• John (10/5): All Great - This accommodation was one of the best during our 21 days in Tassie. The kitchenette was a life saver when it came to being able to prepare a few low cost meals. Great location and owners easy to work with. Don't miss going up to the whalers lookout, the highlite of the area. The wine/liquor tasting room is a wonderful 3 minute walk away.
• Patricia (10/5): Perfect apartment in a beautiful town. - WE arrived late but the arrangements were clearly given to access the apartment. Once inside we were impressed by the cleanliness and welcoming note on the table. The place was perfect for us.. right in town but in a quiet location. The beach was a short walk down the road and the shops and cafes of town were on our doorstep. There was room to park the car near the door so no dragging luggage anywhere. Overall we were very happy with everything.

The decor was dated and very 90’s but I highly recommend the accommodation it was very cozy, quiet and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay.. Do your research on opening and closing times of shops and restaurants because the only supermarket in town closed at 5pm I just made it in time but there were a lot of disappointed people who didn’t.

• Kelly (10/5): - This place was absolutely perfect. It was much more spacious than we expected, even with a private outdoor area. Very clean and comfortable. The owners were lovely and incredibly helpful.
• Sheng Keat (10/5): Highly recommended. Spacious, quiet and clean. - Bicheno is a small town with abt 700 folks. The town is quiet but near a lots of attractions. 1 petrol kiosk and 1 supermarket. After 5.30pm, the town is all dark. Buy whatever (groceries) u need early. Bicheno A+ is a wonderful choice. More like air B & B without any make-up room services during our stay. It is ok for us, though. The only thing i feel should be reviewed by Hotel.com is that you should not have deducted from our credit card straight away b4 check- in. We got in early ard 12- 1pm but when i enquired to make payment, i was told it had been deducted from my credit card! Leave to the guest to decide if they might want to pay cash. To me, the credit card is a security for the hotel in case of last minute cancellation by the guests.

• Joy (8/5): A nice basic cabin close to town - A very comfortable cabin with everything provided including a washing washine, very helpful when travelling. A bit dated inside, could do with an update but apart from that we were pleased we stayed there, great value for the money. Bicheno was very busy when we were there in February due to Chinese New Year so try to avoid this time.
• Jill (10/5): Pleasant apartment for a family of 4 - Bicheno A+ Apartments were clean, tidy and pleasantly decorated. There are 2 distinct bedrooms, one with a queen size bed which was comfortable to sleep on and the other bedroom had 2 single beds which our children were happy with. There was a reasonable sized bathroom with a toilet, shower and washing machine. Our family of 4 fitted in very comfortably and neatly. We had good Wi-fi access. The kitchen is well supplied with a good size fridge and microwave. The kitchen however is small and lacks much preparation space but it was still sufficient to cook simple meals. It is only a short walk to the shops where there is an excellent bakery and grocery store. There is a great surf shop only next door. It is only a short walk to the Gulch, the Blowhole and Lookout Hill as well as the beautiful Waub's Bay, perfect for a swim. You can get great woodfired pizza at nearby Pasini's Restaurant. The best coffee would have to be at the Farm Shed just over the road. Despite the apartments being in a dead end street, there was surprisingly a fair bit of traffic particularly with trucks turning into a depot early in the morning. Night time was quiet. Our host, Lisa, was friendly and approachable.

• Colleen (8/5): Nice hotel close to many good beaches - The motel was very comfortable. When the boiler blew up that fed hot water to our apartment the owner hit the phones to persuade an owner/family from another unit to postpone their holiday by a day so that we could have their apartment.

A week into our holiday also appreciated the in house washer as a chance to freshen up our clothes as well as ourselves. Was only a short stay as we were on a whistle stop tour of Tasmania. Wish we could have stayed longer

Room had all the creature comforts of home with great mattresses on the beds, comfortable couches in lounge room and well equipped kitchen, with large fridge. Good sized bathroom. Room was very clean. Upon move-in Lisa was very informative with info I needed to know about the town and shops etc.
• jen (8/5): Convenient location - Lovely host, great accommodation , penguin tour was fantastic great place to stay. Bicheno is a lovely town, the Gulch is a great place for fish and chips, but get there early!

Being near to the Bicheno Penguin Tour is a great advantage as it means we do not need spent too much time traveling back to the apt after the tour at night.

• chris (10/5): A+ Apartments lives up to the name. - One of the best Places I have stayed for the Money. There was nothing that could have been faulted. Was close to everything. Very clean. Everything was perfect . A great place for a small family to stay for a few days. Highly recommended.

• NK (8/5): Lovely property, friendly proprietors - The stay was great, the only downside was the noise, which is mostly out of control of the proprietors. First noise was traffic, lots of people doing uturns in the road. The second was the fridge in the property, the fan was extremely noisy when it came on. Overall a really pleasant stay though, definitely recommended.

Lisa (owner) checked in on us & offered advice on shops/activities in Bicheno. Bicheno itself is quiet, with not a lot to do except see the penguins, but good place to stopover on East coast whilst exploring Tasmania. Cabin contained everything you could need for a self-catering holiday, (Lisa had thought of everything!) could easily have stayed more than one night. Did wait several hours on freezing beach to see penguins, & only glimpsed a couple, so if you really want to see them take the tour, (I get seasick so opted out of that!)

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment. It was very clean and had all the cooking etc essentials we needed. The apartment is located right up from the centre of Bicheno, making it extremely handy.

• Kathy (10/5): Excellent base for exploring the East Coast - Best place we stayed in on our holiday and i wish we had more time to do it justice. The unit was quiet, modern, spacious, clean, and nicely decorated with lots of little homely extras. Lisa, the owner, was friendly and helpful. Its well situated a street back from the main shopping area, 1 minute to the shops, 5 minutes to the beach.
