Guest Reviews
- Mark (10/5): Was a wonderful couple nights - Nice clean and cozy Possums gets a little cheeky and active at night đbut overall great place to have a quite peaceful time away from the noise city
- Tina (7/5): Lovely get away, peaceful and quite - Quite location with lovely garden views. The cottage was very comfortable with good facilities, staff were friendly and super helpful. There was lots of lovely wildlife around us including peacocks and ducks making it a unique experience.
- Joanne (9/5): - We loved the gardens and cottage surrounds - established garden and beautiful pond in front of the deck - lots of birdlife to enjoy. We had two gorgeous days weatherwise and spent a couple of hours reading on the deck each morning. The kitchen was well set up with tea/coffee/hot chocolate and additional provisions were a lovely extra - wine, milk, eggs, bread, butter, juice. The cottage decor is cosy with many nice touches, the bed is very comfortable and the bath is huge! We lit the fire and sourced extra wood from the wood pile near the reception cottage. There are a couple of things to mention here as they did detract a little from our overall experience, namely a pesky possum? rat? in the roof which made a bit of noise during the night and traffic noise from the main road (which may be easy to ignore depending on your tolerance).
- Olga (9/5): -
- Brooke (8/5): Loved the large cabin and the fire place. It was very quiet and peaceful. Super close to the town also. - Loved the large cabin and the fire place. It was very quiet and peaceful. Super close to the town also. A big property to wander around and also feed the chickens. Good mix of DVDs.

- Anne-marie (10/5): Peaceful and Reaxing - The privacy and the surrounds of nature. Lack of wifi but it does state when you book that wifi can be patchy.
You also donât get much reception on your phone but that can be a good thing as it forces you to switch off from technology for a while.
- Wisam (10/5): -
- Simon (8/5): A wonderful private location with all we needed for comfort - The location was peaceful and private. We had everything we needed apart from a dishcloth but that was delivered promptly with a smile. Each morning we woke up to chirping birds, the sounds of a bubbling creek and a gentle breeze through the treetops. At night, we shared the company of a symphony of frogs and marvelled at the starry sky and clean open air. We didn't have any complaints but perhaps a brighter outdoor light is needed for cooking on the BBQ.
- Sarah (10/5): - Secluded, quiet and clean. My son loved feeding the chickens and ducks.
- Shelley (7/5): Fleur Cottage is set in a picturesque, if somewhat overgrown garden. - The extras such as juice, eggs and wine were lovely touches. The grounds were overgrown and untidy.

The hosts were warm and attentive, and the extra touches like fresh eggs added charm to our stay. finding a couple of spiders in the bedroom drawers

- Miller (8/5): - The location is so restful and the visiting birdlife- choose, a duck, peacocks... excellent. Loved our hosts. Thought the welcoming eggs, milk, bread, orange juice was above and beyond. Lighting was dimensional around cooking area. Need to keep on top of light bulbs... nothing else.

- Sarah (9/5): Fantastic stay. Clean and cosy. - Everything you could need and want - some lovely touches with the fresh eggs, milk and bread. Tory was so attentive and answered any questions we had. There are games and dvds in the reception to use. Unfortunately the dvd player wouldnât work but other than that there was no issues. Place was very clean and cosy. Nothing. Everything was amazing
- Toni (10/5): A little gem in kangaroo vallley. - Had a wonderful weekend at Fleur cottage to celebrate my best friendâs 50 th Birthday.
The property was spotless and Tori went above and beyond to make us welcome. She was able to organise some one to come to the property to give us a remedial massage and Tori prepared an incredible afternoon tea and grazing platter for my friend and I to enjoy in our fluffy white robes after the massage.
This is a lovely place to explore Fitzroy falls and Kangaroo valley and enjoy quality time with friends.
We would definitely come and stay here again. Unfortunately the area was a bit wet due to all the rain so will have to come back and explore when the weather is better
- Robert (8/5): Rustic cottage just outside of Kangarro Valley - Great rustic cottage with wood burner and fantastic orchard with oranges & grapefruits, etc Stove worked but seemed to spit which was scary when you cooked.
- wael (10/5): -

- Kat (10/5): Perfect for a romantic getaway absolutely stunning - The cabin was so cosy and romantic plus very clean, comfy đ we especially loved the fireplace and stunning deep bath. There were so many lovely touches, the fresh farm breakfast, the cookies, hot chocolate, marshmallows. The grounds were colourful and truly beautiful. The host were easy to interact with, you wouldnt even know they are on the property as you have so much privacy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. LOVED IT! The communal billabong and seating area was very overgrown and needs some attention / upkeep however this did not impact our stay at all.
- Luke (9/5): Superb -
- Philip (3/5): Not luxury... - Nothing It was dirty and shabby. Not at all luxury cottages as advertised. Nothing like the pictures
- Lachlan (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (7/5): Very comfortable beds and lovely cottage but grounds need work to bring up to standard - Cottage was very comfortable and lovely, host left bread, milk and eggs which was a really nice touch.
The chickens greeted us which was cute Grounds in photos were deceiving, overgrown and not like we expected. Stove and toaster were not clean when we arrived but didn't take much to clean up.
- Ajit (9/5): A rejuvenating escape filled with scenic, quiet moments with family fun - Location and Breakfast was great with fresh eggs, Local bread, and Juice etc Cleanness of 2nd Toilet and possible replace smaller TV with big one!
- Mahdi (9/5): Lovely relaxing getaway - Loved the complementary basket of food, including fresh loaf of bread, and the eggs and milk from the farm.
- Muhammad (7/5): Good - When we arrived, we were very happy because it looks a very private place. But out of the blue the owner of the property was visiting us everyday without previous notice. He just appeared suddenly, once in the back yard, and once at the entrance. And this destroyed our sense of privacy totally.
- Megan (6/5): Pictures and descriptions of accomodation did not match the state of the accomodation - Location the chickens check in was easy Overall property was dated and needed a deep clean. On arrival bathroom hadnât been cleaned - other peoples towels hair in the sink toilet not cleaned garden was neglected carpets were old and dirty
- Frank (9/5): Delightful and peaceful country cottage - Beautiful, tranquil location. Very private accommodation, comfortable furniture and beds. Idyllic setting in Kangaroo Valley. Our host Adam was very helpful and gave us great tips for touring in the area.
- Lindsey (9/5): Lovely stay with lots of space - Large cottage with everything we needed. Lots of space for 4 people. The staff were incredible - helped us with an early check in and were kind. Loved the chickens who wander around the property. Would stay again! Nothing!
- Arlene (3/5): Average. Looked nothing like the photos. - The property is in an unkept condition. Less than impressed with the outside. Looks like it needs a lot of work. The bread looked like it was more than a couple of days old. The smallest tv weâve ever seen. The overall setting
- Zeb (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mia (9/5): We love our stay at this cottage. Very peaceful and close to where we want to be. - Adam was very kind to provide some basic supplies - eggs, milk, bread, butter and juices as a start up pack for our stay. Basic cooking spices readily available too. Very handy!
Strong WIFI a plus point. None. All good
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (8/5): Place to reset the soul and take time to breathe - Wonderful holiday home situated in a leafy alcove of trees, fruit trees and flowers. Amber fire wood provided. Chickens were absolutely wonderful. Would have loved to know their names. Presentation on arrival was 100%. Table set, ice cubes in the freezer. Timber cut and ready. Chocolates on the beds. Beautiful small jug of fresh milk and eggs provided in the breakfast pack. Wonderful selection of teas. Broken floor boards on the front porch( not really an issue but just be careful). No water jug. Limited wine glasses. Would have loved some glasses for a gin and tonic. Please be aware there is very limited free to air TV and TV wasn't a smart TV therefore unable to stream. Didn't quite understand the decanter in the loungeroom with port or sherry?. Maybe some jam in the breakfast pack. Coffeemaker is a plunger only. Kettle was on the stove no electric as in brief. Took a long time to boil. To protect the beautiful dining table extra placemats would have been wonderful.
- Trudy (10/5): Very relaxing - Lovely family friendly property. Very friendly chickens! Nothing
- Brett (9/5): Beautiful Peaceful Cottage. - Just a beautiful peaceful place. Nothing at all,
- Rodrigo (10/5): Memorable - Everything from the grounds, the cottage and the lovely people that run this amazing place Judi and Adam. Having to leave
- Carrie (9/5): Superb -
- Alison (8/5): Relaxing stay - Lush surroundings; all the little extra things provided and options to purchase local wines etc. The beds weren't made up as requested, and one of the singles was very soft, so my daughter didn't sleep well.
- Carla (10/5): Peaceful and very enjoyable - We loved being welcomed by the chickens. The serenity of the location was beautiful. Adam was very helpful and enthusiastic.
- Gerard (9/5): Was a very pleasurable short stay - Very private
- Zoe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Estelle (10/5): Perfect little getaway - ROSE COTTAGE was such a comfortable cottage with everything you need.Plus lovely extras like eggs, milk , bread, cereal and more to get you started.
The location was perfect. So close to Kangaroo Valley .But felt like it was miles away.
Lots of places to explore and relax in .
Adam was a very gracious host and made us feel very welcome.
We will definitely stay again
- Charley (9/5): Beautiful cabin, magical location. - Beautiful presented, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Proximity to a sometimes noisy road.

- Joanne (10/5): Perfect relaxing get away - The cabin was clean and cosy. We had a beautiful evening by the fire, the beds were so comfortable, I would definitely recommend a stay! Nothing I loved it all
- Rachel (3/5): Poor - Breakfast was poor. There was no jam, no veggie, no peanut butter. There were two bottles of organge juice in the fridge although we were three guests, and only two hot chocolate mixes. and yes we could have gone to reception to get more. There was not enough coffee. So easy to fix those things.
There was no WiFi.
- Rose (9/5): Had a most relaxing and enjoyable stay at Crystal Creek. - The fact that the owner and staff did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable . There wasnât much we didnât like.
- Samuela (8/5): Very good -

- Barbara (9/5): Relaxing Place - Loved the cottage felt like home but more relaxing
The sound of the insects, the frogs at night very peaceful sleep
The views are amazing and everything you need facilities all available at cottage
- Deborah (8/5): Very nice location. - Very relaxing and Adam was quick to sort out any concerns. Location, felt like we were so far away from everything.
- Patricia (5/5): Passable - Hospitality from staff was great and very quick drive to Main Street of the valley Overgrown trees couldnât see anything like photos. Charged me $160 for incidentals with no invoice or explanation for the charges. Wonât answer phone to explain
- Kay (8/5): Very good - Lovey cottage. Alarm telling you to get out.
- Jerry (8/5): Wonderful private, spacious cabin in a very accessible location - Private, excellent and spacious cabin, exactly as shown in the pictures.
- appreciated the little touches
- plenty of firewood to keep the fire going Facilities not to the quality expected:
- Wifi did struggle with our chromecast streaming, at times frozen for long periods
- BBQ is shared and the outdoor/BBQ area not looking like as pictured.
- Bikes doubt they have been used for a while .. not as pictured
- Maria (9/5): A brilliant place to stay to get away from it all with your own private cottage, well equipped! - The cottage was exceptional. All areas were spacious and well equipped. There were extra touches which were lovely like the free bread, pepe sayer butter, orange juice and fresh eggs from their own chickens. The bathroom also had various bath salts and liquids, shampoo, conditioner and body creams to use. The cottage was furnished with a hamptons feel. Our view of the lake and trees from the large sliding doors and outdoor deck was great. It's very peaceful and you feel like you have your own space away from it all. Whilst the bathroom was so spacious and well equipped with everything you may need and more, the shower head was quite small compared to the size of the shower. It would of been great to have had a larger rain shower head.
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable and peaceful Rain
- Tony (9/5): Had a lovely weekend away -
