . We had our own parking space and it was well surcued from outsides. The pool was beautiful to swim in . Also a 2 min walk to the beach where U could have coffee and breakfast etc Just for improvement I would allow more toilet paper in the rooms. We had to purchase some the first night within our 7 night stay besides that everything was good

• Qian (1/5): A very unpleasant accommodation experience. - Location is not too bad They didn’t provide sufficient garbage bags, laundry detergent, dish soap, or even toilet paper and facial tissues, all of which had to be self-purchased at the supermarket. The washing machine was extremely dirty, I took some photos which can proof this.In the eight-person room we booked, two people have to stay on foldable beds, which were of very poor quality, along with the mattresses, making for an uncomfortable stay.

• Telena (4/5): Good break, unit was comfortable just wish the bedding was cleaner and the wifi worked. - Good location close to beach and walking distance to shops and Cavill ave - bathrooms were very clean - The bedding wasn’t clean, the top bed comforter was smelly and don’t think they wash them or change them , pillows were old and need replacing They say free wi fi but the TV does not connect to the wifi properly and you can’t watch steaming services unless you hot spot your phone The sign at the front says foxtel, no foxtel available

I had to go and buy spray to keep them out of the bedrooms at least. They were on the beds and crawling up the walls. There was mouldy food left in the fridge from the last guests, I found food under the couch and the place was generally unclean.

• Amani (6/5): uncomfortable stay - Location is good, close to the rail stop, and located in a quite area Stairs which I was not aware of, the blankets and the bedspread were smelly, also the lounge can do with a bit of a clean. The manager was very aggressive and abusive, when we asked for someone to look at the oven because we could not get it to work, he sent us a bill with the amount of $132, although there was not any instruction to turn the oven on, also he threatened us that he will not return our bond back, the amount of $400. The unit was full of cockroaches; we had to store the plates and the cutleries in the fridge, as the cockroaches were inside the kitchen cupboard and everywhere.

The apartments heated outdoor pool & spa, The size of the apartments & overall size of the property not so crowded. The room I was in was 3bdrm recently renovated with underground secure carparking available. The owners are lovely and very approachable. I'd definitely look to stay here again. 😊 Nothing i can complain about actually.

• Peter (8/5): Our stay was exactly as planned and expected - Exceptional value gor money. The hotel was conveniently located to attractions we visited, and a short walk to the beach It was an old building however, it still provided everything our group needed
• Mardhiah (8/5): It had been great with no regret as it is easily accessible to transportation to malls, etc. - Stayed here with my kids and it was great! Mainly because it was just a distant away to Florida Gardens tram station. Very convenient as the tram also stops at main shopping places. Love the space of the apartment, and yes, pretty clean and comfortable! I also like to get some of the negative reviews straight too. The guy who was said to be 'rude' is a very nice man at heart. All he wanted to do is to make sure that you don't break any rules, so that there is no misunderstanding and that your stay will be great one. So, don't believe when you read that he was being impolite or loud ... he is just being him ;) There is also no mould whatsoever as described. Perhaps we were lucky to have an apartment without one, but all was good. There's washing machine, dryer, electric kettle, oven, microwave oven, etc. I would come again, if I ever visited the country!! While I super like the apartment, the tiny thing that I don't like were the roaches. We saw little ones wondering the apartment (oops!). But the owner explained that the resort would be sprayed once every 3 months (for your comfort thoughts ;)) You can't fault the condition as the resort is surrounded with trees and greens. And I believe that it was not because that the resort is unclean (another review to be straightened out). The apartment IS cleaned, just that the habit of nature is inevitable ;) If you want to have a super place without one, go stay at a hotel that only has bed and little pantry for you to make coffee!! All you need is to have a can of insectiside in the house and help to keep the apartment clean. It is going to be like a 2nd home anyway ... so, yeah, keep it clean like it is your own place!!
• David (10/5): - Great place to stay. Great value for money for 5 nights with 2 friends. Main room has an ensuite and the 2 other rooms had 2 single beds. Most of it was refurbished with a new fridge. Location wise it was midway between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. Not far to walk to he tram stop. Pretty quiet area. Happy with it overall. TV's might need updating to Smart TV's. Not sure about the other rooms though. But we weren't there to watch TV.

The smelly bed covers , not on the actual bed spares in cupboard and it was cool in the evening, we had to wash them before use . The spare pulldown beds very old /stained paid extra for this but they had not been set up and no extra bedding provided.as it turned out our number of guests had changed anyway so did not need to use them .

• Johnny-Jay (10/5): Great location all year round heated pool - The location is amazing! 2 blocks to the beach, and you don’t need a car as the trams are amazing and take you into town. The pool was so great kids loved it and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Very lovely area abd we will be coming back and staying again next year. Loved the size of the 3 bedroom apartment. We got a woolies delivery and that was so easy just make sure you order toilet paper. There’s only enough towels for each person so you will need to bring or buy beach towels for swimming which is totally understandable but there’s also great facilities in the apartment like a dryer There was mould on the blinds in all the rooms. I know QLD has had humid weather but you could just wipe this down with some vinegar, the kids were touching the blinds so it grossed me out. I’m nitpicking but would have loved a floor mat for the shower especially travelling with kids, and also I understand they don’t have Netflix and advised before we booked but I think you would get a lot more families if you had updated TVs and options for people to use their subscription based apps, just in this day and age the TV was really a big set back with our kids. But loved this place and it was the best holiday weve had thank you!

Friendly staff who extended our stay no problems when needed - The property was in a great location, apartment was large, comfortable and had everything we needed. There was not much to dislike although could have been slightly cleaner, mostly the walls and some cockroaches.

It’s in a great spot close to everything you need, an easy walk into either Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach. It’s very rundown and needs a bit of an update, there was a hole in the skirting board of the master bedroom, the spa wasn’t overly clean or very enticing.

The pool could be viewed from the units balcony which was nice. the location was a short walk to the beach and a nice cafe on the beach for a morning coffee. You could take an easy walk to to Broadbeach of Surferes Paradise on nice path or on the beach or if you didnt want to walk the tram was only a short walk for a 50 cent trip in any direction. There wasnt anything we didnt like.

• Katharine (8/5): Very good - Really wonderful family experience, close to all the action. We had a 3 bedroom apartment, clean and tidy with all the necessities for the kitchen and laundry. Everything was easy and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend this accommodation. The tv had the local channels but no wifi going to the TV for internet apps, Netflix etc. We solved by using Hotspot from our mobiles so not too major but slightly annoying-first world problem I guess.

The staff were great and the facilities were fantastic. I was very pleased with how easy everything was and explained to us of the rules and details There was nothing really. Only thing was getting luggage up to the top floor was a bit tough, but if that is the only complexity, I am doing really well.

• Tim (8/5): Extended family holiday. - We loved the space in the apartment and the facilities. It was a bonus having a full laundry and two bathrooms. The decor in the living areas was up to date and stylish which made you feel like you were on holiday. We also found the complex quiet in comparison to others we have stayed in. Being close to beach and tram station was also great Bedroom areas were a little worn and could do with a paint touch up.
• Fiona (10/5): Great value stay, fabulous location and very helpful staff - The apartment was spacious and clean with good basic equipment suitable for holidays, towels, a couple of toilet rolls, small soaps, small dishwash and dishwasher powder. You need to buy some more supplies after the first couple of days which seems reasonable for the low cost. Beds were comfortable and had already been made up for us. The management kept the pool, spa, outdoor and indoor common areas spotless with regular cleaning. The Manager was friendly and helpful, we appreciated his kind efforts to make our holiday more enjoyable. This is an older, small property which is showing signs of its age but it is kept in very good repair. Our apartment had a view of the pool from our balcony which we all appreciated and there are only three floors so it is more family friendly than a high rise tower.
