- philip (10/5): Host Nikki sees to your comfort and is very knowledgeable of local area activities. - Yogurt, muesli and eggs provided with locally produced juice.
Property set in natural, peaceful location not far from facilities in town and surrounding producers and wineries. It’s all good with nothing to dislike.
- Lisa (10/5): Fantastic getaway, comfortable and secluded - We loved the location (access to the area) but seclusion of the villa themselves (felt like you were away from it all). Nicci was a fantastic host and we will definitely be back. Nothing
- Sally (9/5): Great two days in Stanthorpe exploring the area with a great base to come back to each day - Great little villa with everything you could need or want. Nikki the hostess was lovely and very friendly and helpful. Nothing not to like

- Hayley (8/5): - Excellent location, beautiful facilities and environment and supportive staff.
- Sharon (10/5): I wish we could have more time to relax in the surroundings, & walk to the top of the hill to take in the view. - We loved the uniqueness of the property & all the little extras. The fresh eggs, milk & yogurt & to top it off caramel fudge. Nothing
- Maggie (8/5): A comfortable experience and we would stay there again plus, recommend to others. - The location was excellent and very convenient to the town centre. Very quiet at night and perfect for sleeping. In the bathroon a grab rail would assist to make taking a shower feel a little more secure. There were ants along the verandah and these came into the cabin all over the carpet. The ants did bite and it was unpleasant. The WiFi was poor.
- Emma (10/5): -
- Rebecca (9/5): Had a lovely stay and I’m sure we will be back! - Great location, super cute cottage, comfy and had everything we needed.
- Martin (9/5): Lovely cottage in a great location with an excellent host. - A lovely location close to the town but with excellent views and quiet, peaceful surroundings. Our host had gone to a lot of effort to make us feel welcome. We lacked for nothing. The wi-fi was somewhat unreliable.
- Hannli (7/5): We loved staying there. But one would not expect the lack of attention to detail, it is not cheap. - Divine location, very peaceful. We saw a wide variety of wildlife, had a Wallaby mother and baby almost on our doorstep. Lovely nature walks all over the property. The guest bedroom in the 2 bedroom villa had only a duvet inner on it, without a cover, of any kind.
This unit has a lovely big gas barbecue. Fortunately we checked before we had guests for Christmas Eve. It was absolutely filthy, we went into town and bought scrapers and barbecue wipes to get get rid of months of grease and carbon build up. The barbecue tongs were broken in two, the two(useless) pieces were neatly put into the foil tray.
My son and daughter-in-law stayed in the one bedroom villa. They had a Weber Q gas grill, beautifully clean. With a completely empty gas bottle. Which was replaced after we called the staff.
On our way back home I receive a message - "WHAT did you do with the olive oil?"
It was in the cupboard, we never used it, it was old and rancid.
- Chloe (10/5): -
- Kenneth (10/5): The room was lovely and clean and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. - The location was beautiful amongst the trees.
The extra little treat of the apple juice was a nice surprise. The only thing we had a problem with is the low lounge as we are tall. But we did go with the disabled villa.
- Rhys (10/5): -
- Caroline (8/5): -
- Jamie (10/5): Probably one of the best short stays that I’ve had - The whole stay at 31 The Rocks was amazing.
Excellent location close to the Town Centre.
The host Nicci is fantastic. If you required anything for your Villa, Nicci would have it there in no time. Nicci also recommended places to visit, which was a great help. If I could live there permanently, I would.
We’ll definitely be staying there again. The only thing that could have been better was an internet connection.
- Bruce (8/5): -
- Ashleigh (9/5): -
- stephen (10/5): -
- Sean (9/5): Ideal for a short break! - Such a quiet spot, cabin was very well equipped and the manager was lovely Nothing it was great!
- Dan (10/5): - We stayed in Villa 5 which is right at the top/back of the property and is lovely. My young sons enjoyed the walks in the bushland and the wildlife around at your doorstep. The villa itself is very comfy and spacious with everything you would need. We will definitely be back in winter to make use of the fireplace :)
- glyn (10/5): -
- eric (10/5): Villa très agréable - Lieu avec vue sur la nature, calme. Villa très propre et très bien équipée. Wifi difficilement accessible dans la villa
- Kyle (10/5): -
- Jo (10/5): Relaxing and wholesome. Need to stay longer next time. - It was clean, welcoming, very well equipped and stocked with complimentary local produce. Nikki checked in and made sure everything was ok and was so helpful in the run up to the booking. Nothing, it was perfect.
- carol (8/5): -
- Tracey (10/5): Long weekend get away - We really enjoyed our long weekend at 31 The Rocks. Clean, easy to find and little touches that make your stay more enjoyable. Area so quite and had visits from the kangaroos one morning. Lots of seating areas around the property to enjoy also.
Great sunset views and couple small walks around back of property. Definitely do walk one, view is great.
Nicci was great to deal with.
We would definitely recommend 31 The Rocks to our family and friends and happily stay there again. Nothing. Enjoyed it.
- Jeannette (10/5): Lovely - The decor was beautiful very comfortable
Bbq on the deck was great for us
And spotless No ceiling fans
- Madonna (10/5): -
- Melissa (8/5): - The WiFi didn’t work at all- but we got by on 1 bar of 4G
- Cynthia (8/5): Enjoyed our stay but access to unit was difficult … - Clean & comfy & handy location We didn’t realise there was stairs & walking on uneven rock to get into the unit … the unit shown on the add is flat on the ground so somewhat misleading
… wife has had two knee & two hip replacements … so entry & exit from the unit was difficult …
- Louise (8/5): -
- Lesley (10/5): - Beautiful, quiet location. Gorgeous comfortable villa. Wonderful to have breakfast supplied. That we didn't stay for longer.
- Michael (10/5): - Friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic villa set in amazing area with a wonderful short walk to view the sunset
- Candice (10/5): -
- Jenny (9/5): - It was such a lovely day arriving from the city to the country, with birds singing, kangaroos at the door in the morning, and a cosy fireplace in the evening.
Nicci made it welcoming with little knickknacks If I can be picky, the only thing I missed was a coaster for my coffee cup – thank you Nikki, it was a truly enjoyable stay.
- Carmen (10/5): Birders retreat. - Beautiful location with native bushland with lots of birds. The habitat promotes the birds to visit.
The studio had everything we needed to have an amazing comfortable stay.
Must do the tracks on the property.
Will visit again soon. We didn't have anything we didn't like.
- Gary (10/5): Brilliant. - Everything had been thought of by the venue. It was peaceful and quiet. Location was perfect for re charging and chilling out.
Staff were great and very helpful. Nothing.
- Jessica (10/5): - The Villa was amazing. It had everything you needed. The property was beautiful, very quiet, and the walk up to the lookout was great. Friendly helpful staff.

Nicci was a fantastic host.
- Penelope (10/5): - The location to town was great. The wildlife and Kangaroos with their babies was beautiful to sit and watch. The little touches in the villa were great.
- Julie Paul (10/5): most relaxing and enjoyable place to stay - it was a very beautiful place to stay with lots of quiet days watching kangaroos and birds easy to get to and close to town and all kinds of local activities to enjoy tours pick you up from the front door and Nicci is a wonderful host we will be going back there for another stay we couldn't find anything we didn't like
- Todd (8/5): -
- Malcolm (10/5): Cosy and comfortable accomodation in the heart of the beautiful Granite Belt -
- Vanessa (9/5): Wonderful! - Apart from the lovely location and presentation of the villas, they were well equipped. I like the little things that make your stay easier, and there were plenty of those. There was nothing we didn't like.
- POON LEE (8/5): -
- Mcowan (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (10/5): Relaxing environment with great facilities. - Quiet and good facilities.
Enjoyed the walking trails. Nil
- Cheryl (10/5): Peace, Privacy & Perfection - The location was excellent as the property was just a short 3 minute drive from town centre with the added bonus of complete peace and privacy. The outlook from our cottage was outstanding with breathtaking sunsets. The bush walks on the property which featured large granite rocks and outcrops with views over the valley was totally unexpected but truly delightful. The cottage was thoughtfully appointed, extremely comfortable and sparkling clean. Our lovely hostess, Nicci, had gone to so much trouble providing generous continental breakfast supplies and other little extras which just added to an overall wonderful experience. We would thoroughly recommend 31 The Rocks and hope to return again next year. Everything was perfect.
- Allen (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect for a winter long weekend. Every appliance you could possibly need. Log fire warms up the whole place quickly. Cosy and comfortable. Exceptionally well stocked.
- Kerry (9/5): Superb -
- Vanessa (10/5): Thank you Nicci for making our stay a memorable one. You are a magnificent host. You will see us again. - Everything was truly exceptional. Very peaceful and quiet. Everything was thought of to make it an incredible comfy stay. If I could give it a higher rating I certainly would.
- Gillian (6/5): Pleasant, but a fair amount of disappointment. - Pretty surroundings.
The host was very friendly, and did say if we needed anything, to call her, but for a 4 star hotel rating by Booking.com, we shouldn’t have needed to ask for outer room to be made up on day 2 of our stay. Our room was not made up at all on Day 2.
It would have been better to book one night, check out, and rebook for the second night. At least we’d have had a clean tidy room, a made up bed and clean towels, not to mention shower gel, shampoo etc. and tea and coffee items etc. etc. re stocked.
On Booking.com this place has a 4 star hotel rating. It barely made a 3 in our opinion. The settee was extremely uncomfortable. We are not at all over weight, but when we sat on it, we almost sank into it. So much so, that we laughed.
- Sally (10/5): Great getaway - The location was great - kids loved going on the trail just outside villa 5 That we had only booked 2 nights, could have easily stayed longer!
- Victoria (10/5): Fantastic weekend, we enjoyed the beutiful location and warm hospitality. We look forward to returning again :) - Such a gorgeous property! The cabins and the location were perfect, everything exactly what we were hoping for I found the mattress and pillows a little firm but I believe that’s a personal preference and doesn’t effect our positive experience
- Robyn (9/5): Superb - Fantastic place just perfect for a couple and connecting with nature.
Excellence host, could not do enough for us.
- Wyatt (10/5): Exceptional - The villa had everything we needed. Enough space between villas to allow some privacy. The walk to a lookout on the property was amazing.
- Ann-Louise (10/5): - Beautiful space to relax and unwind. Our host Nikki was so wonderful and we loved all the little details in our villa - beautifully decorated, quality products and the landscape made it feel like we were secluded yet only a short trip to the high street
- Amanda (9/5): Lovely, relaxing and well-appointed accommodation - will return. - Had everything we might need plus some. Was close to town, but had the feel of being remote and in nature. A little bit of machinery noise due to some construction next door, but no fault of the owner - she was lovely and came to apologise.
- Desley (10/5): Comfy, private cabins in a natural bush setting a few minutes from town centre - The individual cabins were very private from each other and set in natural bushland, with lots of lovely garden ornaments. There were many nice touches in the cabins to make our stay very comfortable, bathroom heater lights, electric blankets on the bed, well stocked fireplace, fragrant room spray to use if wanted, and frig and pantry stocked with a few essentials. There is a lovely short walk up to a lookout where you can watch the sunset. We enjoyed out stay very much and will return next year Nothing could have been better
- Deslee (9/5): Superb -
- V (9/5): Superb -
- Hamish George (10/5): - We have been to Stanthorpe yearly for the past 5 or 6 years at this time of year.
We live on the Sunshine Coast and love that cool change in the weather in Stanthorpe. Starting a log fire and spending time with your partner...Wineries...Food...and the National Parks.
We have stayed at numerous different places, but 31 The Rocks is the place to stay.... easily.
Close to town, ($12 cab fare), so you can go out for dinner, and return to your Villa easily, and cost effectively.
Nicci who owns and runs the property is professional, caring and knows all about the area.
I cant thank her enough for a wonderful stay.
You will love the well appointed villas.
Cheers Nicci, see you next year.
- Colleen (10/5): A delightful experience in every way! Thankyou❣️ - Quiet and private location.
Spotlessly clean.
Extra touches like candles and fresh flowers in a vase, local produce provided, (juice and nibbles) a complimentary bottle of local wine to celebrate our anniversary .
A separate common room with a large selection of dvd’s, and games to borrow.
- Malcolm (10/5): A perfect place to stay for a relaxed, private, clean and comfortable stay. - We loved the bush setting and the comfort, cleanliness and position of the cabin. It was private, peaceful and had absolutely everything we needed. Nicci is very friendly and on hand for anything you need. Loved the way the property is landscaped and styled with little quirky features scattered throughout the surroundings and the birds who are all around in the trees. Every where you look on the grounds there are little garden features, and natural features of rock and well maintained bush. The guest lounge is a lovely touch. The cabin we stayed in is excellent for mobility challenged, with a reverse cycle heater (much appreciated), wood burning stove and electric blankets. It's very close to the centre of twon and was one of the best stays we've had. We will definitely be back with friends! Honestly I can't think of anything that could be improved. At a stretch...perhaps a lift recliner chair in the 'all access' cabin for those like me who can't get out of lounge chairs easily but that's not necessary. It has everything we could have wanted.
- Pete (10/5): The location is great. You get a secluded feeling which was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely recomme - The villas were very comfortable and the hosts were exceptional.
- Herring (10/5): We loved our stay great stay and enjoy the host very helpful . Will love to visit again thankyou. - we loved everything our stay was peaceful There was nothing we did not enjoy
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stuart (9/5): Superb -
- India (10/5): Exceptional - Nicci was very friendly and helpful, property was very flexible with payment which was very helpful. Rooms were lovely and modern, easy to use fireplace, easy check in and check out. Property was lovely with cute walking trails and places to sit and enjoy as the property and serenity. 2 min drive into town, and is close enough for taxi pickup. Kindly provided a small breakfast, tea and coffee and games in the common room. Very pleasant stay, would recommend this host.
- Heidi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (9/5): Superb -
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noel (8/5): Very good -
- Anthony (8/5): Another happy and relaxing trip to the Granit Belt, with open doors to local eatery and advice. - We enjoyed the location to the bush, walks and quietness of the area. The owner offered fresh homemade bread during our stay which was a bonus and complimented our locally collected produce for the time we stayed. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the onsite walking trails close to our cabin and the afternoon sunset lookout.
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant -
- Melissa (9/5): Superb -
- Leon (10/5): Exceptional - The cabins are well sited within the rocky foothills with surrounding bush, but only a short drive to Stanthorpe, wineries, and National Park. Our delightful host Nicci ensured a top-notch stay at 31 The Rocks, and provided great recommendations on dining and local events. A most enjoyable stay at 31 The Rocks!! No complaints regards our stay at 31 The Rocks.
- Woolrich (8/5): Tranquil setting to rest recharge and take in some incredible scenery - Loved the setting, the villa. The little touches like milk and apple juice in the fridge. The bags of muesli and the teas.
Lovely shower. Super comfy bed. Huge range of DVDs.
Fab walks around the villa.
Only a 10 min drive to Stanthorpe with a very handy cab driver who knows the place well. Unfortunately the WIFI is very patchy. If you have Telstra you will have 1 bar.
That being said if you need to disconnect and recharge it’s perfect!
- Di (10/5): Cosy villa located in great spot close to town and national park - The location is amazing. It is a short drive to the town centre and a 30-minute ride to the Girraween National Park.
The villa was in spectacular condition and you get your own private deck facing a bush area where you can enjoy a meal or a cup of tea in tranquility.
The host is absolutely amazing and helpful. She came out to greet me as I arrived quite late in the dark and we shared a little chat when I was leaving when she recommended some more hiking trails around the area.
Highly recommended! N/A
- Nicola (10/5): A very comfortable villa, great location, lovely spot for cycling. - It was very comfortable, had everything I needed for my stay. Nice gardens below the villa to sit and enjoy a cuppa or glass of wine. Couldn’t get internet in the room.

- Brett (9/5): It was a quiet, clean stay that was an easy stepping stone to the area. - Cosy, well looked after accommodation. Beautiful, relaxing location close to town. Lacking some storage (space for one persons gear). A bigger fridge would have been nice too.
