Murray (3/5): The town of Hawks Nest/ Tea Gardens is a beautiful part of the Port Stevens area. The motel is well located near the - It’s location. I booked and paid for a deluxe room. The room I was allocated was far from a deluxe room and nothing like those given in the photo. It appeared to be that of the lesser standard. I woke in the morning to Terrigal dead cockroaches on the floor close to the bed and shin the nest morning to another one, also deceased.

Or if you like upgrade to pay a substantial extra cost, which we declined

Lesley (5/5): Great location. Overpriced accommodation. Very disappointed ☹️ - The location is great. Close to beach and shops. The motel is in need of a major upgrade and maintenance. We had the family room. No cooking facilities other than a microwave. There are rips in the carpet and the bathroom is horrible. The pool doesn’t open until 9am and closes at 6pm. Noticed a few guests very disappointed.

Stains on floor and furniture, beds made but had other people's hair all through them, cutlery and tableware was all filthy and had to be fully washed before use, floor filthy and looked like it hadn't even been vaccumed, photos diplayed look like they are from 30 years ago as the motel looked nothing like them. Very disappointing stay.
Sanjesh (5/5): - Location I booked a deluxe villa which cost me $270 a night, when I made the booking I also requested a ground floor room due to my bad knee I got a message back to say that my request was confirmed When I checked in, I was given a standard room on the ground floor When I queried with reception I was told that the manager had put me in that room. When I explained that I had booked a Deluxe villa it was then that I was told that there weren’t any such rooms on the ground floor and the Lady was happy to refund me the difference of $640 between the standard room and the deluxe room When I went back to the reception the next day, the manager was there and he started to argue with me stating that I requested ground floor and that’s the room I was getting I tried to explain that yes I requested ground floor but paid for a deluxe room and should have been told that there weren’t any such rooms on the ground floor He then changed the story and said that the room I was given was in fact a deluxe room, I had to show him their own website to show him the difference in the rooms He also blamed Booking.com for incorrectly advertising the rooms I accepted his offer for a refund of $320 as I didn’t want to get into an argument with him as he was starting to talk very aggressively I don’t feel that this is a justified refund It should have been a refund of $640 Please discuss this with the manager as I believe even after the refund the rate charged is still too high

Bathroom was very small and cramped. No where to dry bath towels. We were there for 6 days and no linen was changed. Had to hang swimmers and towels over the railing outside to dry.
