Guest Reviews
- Noeleene (4/5): Disappointed - Close to town. Very old and dated. Very noisy. Windows rattled whenever a truck went past at night. Needs to be renovated. Definitely not worth the money
- Anne (7/5): -
- Ji Eun (2/5): - Staff were friendly It was VERY outdated. And the rooms were supposed to me non- smoking but they reeked of cigarettes.
The furniture was old and dirty and done non functional.
- Rayline (10/5): -
- Guest (3/5): -
- Nicole (4/5): - Loved the overall size of the room and the 2 seperate bedrooms. Loved having a kitchen space Double bed in room 1 was unmade/slept in before we arrived. Pillows were in the middle of the bed and the sheets/blanket was pulled down appearing that someone had got out of the bed.
Sheets nd blankets on all beds were covered in long black hairs and short curly black hairs.
Towels placed in the bathroom hanging over the sink were wet (lucky we had our own towels).
Bathroom floor was disgusting and several long black and blonde hairs visible on the floor, in the shower, on the shower wall and all over the supplied toilet paper. We went and purchased our own toilet paper.
Kitchen table was wiped down prior to eating and the wipe was brown in colour.
Chairs in lounge room need a clean with noticeable stains all over them and broken arm rests.
Shower kept flicking between to hot and to cold.
- Sukhwinder (4/5): -
- michael (5/5): Not worth it - Great location, close to food and shops. Mouldy food was left in the microwave from previous guest and when we advised the staff they cleaned the microwave but no apology or anything else from them.
I stayed for 3 nights and rooms were not made up or cleaned once.
Shower door was broken and unable to close so the water went everywhere.
The beds kept moving whenever you sat on them.
Room smelt like gas.
Aircon is broken and would push out cold air even when heat was on 23 degrees.
- Danielle (10/5): -
- Williams (1/5): Stayed here 3 times, and each time the room was disappointing, won't stay here again. - The entrance door to the room was held together with tape and came apart every time we opened the door, The paint on the bathroom was peeling off exposing the dirty cement wall behind it. The main bed was very hard and the pillow lumpy and uncomfortable. Breakfast is not available in this motel and when we opened the milk we were given on arrival to use even though it was in date it was lumpy and off. My granddaughter went for a swim in the pool and she said it was dirty and slimy so got out.
- Graham (6/5): A fair budget motel. - Location was good for our purposes Stayed room 10. Bed was very uncomfortable
- gail (8/5): Very good - Location and room The handle on the shower tap was incomplete so the handle fell off
- Pat Dengate (1/5): - The area Rooms where not serviced
- Tessa (6/5): - It was very good value and had two bedrooms It wasn’t very clean or well kept. Had broken curtains, no plates or bowls and needed to be cleaned properly
- Kathleen (5/5): As expected for price. - Clean floors, clean bedding. Shower safe and clean. AC good. All bathroom fixtures were loose or broken. Front door chain rusty and very weak protection against break in.

- Taranveer (7/5): -
- Andrew (6/5): -
- Peter (5/5): Good comfortable room and beds, but just from above, but for overnight very comfortable - did not have breakfast, good location. No milk in the fridge for coffee and the office could not supply milk, no cold water in the fridge. Shower door broken but a good shower. towel rack came down just sitting there.
- Chris (5/5): Ok but noisy - Rooms clean. Quire noisy outside during the evening.
- Anthony (7/5): - Value Location
- jennie (5/5): Passable - The bed sheets didn’t look or feel fresh
- Rajveer (8/5): Good - All All
- Cindy (6/5): Good short stay - Room was clean, needs some renovations to upgrade rooms.
Located out of town approximately 10 minute walk.
Pool onsite needs an upgrade.
- Jo (5/5): Basic stay but great to have a swim after driving all day. -
- Null (1/5): - location everything dirty and old. mirco oven was brunt out sofa was broken, there was no toilet paper.
- Mathew (1/5): Avoid this Motel at all costs. - Nothing. Poor Hygiene in my room that smelled like dead fish lurking in the bed mattress.
The pool was mouldy and was not cleaned properly.
The owner let a person with shellfish allergies sleep in a bed with dead fish oil and didnt want to help with a refund and just said that all rooms are taken but then after scolding the owner I magically had a new set of keys to a different room that was also a bit musky but not as bad as Room 20.
- Navneet (4/5): Not Value for Money. - Staff was helpful. The property is too old. The bathroom sink was broken, and I could see a spider web on the roof sealing. The room size was also very small.
- Makereta (10/5): -
- xiangpng (7/5): -
- xiangpng (5/5): - 旁边有Aldi超市,地理位置尚可。夜晚安静。 卫生状况不太好,厨卫设备老旧,床铺周围有杂物,垃圾没有清理干净。
- Lee (8/5): -

- Joe (8/5): -
- Mikhail (7/5): -
- Jess (1/5): Not sure how to put it… don’t stay? - Nothing As a solo traveler I felt incredibly unsafe. Shower door was broken, mould everywhere and main items like duvet cover and curtains were also dirty. This place needs some love!
- wayne (6/5): -
- Doug (9/5): Restfall stopover - Ease of booking in. Assessability to unit. Clean room. All facilities needed, and were clean. Nil
- Wesley (8/5): -
- Euan (9/5): Perfect for what I needed and expected. - The room was spacious. The pool was great. It was walking distance from Aldi, KFC, Mecca's and Anytime Fitness. Great location. Nothing to complain about.
- Narelle (3/5): Cheap and 2 star, not 3. - Most things in the room were old and outdated, some things missing or broken, which the owners basically used the excuse of it being 3 star to not fix. Plus the pool wasn’t clean so we couldn’t have a swim (one of the reasons we booked this place).
- Mark (10/5): -
- Jess (5/5): - The beds are not comfy at all and the bathroom reeks of bleach
- Jesse (10/5): -
- Lauren (4/5): Nice little place, but plz clean it - Nice little place just needs some updating and cleaning Mould from the air con leaking, carpet extremely dirty and needs a steam clean, the bathroom sink had scum from not cleaning it properly
- Anthony (10/5): -
- Judith (9/5): -
- Judith (5/5): It was okay. - It was handy to the venue I was visiting. No bulb in the bedside table; not very clean. Strange arrangement of the powerpoints - not near the tea-making area.
- McLaren (1/5): The worker is rude -
- Jane (8/5): -
- margaret (8/5): -
- Jack (1/5): Not worth it- steer clear - Nothing really. It got our record as the second worst place we stayed in in the world! Noisy- from 11pm-4am there is music and people partying, then from 5:30am people are having conversations just outside our room checking out. Rather sleep in your car, you have a better chance of sleep.
Rooms are not really clean, even old foodstuffs under a bed. But given it is too old and run down to clean properly.
Pool filthy, looks more like a crocodile habitat.
Smoke drifting into your room from neighbouring rooms.
8:30 am there is still no staff to see to complain to. Oh well , at least the Citrus Motel won’t see us again.
- Beta (10/5): - Excellent
- Catherine (8/5): - A comfortable stay in a well appointed room. Plenty of hot water. Crockery and microwave avail. Walk to shops.
- Craig (8/5): - The room was exceptional for the price.
Nothing to complain about. Would stay again.
- Paul (8/5): - A
- Ann (8/5): - Busy Main Street in front of motel.
- Darren (5/5): -
- Gillian (3/5): Not happy Jan, smelly - Location The mould in the bathroom on the ceiling
The revolting smell that was coming from the bathroom, septic smell was coming up through the drains.
Had to cover them up to help mask the smell and a can of refreshing air freshener that I got off the office when I told them, couldn't move us all booked out.
Had to keep the bathroom door shut leaving the light and exhaust fan on and window open and a towel at the bottom of the door on the outside of bathroom to stop the smell. We bought eucalyptus spray and oil to pour down the drains to try n help kill the smell.
The toilet is loose not fixed or silicon to floor.
- Jungala (6/5): -
- Phil Tonkin (8/5): - Close to shops and family Was a bit dated bed side lamp was all bent
- Bruce (10/5): - Bathroom window was not securable, could not lock window.
- Pagean (8/5): - The staff were accommodating. The hot water was instant :)
- Bronwyn (7/5): -
- Lisa (2/5): - Very disappointed with this accommodation, bathroom reeked, and other guests made us feel uncomfortable. Definite plumbing issue in bathroom.
- Denise (4/5): - Only stay if there is no other option
Minimum standards
- MARK (8/5): Convenient and quiet - One night stay. Helpful and friendly staff. Room met so requirements adequately. Good location with shops nearby.
- Kim (2/5): - Did not feel safe at all. Random people lurking around at all hours, pacing past my room in the night, staring at me whenever I left the room.
The room had a terrible smell of sewerage which smelt like it was trying to be covered up by bleach. My friends room smelt even worse than mine.
- Parris (3/5): - Good location. Broken glasses and used milk still in fridge.
- Terrie (6/5): Will stay somewhere better next visit. - Good location close to club for tea. Very old motel could hear everything from other guests staying and beds uncomfortable but guess that’s what you get for $140 per night.
- Penny (10/5): - Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff are friendly, the location is close to supermarkets and clubs.
- Davinder (8/5): - Good value for money and close to town . Bit noisy as the next door people were loud.
- Dianne (5/5): - Although clean and comfortable it is an old motel that needs a facelift. Noise levels a little high from other guests.? Noise levels and old facilities
