• Lisa (10/5): Beautiful resort with all the trimmings for a perfect family holiday! - Absolutely incredible resort, we are already planning our next holiday to come back! Wonderful staff, excellent facilities on site and the location is brilliant for access to the beautiful beaches and town of Sawtell. The pool and spa definitely made the trip, our little ones didn’t ever want to leave! Sofa bed is not the most comfortable bed.

We wanted to extend out stAt but we couldn’t because you were booked out. Not your fault but could t think of anything else negative. Oh the car park is crazy narrow

• Amanda (9/5): - Great spot, very friendly clientele. Really good facilities, especially the pool. The kids room includes things you have to pay for which is annoying, better if it had free stuff for them to enjoy.

Lots of plates and bowls in the apartments was very useful Nothing!

• Meagan (10/5): - This resort really has it all. So much to do for adults and kids. Rooms were good size and nice and quiet. Pool was heated which was fantastic. Down side the parking is extremely tight. The shower in our place was terrible so we all had to share the ensuite but that was manageable.

• House (9/5): Perfect get away, peaceful, loads to entertain and friendly team. - Great self contained apartment, perfect for your large family to stay comfortably and enjoy. Also terrific facilities to enjoy... the pool and tennis courts and lake made it perfect for us.

It was a shame it was raining for us but the kids had fun with everything in the family room and on the outside equipment when it wasn’t raining. The car space for the suites/villas is outside near the smokers area. It would be better if it was in the secure parking underneath, undercover and away from the smoking area. The sofa bed is very flimsy, only recommend toddlers to sleep on it, no one bigger.

• Domenic (10/5): Overall a strong 8/10 - For me and my family it was great space in the unit and the pool area and playground for the kids was great the location of the resort is the best toormina and Sawtell close by and beaches, for us adults the gym and sauna and spa was great would definitely come back The kids arcade a bit pricey and the mini golf needs a shack up and not having a restaurant and bar is a shame

• Danielle (10/5): Very relaxing stay - Very clean, great sized apartment. Easy access to the bay. Beds were comfortable. Facilities were great! We played squash, tennis, half court tennis, mini golf, swam in the pool and spa and even played a couple of games of billiards in the old bar area. There a playground and sand pit the kids. Grounds were well looked after and staff friendly. There is no air con but there is a great sea breeze. We stayed in Summer (January)

Close location to Sawtell and right on the inlet which is so clean and lovely. Close to everything but still tucked away and quiet. Limited smoking area.

WIFI was a shocker which we tried to use but was just so poor and at times too frustrating to attempt. The premises were great though. The shower recess in the main room needs serious updating though. Very old and uneven or full spray but did manage to shower. Thanks God lol

Everything you need in the full Kitchen. Also Washer and Dryer in our Unit which was very handy. Supermarket and shops a short drive away. Hot water seems to run out after we all showered and both showers couldn’t be on at the same time. Parking spaces very tight.

• Paul (10/5): - We has a 3 night stay 22-24 Mach 2024. The resort is very good, pool, spa are excellent. 1/2 court tennis as well. Has a cafe & restaurant (didn't try them). Has a boom gate secure undercover car park - only issue is the narrow car spaces. The resort was full. We came back sat night after 10pm and only 2 car spaces were left. But I couldn't park our medium sedan into any, as large SV's/Utes parked either side. If I parked in the space you couldn't open the door enough to get out. So had to park on the public street outside the resort. We had a two bedroom apartment. It was clean and comfortable. kitchen was well appointed with all the necessary pots, pan, utensils, china & cutlery etc. Only issue was the beds were not comfortable, very soft no support. We mentioned this on checkout - we had an older room. The apartments are being refurbished. The apartment has ceiling fans, security fly screens on windows and doors for ventilation. But no air conditioning.

• Judith (8/5): Perfect location for the touch footy comp, and to be near the creek and Sawtell. - Location of the creek was good, and use of Kayaks. The pool and BBQs where good too. Rooms are fine, a little dated but the location makes up for it. It would be good if the restaurant was open, or at least a coffee shop.

• Jodi (6/5): One bedroom apartment. - Lovely location and recommend canoeing and pool. The kitchenette included microwave which was great, but not proper oven. No restaurant facility so I think apartments really need to have full kitchen. Really expensive. I consider the one bedroom apartment to be a studio apartment and good for 2 people. The pull-out couch bed is not comfortable - even for a child. The bedroom door is useless and fails to blocks light or sound . Lots of noise and light from garage and people carting luggage.

• Teresa (8/5): Boambee Bay Resort is clean and in an excellent location. We enjoyed our stay and will be back xo - Our suite was large and roomy and clean. We were happy to see that the deck was screened in to prevent unwanted pests from coming in. We also enjoyed the ceiling fans for keeping us cool, and having in-suite laundry was a huge bonus. The facility was absolutely amazing but I did not give a "happy face" score under the facility heading as there were no cafes or restaurants, on the facility grounds, which we were expecting, although the kitchen in the suite was more than adequate for our cooking needs.

• Het (4/5): I’ve stayed here before, but it was bad this time - The resort facilities were good We stayed in the garden apartment and it was clearly not ready as in light bulbs were blinking, shower head was broken, towels were not properly washed, the roof was being fixed every morning so it was super noisy every morning:(. The staff didn’t seem interested when I told them what was wrong either.

There is a very nice Indian restaurant !! The pool was lovely and the games room was heaps of fun. We realy enjoyed the no under 18's party room . The local drinking holes have courtesy buses that will pick you up . There are a few repairs still happening from past weather events. They did not interfere to much with our experience
