DALLAS (8/5): All covered in one comment - We loved our stay in Le George Motel, but there were a couple of things that we pointed out to the Manager that could be of great benefit to the traveller. A safety rail in the shower would be very helpful. For anyone like us needing stability in the shower, there is nothing to hang onto if the need arises. I had to use the tap handles to stabilise, which was not ideal. A front and back door mat would be helpful to keep unit clean for a longer stay like our's. We stayed 8 nights. Perhaps a tea towel, face washers, and a sharp knive or scissors and pepper/salt would be great. We loved our view from the back of the unit watching the river slide by in the channel, the birds, and the large Norfolk Island Pine trees just outside. There is a large grassed area at the rear reaching down to the channel, and seeing the sun rise on our side of the motel was lovely. Our little dog loved sitting at the door watching the world go by. Overall, we were very happy in Unit 7, and we would come back again. The staff were all very gracious and helpful. Thank you. All covered in one comment

All the essential amenities were provided. .Wonderful shower and very comfy bed. Extra pillows and towels provided. Ethan & Nicole were super friendly and our fur babies were very spoilt!. Highly recommend to anyone travelling with your pets. Close to restaurants and great walking tracks. Lovely outlook over the river. We will definitely stay again. Thankyou both for a lovely stay.

Henry (9/5): An amazing dog friendly stay with the loveliest staff - We spent the easter long weekend at the Le George after our original accommodation cancelled on us at the last minute. We're glad that they did as our stay at Le George was amazing, made even more wonderful by the amazing staff, they really make you feel like you're at home. We had our pup with us and she also had a really great time here. The location was amazing, close enough to the main areas, but far enough to feel the serenity of the Port. Everything was great, and for what you pay for, couldn't really ask for anything more.

Sharyn (9/5): Nice location, we went for a long walk after diving and found it was central to everything - The room was clean, we found the motel quite easily. Being pet friendly is always a bonus. And the young gentleman in reception was outstanding. If we are ever passing through that way again Le George is definitely on our list, however, we know now to ask for a downstairs room, we are getting a little old to be climbing stairs. The room could have been on the ground level, but that was my bad for not requesting it when I was making the booking. Other than that there was nothing else wrong.
