- Ting (7/5): For a girls escape it was good value, I would stay with friends there again, however if I came with family would upgrade - Burleigh Heads was terrific, the apartment is located across the road from the beach with filtered views through the Norfolk Pine trees. Rooms are spacious and having the second bathroom was good. Very good value for money. Even though we didn’t use the pool or tennis court was an added bonus. Apartment 15 is on the 5th floor, when I booked not told what apartment until payment made, whilst it represents good value it is tired looking, kitchen is the original, laminate is lifting on the kitchen bench where food and water could get under. Second bathroom has been renovated however ensuite original and very dated. The main bathroom shower was broken making it difficult for anyone over 1.5m tall to use.

- Danielle (1/5): Totally disappointing - literally no words it’s that bad! - The location and view that’s it! Overpriced old apartment that had a tiny Air conditioner that didn’t work !!!! Complained told it was working fine it wasn’t it was 26 degrees inside!!! We had no choice but to leave every door and window open for air!!!!! Even at night!!! Also dodgy monitoring device called munit! Never told prior to booking listens to noise temperature and it’s an invasion of privacy!!!! If I’d known that the air co wasn’t working snd( ancient old unit) - and none in bedrooms only main and still not working I would never ever have booked!!! Worse still They sent someone to check when we weren’t there! I didn’t even know what time they were coming’ unprofessional they came onto the apartment Without telling me!!! Expensive for a crappy old outdated kitchen and apartment! Beyond disappointing! Also our car space was taken up by the owners car!!! When we arrived! Disappointing from start to finish!!! And we got stuck in The lift!! Had to call the lift company to Get us out!!!! Asked to be moved to The apartment we booked and photos that were modern - false advertising - - but they refused and it was hot humid disgraceful!!! Daggy old crappy kitchen needs a full Reno cockroach in cupboard next to the dinner ware!! Terrible communication had to contact them to get my Bond returned!!! Said they usually wait 5 days for someone to go check! Then release it - As if!! lol 😂 we knew they were there as soon as we left as we went to beach and saw the blinds all being opened!!!! So lies again as like photos for the room it was not the apartment that we booked for big $ that one was renovated and new we had the 1970 apartment! Even a budget $100 a night crappy Little hotel would have had cold air co!!!! This was very $$ per night - just totally disappointed!!! Also supposed to be two queen beds we had one in the master and other rooms two Singles in each!!!! Disgraceful false advertising!!bathrooms rusty old towel rails, waer evaporating on walls it was so humid and hot!!!

Main bedroom got quite hot during the day/ night, and was mildly relieved by a ceiling fan. Being located on the top floor. Initial check in to apartment was a bit complicated,no reception staff on site.

The unit contains possessions from the owner - items in the laundry and walk in robe in the main bedroom, etc. We were unaware that this would be the case. This was more like an Air BNB than a holiday rental unit. The wifi was very poor. The second bedroom has exposed nails in the floor which was very dangerous.

Trotzdem keine Partyhochburg. Das Haus und der Pool sind sehr ordentlich und ruhig. Support funktioniert. Parken in der Tiefgarage unproblematisch. Die Einrichtung Küche und Bad (Fliesen, Möbel, Sanitär) ist aus den 1980ern. Seeeehr alt und hässlich - abgewohnt. Kaputter oder verrosterer Klorollenhalter = Klorolle auf dem Boden zu dem Preis? Bilder im Netz sind offensichtlich aus einer anderen, moderneren Wohnung. Küchenutensilien z.T. unbrauchbar. Haben uns eine eigene Schere und Messer gekauft. Deckenventilatoren quietschen und eiern, drohen abzufallen.

The key was not available at the property but at another one in the Burleigh Shopping Centre probably 1.5 kms away where access and parking were difficult. There was no other option communicated to me by SMS to get the keys of the property. People with no vehicle need to be aware of this aspect of ‘customer service’. The property itself was very satisfactory.

BBQs not cleaned daily; BBQ area getting a little tired. Will be glad when all the roadworks in the area are finished - but with lots of development in the area I doubt that will happen any time soon.

We really enjoyed our stay. Will come again! No light above the kitchen sink. A couple of light bulbs were blown. The washing machine water tap leaked, and the ensuite shower door let some water out onto the tiles - the gap under shower door is a little too big.

Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise from the balcony was unforgettable. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is unbeatable—right across from the beach and easy access to great cafés and shops. Highly recommend Cashelmara Beachfront Apartments if you’re after peace, space, and incredible views. The only downside was the bed in the main bedroom—it was far too soft, and the pillows were unusually high.

- Mariana (10/5): Exceptional - We were on the 5th floor, had a view of the sea from the main bedroom and living area. Beds were comfortable, and the 2 bedroom apartment had everything we needed. The complex had a pool, hot tub, dry sauna, BBQ area, and small tennis court (nontennis rackets to lend, though). All was clean and functional. The hotel has a great location, a minute of walk from a beach with flags. My family had a great time, thank you!

Perhaps they need new bulbs but the bedside lamps were fine. The main living room carpet was old and stained. Replacement carpet or tiled flooring would really lift the apartment.
- Louise (6/5): Lovely, but the unit conditions need attention. - Fabulous location and all amenities The unit we stayed in was very tired. I appreciate not wanting to put new things in the units for people to destroy, but there was mould on some of the lamp shades, it was very dusty and carpet tacks were showing in the second bedroom. This made the stay a little less than ideal.

- Myles (6/5): Location Location Location - The location is fantastic, right across the road from the beach and walking distance to the supermarket, Burleigh Heads etc. We booked Cashelmara as we had stayed several years ago and enjoyed the experience. This time around the same level of apartment was considerably older and poorer quality than what we had booked several years ago, therefore not matching expectations.

- Lorraine (9/5): Lovely apartment and will definitely be booking again in the future. - The view of the beach from both the living room and the master bedroom were fantastic. The finishings were all appropriate to the location, clean and tidy with all essentials available. The bed linen and towels were all fresh. Views and sunsets to the opposite side were amazing too. Beds were comfortable with lots of hanging space in the robes and hangers provided. Location was great, very close to north Burleigh surf club for breakfast and a short walk in the opposite direction for restaurants and shops and buzzing night life on James Street. Found a cool wine bar for cocktails and then Mexican for dinner on the Saturday night. The noise from the main road for the twin room was a little noisy at night which limited opening of the window to let fresh air in. Although there were vented air ducts into the apartment, it wasn't sufficient enough to cool the space in the bedrooms particularly being in summer, so we were reliant on opening the doors from the balcony to let the sea breeze through. In doing so it was a bit noisy from the sound of the sea, but you can't have everything, and the views counteracted this issue and electric fans were provided. Disappointingly, there was maintenance work being done around the pool area on the Saturday, so we were not able to use the facilities comfortably and without drilling noise however, on speaking to the property manager, she promptly offered a return discount for us in the future as some form of compensation which was much appreciated.
- Jean (8/5): Very good - The apartment was spacious and across the road from the Beach. Pool and Spa very good. Great views of the sunrise over the sea. Underground parking. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Quiet, peaceful and very relaxing place to stay. The apartment needs a little updating in the lounge area
