• Julie (10/5): The host gave us a lovely welcome on arrival and so pleasantly surprised to see such a large warm cottage. - The host was so lovely and welcoming. Great big comfortable rooms. Just needed a washing machine and clothes dryer (it was raining while we were there)

• Patricia (7/5): - It was a very pretty spot. Our hosts lived on the property next door and send over their son with a container of salad vegetables from their greenhouse - very welcome. The kitchen did not have a stove but there was an excellent bbq out the back under cover.

Did not know if the service was down, or just not working. Since we had no internet there was no way to contact the host to inquire.

Space for kids to run around. Good internet and phone reception. Lady who greeted us was lovely. A new toilet and sink was upstairs just off the huge big bed's which was great not having to come down stairs at night. Bbq was awesome we did that the 2 nights of our stay. I can say I honestly couldn't fault anything. As pictured in booking.com photos and ad details.

• Sam (9/5): A perfect country retreat, ideal for a few nights to explore the area. - The location is a few minutes out of Richmond, making it quiet but also close to the town for meals and shopping, as well as historic sites. The host met us and even arranged extra towels for us without prompting. The property is warm and spacious, with an excellent shower and good kitchen if you're preparing your own meals. The light came in early upstairs as there is only window frosting, no blind/curtain. Otherwise there was nothing we did not like.

Interesting creaking sounds with Tassie's strong winds - Host met us at the door upon our late hour of arrival and to ensure everything was OK and to inform us of broken 2nd bathroom/toilet. • Natacha (7/5): Nice 2 bedroom accomodation in Richmond - Spacious 2 bedroom accomodation with 2 big beds in the second bedroom. Very close to Richmond town center (4 min drive). Lovely host. A bit cold in winter, with only reverse AC for heating. But heated blanket available.

Quiet surroundings being that little bit out of Richmond, but close enough if you need. Beds were very comfy and plenty of space to spread out. Will definitely stay there again.

• Terence (8/5): Very good - Shared lounge amd kitchen area Was Lovely amd kept beautifully. Bedrooms felt calm with the shift away from all White accessories into some calming green tones. Well provided breakfast items. Great to see care for environment with use of eco-Friendly products. Parking was very tight and difficult to use at times. Also, although the staff were friendly I would have liked a little more understanding of English as It made it difficult to ask questions.

• Shirley (7/5): A little disappointing - The hostess was very pleasant and helpful on arrival . The breakfast provided was very good and sufficient. The beds were comfortable and very clean. The bathroom.was clean The living area was spacious and comfortable The outside area was very run down and untidy, nothing like the photos provided. The barbecue was very dirty and side burners did not work, so nowhere to cook, was no stove in the kitchen. The outdoor chairs & table were very dirty. The back.door was very difficult to close properly. Inside the kitchen cupboards were dirty.
