- Martin (8/5): - Position, parking the car outside and the free two drink vouchers on arrival, the restaurant was lovely Breakfast was great. Drinks were good value Not bad value for money. Note go to RSL get a roast brilliant just down the road. Heating didn't work in bathroom, and I'm not sure what garden view was about, we ordered a sort of pizza and it was not great just a roll with lots of cheese and some mushrooms and one with pepperoni not good value! Just serve a pizza the ovens were just outside. Restaurant seemed expensive.

- Leanne (9/5): Surprised by the quality and brilliance. - The location was convenient, the atomosphere was awesome, the room presentation was a surprise and the amenities were way more than expected. The lack of lighting, was all ambient, with some task but no overall overhead or general lighting which made it difficult for night time repacking. The bedside lights, great ambient lighting, not useful for reading. Otherwise the rest of the presentation and room attributes were wonderful.

A bit noisy in the morning when other guests leave, but then that's to be expected in an old school motel layout. Lots of power points but none near the desk, a bit weird.

- Jane (9/5): This is a very nice property with friendly staff, spacious, comfortable rooms, lots of exterior amenities and a nice res - The room was spacious with comfortable beds and seating areas, & thoughtful extras like herbal teas, chocolate chip biscuits, apples (& toffees at night). Numbered parking spot directly outside our room was convenient (until a random bar/restaurant customer took it instead of parking in the unmarked parking area near the pool). Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. We didn’t use them but the pool and exterior facilities looked great. Our room heating wasn’t very effective at night when it got colder. The unit could be improved with the addition of a full length mirror.

The owner of the hotel was a delight, spending time to talk with us. We were able to keep our bags in reception before and after checking in. The nice office people booked a very reliable taxi when we decided to visit Lake Canobalas.

- David (9/5): The Oriana Orange was a welcome surprise. An excellent place to stay at resonable cost. - I was expecting the usual motel experience where the room is a bland white box with a fridge and microwave. The Oriana Orange by contrast provided a very comfortable bed, and was exceptionally clean and well presented across the room and bathroom. Numerous efforts were made by staff to ensure guests had everything they needed and free extras like milk, bottled water and soft drinks were provided in the mini bar along with good quality teas and coffee. The room was also very quiet for a drive in motel style as the rooms are located away from the road. Food and drinks at the Peacock Restaurant and bar are good quality which is exceedingly rare to find in a motel style hotel where you can drive up to and park outside your room. I highly recommend the Oriana Orange for short stays while visiting or passing through Orange. Very friendly and efficient staff. The interiors were a bit loud for my taste and built in furniture bed head and desk/ wardrobe area in my room was old and dated. Loose furniture was better however. Artworks although by masters like Klimt were mounted posters - it would be nicer if the hotel selected works from good local artists and gave them a platform to gain exposure. Too many strong colours and candles in the Supper Club and bar area - all a bit chintzy. Coffee machine at the breakfast area could be improved to proper cafe standard rather than a domestic machine. Some fresh fruit rather than it all being tinned would be welcome but eggs and salmon were good.

- Jenny (10/5): A fabulous hotel offering the very best of food and wine with exceptional hospitality. - This was my second stay at the fabulous Oriana Hotel . A very comfortable room in a great location but best of all is the hotel’s bar and restaurant. One does not need to drive anywhere! Excellent chefs , excellent wine . The staff at the Oriana are welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend! I can’t fault anything .

- Kris Jenkins (9/5): A sensational resort motel destined to be a regular regional stopover - Loved the facilities available that provided entertainment and eating options. The room was also comfortable and presented immaculately. The additional free local fruit and refrigerated drinks were a great way of giving a personal touch to our stay. Didn’t like the unsealed driveway which was very dangerous, especially as we were riding a Harley tourer motorcycle.

The staff, rooms (&bathrooms), pool and garden restaurant delivered! - This property is so well done - the external grounds are meticulously cared for to make the garden restaurant a beautiful treat. The rooms are clean and comfortable with the hotel including every extra I would find in a 5 star hotel (even a yoga mat). The bed and pillows are 5 star standard too. The rooms and bathroom area very clean. The hotel offer complimentary mini bar drinks and snacks and the bathroom have Mr Smith products. Also, the food (& cocktails) in the restaurant is delicious - the best prawns I've had in a long time. The team here are really giving it some and it shows!!!

Rooms were spacious and had lots of nice touches that made you feel comfortable and more at home including robes and slippers, complimentary soft drinks, snacks, tea/coffee, fresh local fruit, cookies and a complimentary drink on arrivals. On Sundays they offer late checkout until 5pm which I wish I could have made the most of but had a long drive back to the central coast. Room service options were same as dining at the outdoor restaurant and were delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely stay in future Bed wasn’t that comfortable and air con wasn’t too strong but other things made up for it

- meg (8/5): - Staff were lovely, all the extras - minbar, coffee and the outdoor garden restaurant by the pool was wonderful. great food, nice environment and really pleasant. The rooms were older style motle with a revampl and new bathrooms, welcomng, great atmospher and the terrace upstairs was great. But an excellent dinner downstairs in the garden made the tirp I understand the "vibe" of making the pool area adults only after 3.00pm. And it looks great with the cabanas and bar serving the pool area. But perhaps this would be best for wekeends or special events/nights. We had a long drive in January and arrived on a Tuesday afternoon. Our young kids would have loved a swim and no adults were using it, but it was reserved for adults only. Maybe during the week it would be ok to mix? Not a big problem and we had a swim in the morning, I may have just been there during the down time.
