• Karen (5/5): - The beach front location of course is amazing. Gardens are very nice. 2 bedroom apartment was quite spacious. No lift in the property! Totally unsuitable for elderly or anyone who cannot manage stairs. Soooo many stairs. Apartment #4 is in dire need of a good clean and entire renovation. The floor tiles have ingrained dirt. Filthy, actually. Lounge suite is covered in dirty marks/spots. Mould in the ensuite and kitchen areas. Laundry sink is unusable.

We ended up using all spare blankets provided and we were still cold at night. Some light switches advised to keep switched on which would trigger the light to go on & off, it seemed kind of faulty. The spa bubbles do not work properly either.

Very short walk across the ocean way walk to the beach. Delightful outdoor dining and relaxation area with an uninterrupted view of the beach/ocean. Mouldy grout and silicone in both bathrooms. Dust on ceiling and on wall decor.

Could look at waves from the apartment. Everything was fine. Our oven didn't work, which wasn't a drama otherwise we would have contacted reception straight away. BEACHFRON - Super friendly, accommodating and great communication before and during stay. Refurbed ocean view apartment was fantastic, kitchen well equipped, and very spacious! Was able to store luggage before checkin and after checkout. Facilities very clean and well looked after. Beachfront! What more can I say! Nothing it exceeded our expectations

• Vicky (5/5): A bit grim. Needs some money spent on it and a parking upgrade to allow modern Utes easy access. - Spacious, as is pretty usual with apartments built in the 80s/90s. Netflix login possible with password. That's about it...pretty Meh. Parking height was extremely tight under the building. We have a Ford Ranger Ute and barely made it under the height barrier. Parking for two cars is in tight tandem, so easy access in and out is severely hindered as you need to move one car in order to get to the other. Also, you have to insert a key into the wall outside the subterranean parking barrier in order to raise the barrier gate, and if you're taking it slow because of the alarmingly low height restriction, the barrier gate starts to descend down onto your vehicle with considerable force. This was pretty hair-raising and could have cause a lot of damage had I not been standing there next to the key pad, in the pouring rain, and was able to turn the key over and over to allow my husband to carefully manoeuvre our vehicle under the limbo-height barrier (after he'd unscrewed his arial)! This is an old building, pretty unloved and, in parts, quite grim. Our 3 bed apartment on the 3rd floor, although spacious, felt minimal, old, unloved and in desperate need of a cash injection by the owner. The climb up the stairs, although fine for our party, would have been difficult for any guests with limited mobility. Common areas felt grubby and areas of our apartment were grubby. Complimentary amenities were very stingy - a few tiny milk capsules and a few tiny shampoo sachets. Nothing says "Welcome" like a completely bare kitchen and greasy-looking soft furnishings. Never saw a staff member. Would not stay here again.

Towel rail fell off. Poor aircon into bedroom. No lift to levels, so moving luggage from garage was clumsy and hot. No close food nor was there any instruction in apartment to indicate where we could go to eat. Had to do dishes and empty rubbish or face $75 fee.

Our apartment was a really good size with absolutely everything we needed. We had the front ground floor apartment and had so much room with the best views. Leaving was the only thing I didn't like. I wish I had booked for longer

Unfortunately the apartment was not very clean. When we arrived into the room the floors weren't clean, we found dust, sand and hair. I had t vacuum the entire loungeroom and kitchen area.

La vue de l'appartement était superbe. On peut directement accéder à la promenade qui longe la mer et à la plage. Merci pour la mise à disposition des clés pour une arrivée tardive. Le personnel est très agréable et serviable. Je recommande les yeux fermés. Nous reviendrons si possible ! Petit bémol, il est un peu loin du centre et des lieux touristiques (surfers paradise, coeur de ville de la goldcoast). Mais le mieux en Australie est d'avoir un véhicule de location dans tous les cas. Donc en 20 minutes en voiture, vous y êtes.

• Philip (9/5): Given the best booking price, this is really a lovely place to stay. - We were in room 19 and had amazing views of the beach, really most rooms do have some sort of view. You are literally a short walk down to the beach with only a pedestrian/bike way separating the accom to the beach. We really enjoyed just sitting on the balcony, chatting and taking in those amazing ocean views. We booked 3 rooms for a special birthday event for my wife and our sons and families were in the other rooms. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Yes it is showing it's age (as do most on offer in that stretch), but it had washing machines, dryers, comfy beds, cutlery, dinnerware, glasses for wine or champagne, microwave, stove top and oven. Fridge were a good size for the food. We pretty well cooked a lot on the on-site bbq while the kids splashed about in the pool. Parking underneath protects your vehicle from storms. Very family friendly environment. Aircon is only in the lounge room, so it can get warm in the bedrooms in summer.

• Chase (7/5): For the price you get a lot of value, good views, great location & a lot of room to relax. As other reviews have men - Steps to the beach that was very quiet. Access to a good pool and hot tub. View of the ocean. The space itself is very big, large kitchen which was very nice. Staff were super friendly! It was noisy at times. You could hear airplanes landing/taking off but I found closing the bathroom door and putting the fan on helped with that. Other guests were quite noisy during our stay at early hours of the morning. At 6am a family was outside talking loudly and pushing chairs around.
