Guest Reviews
- Branka (4/5): - Last minute decision to stay over night was charged $200 for a room that did not have a table and the place looked dull
- Maddison (8/5): - The man i met at the front desk was one of the loveliest people on earth. He was so kind and accommodating when we had to check in really late at night.
The overall room was basic, the water temperature in the shower kept fluctuating and when another room would have a shower you would hear this piercing noise from the pipes.
But it was clean, and presented lovely.
I would stay here again just for the man at the front desk.
- John (6/5): - .
- Beverley (8/5): - Room was clean and comfortable, but didn’t like having to walk up stairs from car to room.
- Carol (8/5): - Parking underneath (in case of flooding) than steps. If can’t use steps had to go to front of main building to get onto walkway
- Greg (10/5): - simple and effective
- Marie (8/5): Basic accommodation at reasonable price - Well situated, friendly owner gave great information regarding places to dine. Room and bathroom very clean. Easy parking- basic accommodation at a reasonable price.
- Theresa (6/5): - The restaurant had closed down. I booked at this Motel because it had a restaurant advertised. They did give me the name of a place to have dinner and Breakfast.
- D (6/5): - Guy on reception was nice, rooms were fine and as you’d expect.
- Amod (10/5): - Good to stay but me and my daughter felt itchy on bed had to have antihistamine. Aldo when we clearly said three person there should be at least another single bed for comfortable otherwise what is the point to have number of guest.
- Kate (8/5): - I like how it was clean... It was an old style but it was clean.. noise was pretty normal.. okay
- Andrew (10/5): - Great
- Terry Glover and (10/5): - new o
- Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointed - Disappointing. , at moment there’s refurbishment being done so no breakfast and no meals at all, I had to go to Coles to get frozen meal which I microwaved it. The room was “very tired”but on plus side. It will be ok once Reno’s are finished, in meantime I think $184 is way too much for a bed
- Richard (6/5): - Did Realise this was a two story building and restaurant was closed
- Christopher (4/5): - The best thing I can say about this place is the bed was good. You aren't permitted to use the pool it is filthy anyway.
Booked here as it has a restaurant. No not Sunday night.
I have a disability. Nowhere are you advised that parking is beneath the rooms with only stair access.
There is a flat access from the reception but if in a wheelchair, walking sticks, back or mobility issues you can not park and get back up the ridiculously steep driveway.
If you have a physical disability this is definitely not the place for you.
- Jennifer (10/5): Very good and clean - Very happy with room and parking
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Definitely one of the best in grafton stays.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable I slept better than I have in ages. The food in the restaurant was delicious. I would be very happy to stay at this establishment again
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The biulding OLD BANK and its location right in the main street
- Maxwell (4/5): Yesteryear Motel . - Very old style motel that existed in the 70ies .
Walk up to rooms . Rooms very dated and poor bedding . Not 4 ☆
- Tania (10/5): Lovely service, neat and tidy rooms. - Owners were wonderful. Neat and tidy rooms, close to supermarkets and takeaway dinner.
- Geof (8/5): - Affordable, clean, close to shops, peaceful.
Great personable staff
- Loz (8/5): - Pleasant and modern easy to find on vent street near the local shopping centre short walk
- Patrick (8/5): Good stay in South Grafton - Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and quiet except for some barking dogs in the distance. Wifi worked but the signal in my room was weak. All other facilities were dated but well maintained. Location was close to shops and centre of South Grafton. Dinner in the restaurant was OK. Overall it was comfortable for a one night stay.
- Michael (8/5): Convenient and comfortable - Convenient location. Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Restaurant was closed Room wasn’t serviced , and I wasn’t informed at all! Had to ask for clean towels
Shower leaked onto floor. No plates or cutlery in the kitchenette
- Barry (2/5): Pathetic with no apology - The Bent Street Motor Inn Grafton website advertised a bar and restaurant. That's why we selected it. In fact it did, but wasn't open that night. At midnight the alarm went off (that we didn't set). In the dark we hit the snooze button. It went off again. Unable to sleep from then on, we left the Motor Inn at 2.00am. Pathetic with no apology, even after notifying the Motel.
- Bernadette (10/5): - Our stay with Bent Street Motor Inn was very clean, and pleasant. They couldn't do enough to make our stay there as comfortable as possible. The bathroom facilities are modern. They provided all the necessities. They even had a restaurant and room service, although the restaurant wasn't open on the only night we stayed. The design of the premises meant that all cars parked below so when leaving the next day you didn't have noisey cars or fumes outside your window.
I highly recommend it to anyone travelling through Grafton.
- JOHN (4/5): CLEAN BUT NOT MY CUP OF TEA - NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES,STAIRS TO CAR TIRING.COULD NOT MAKE TOAST EXCEPT IN BATHROOM ,ALARMS TOO SENSITIVE AND WE ARE TOLD WE WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CALL OUT. NO COMFORTABLE CHAIRS TO SIT IN
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great accomodation - Stay here often with work, staff always friendly, room always immaculate. Food is excellent. Would highly recommend
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Facilities and staff really good. Was woken quite early by other guests leaving.
- Judy (8/5): Convenient quiet hotel. - Easy to find. Excellent wide car spaces.
One of the few hotels in Grafton with King beds.
Very comfortable room. Older style bathroom.
Great little restaurant for dinner.
Delightful and friendly owners.
- kylie (4/5): $150 a night - We paid $150 a night the bed was 100 years old, could feel every spring, 1 coffee satchel, 3 sugar satchels that were hard... shower leaked everywhere the whole bathroom was soaked and the air con didn’t work properly... disappointed that we paid that much... I’ve stayed in a few places in Grafton now, this being the most expensive, and by far the most disappointing...
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Last minute booking. Friendly and helpful. Knowledge Manager about local issues.
- Terrence (8/5): Nothing special; simply what we expected. - Just stopped in on our trip around Northern NSW and Qld. PLeasant place for a stop over.
- Verified traveler (6/5): mature solo - room spacious but had a bad smell. Not very private or secure as window opened onto walkway.. Adjoining property had large dogs which barked frequently and construction on other side of motel so noisy
- Julie (8/5): Quiet - Surprisingly quiet even though it is in the highway, staff were very helpful and I enjoyed my stay.
- Sid (8/5): - Very nice and helpful staff good facilities would stay again
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to stay for the weary traveller - Staff were 10 out of 10. Very friendly and the restaurant was amazing.
- rodger (10/5): Great safe hotel - The rooms are spacious and very neat and tidy staff are fantastic and friendly great parking facilities for motorcycle and cars.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location in Grafton - The motel is not far from a large supermarket, casual eateries, clubs and hotels and has its own in-house dining room. I love the undercover parking so if raining I could get from my car to the room and room to the car without getting wet. The room was spacious - king size bed, small dining table, desk and a mini kitchen. It was so quiet.
I was warmly greeted at the reception and there was someone there early the next morning to bid me farewell and ask how my stay was.
- Brad (2/5): Hosts are unfriendly and overall stay was terrible - Hosts were unfriendly and really not helpful. Recommend not staying there again.
- elle (8/5): Comfortable stay in well maintained motel - Staff were lovely, very friendly. Room was clean, comfortable, had all the amenities required for us, including our 8mth old. Well maintained motel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very quiet off the main road. - Often stay at Bent St Motel when we need a bed en route to Brisbane. Very clean and convenient. Would stay again any time.
- Verified traveler (8/5): An enjoyable stay - A good, clean and comfortable stay with a convenient location. Highly recommended!
- John (10/5): Value for money and exceeds expectations - Value for money and exceeds expectations. Excellent.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Stayed on way to sydney - Let us check in late. Good service. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.
- Rebecca (10/5): Safe and comfortable. - As a young woman, I felt very safe staying at the Bent Street Motor Inn by myself. My car was out of the stormy weather that had blown in and I was warm and comfortable in my room. I was even able to stay a second night on very short notice.
- v (8/5): comfortable stay for business - comfortable stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Comfortable will stay again
- David (6/5): Frequent traveler - I had to go and buy toilet ammenities as 'wall mounted refillable dispensers' are unacceptable. A much higher rating would be received otherwise
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice hotel, Friendly staff, clean and comfy room.
Good place for a stop off on a long journey.
- Verified traveler (6/5): A comfortable place to stop when traveling. - A large comfortable place to stay when traveling.
- Brian (8/5): Quick stay over - Our family stay at Motor Inn, Bent Street was an enjoyable experience, and with the staff only too happy to fulfil our requests.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Work related trip. This hotel has all the comforts - My only gripe would be the WI-FI reception could improve.
- Neil (8/5): - Very happy will be a repeat customer
- Mark (4/5): Very average. - It was fat less than we expected from info on your web site. It is not four stars
- Amanda (10/5): -
Close to Supercheap auto which is open on the weekends - useful info because our car was broken down, might help other travellers to know as well :-)
