- Rafael Schimidt Ragazzo (10/5): Great stay at Mount Tamborine - Very well located, next to the pub and plenty of options to explore around by car. Room was clean and comfort, kids loved the bunk bed and garden to explore.
- Samantha (8/5): Very comfortable - Loved the grounds and the amount of pillows and towels in the room. The portacot was so handy. The shower floods very easily. There was no breakfast option for guests separate to the public Mother’s Day. Didn’t like that guests smoked outside the doors and the doors and walkways are all close by. We had smoke in our room with our baby from the neighbour
- Kellie (10/5): - The food was amazing Nothing
- matthew (9/5): -
- Brittiny (5/5): - Nice property, good value for money, good location and peaceful. Blood stain on the doona and there were no staff on the first night as it was a public holiday so nothing could be done. A few cockroaches in the room.
- Kristian (10/5): -
- Darryl (10/5): -
- Alani (10/5): -

- Jay (4/5): -
- Wendy (3/5): - Cockroaches & mosquitoes in room, septic tank smell.
- Wood (8/5): - It was quiet
- Andrew (10/5): Just awesome!! - We stayed 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer ,everything from the staff ,location ,food ,cleanliness ,animals was excellent and the landscape was outstanding,I would highly recommend this place to anyone just wanting to relax and recharge 💯%
- Kirsty (9/5): - Very clean, lovely touches in the room
- suzanne (10/5): it was lovely and loved the animals. - it was in the middle of no where nothing it was amazing
- Ulrich (6/5): A quiet night in a motel masquerading as a boutique hotel. - The units face a lovely garden The property is not at Tamborine Mountains but is located 10 km down the road in the valley at Tamborine.
This is not a boutique hotel but is a motel next to a large pub.
- Leo (9/5): - Lieu calme et insolite... dépaysement total.... Cafard et télécommande de la tv hs.....

- William (4/5): Will not stay there again and don't recommend anyone else does. - It offered dining and lodging on site. Had ample parking. The staff that were available at the bar and restaurant were helpful, polite, and professional. Bit out of the way. Lodging was very understaffed. Received a text giving reception hours with alternate location bring bottle shop. Reception was never opened during my entire two night stay, bottle shop did not respond, inquires at the bar resulted in someone checking us in. At 9:30 AM no one was available anywhere to check out or turn in key. If you are too busy to run the hotel, close it down. Found bugs (live) in several locations in the room. Lights did not work in first room.
- Russell (1/5): Very disappointing waste of our 300 dollars - Not much Dirty fridge and glasses no tea or coffee TV didn't work no bath salts will not recommend we paid good money for our valentines night and it really was unpleasant
- Shannon (9/5): Cool place. Definitely need to come back - Great location and pub Nothing
- Ainsley (9/5): An oasis within itself! - Wonderful property with fantastic food at the restaurant!!
Super comfortable rooms with plenty of room! Thoughtfully put together to welcome you. Loved it.

- Julia (9/5): -
- Annette (6/5): Comfortable - The room was mostly pretty clean. The bed was comfy and the chocolates an added bonus. We like the spa bath and bath salts. The bathroom floor was filthy and the room needs more ventilation. Having to find someone to check us in was a pain, had to go into the bar area and wait. Another guest had lost his key to his room and the staff weren’t very helpful. Surely there would be spare keys! If not, they need to cut some asap as it’s easy to lose a key and people are only human.
Also we got woken up at 3 am by our neighbour who sat outside and blasted his phone for an hour. We didn’t say anything in fear of escalating the situation but I did notice no after hours contact for the property. So if you did have any major issues you’d be stuffed.
- Adkins (10/5): We had a really enjoyable stay and I felt like I was able to relax. Such a pretty place. - The setting is absolutely gorgeous...and they have alpacas! We were only staying overnight as we had to go the following day to pick up a ute to drive back to Hervey Bay. The food is very good- we had room service for dinner and the selection is quite large. Very YUMMY! The staff were lovely and so helpful. We will be coming back for sure! Thanks, guys! That we could not stay for longer!
- Mark (6/5): - Loved the room service option available. Close enough to places we wanted to visit. Did not meet our experience of other boutique accommodation we have previously stayed.
- Kris (8/5): Nice, comfortable and convenient location to Tamborine area. - Nice comfy beds and food was good. Smokers in next room. Smell kept coming into room. Disgusting!
- Tayla (10/5): Definitely recommend staying here - So clean and tidy, comfy bed, fully stocked tea and coffee, amazing shower pressure . Staff were so super friendly and helpful between the hotel lodge and over at the pub/bar Nothing!
- Colin (9/5): -
- DARLEEN S (6/5): Was doable stayed in much worse payed situations - Reasonably comfortable
Good service restaurant
Reasonably ok price First night wa horrifying with all the noise and cigarette smoke , so was feeling tired booked again ahead few things to sort pushed through and then found out they do a day fee for late check out or early check if you have not consecutively booked 2 nights together
Lucky enough they chose not to charge this fee which enabled me to relax and buy a dinner
- Kiesha (8/5): Super easy booking process. Quiet and secluded perfect little getaway for a couple needing a night alone - Great vibe, quiet and relaxing great spot to recharge That I didn’t plan more then one night
- Danni (9/5): -
- Jess (9/5): Great stay for the whole family - Loved the bath tub and that it was super kid friendly I wish we could charge meals onto our room and since we stayed two nights we had to request more water regularly. I wish we'd have had it refilled each day.
- Summer (9/5): -
- Marishka (8/5): -
- Mark (7/5): -
- Tia (8/5): We had a lovely break, and appreciate the time out . - The bed was too soft for my hubby as he has a bad back, but I found it ok.
I find the surrounding pleasant and the staff were lovely.
The room is nice. The floor was a bit dirty, needed a good mop.
The bath was not completely clean; I cleaned it before use.
The blinds were not private enough from the outside light
- Chanel (6/5): - Food was amazing We stayed in number 1, we couldn't sit out the front as the smell of the bins was very strong.
- Karen (10/5): - Convenient location. Dinner was excellent in the restaurant. Nothing. Everything great
- Cait (8/5): -
- Melissa (10/5): We will be back. - The live music and meals were excellent. The blinds in the motel room need to be blackout.
- Jade (9/5): - The peace and quiet
- Andrew (8/5): -
- Margaret (9/5): -
- Scott (9/5): Very enjoyable and we will be back - The setting, the friendliness of the staff and nothing was a problem The quality of the food was just OK, I think it would be exceptional with more fresh food, just had the feeling a lot of the components were pre prepared and then heated up . Having said that, everything was edible, just could be better :)
- Michelle (10/5): -
- Colin (10/5): Wonderful - Staff were wonderful. Delightful and peaceful place. Everything we were wanting Nothing
- Cheryl (8/5): -
- DEri (10/5): -
- Xara (10/5): -
- Ananta (9/5): -
- Maree (8/5): - The close proximity to the Hotel. We had planned to attend the cancelled Christmas markets.
- Christopher (10/5): A lovely getaway with great food! - Lovely location! The room service food was the best I’ve had anywhere! Smaller venue so checkin was at the pub, but no real trouble.
- Robert (9/5): -
- Liz (6/5): We enjoyed our short, 1-night stay here at the foothills of mt Tamborine. - Friendly staff. Accomodation met our needs. The property wasn’t quite what we had expected given the description. We had been expecting an older, colonial style pub/hotel, but it was more of a motel style. Some of the residents had an early start which also woke us up.
- Murphy (8/5): - Staff were amazing
- Jody (10/5): Relaxing and unique, Friendly and comfortable - Quiet, modern and very comfortable. Restaurant was uniquely decorated. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Rooms very clean Everything was perfect
- Ellen (10/5): -
- Paul (8/5): -
- Jan (10/5): - Beautiful surroundings, quiet relaxing
Perfect for a getaway from the hassle and bussle of the Goldy .
Great food and staff so friendly and helpful .
Atmosphere in the beer garden was amazing.
Great entertainment.
Will definitely stay again
- Gregory Bliss (9/5): Excellent stay -
- Nikita (10/5): - The bed was extremely comfortable My neighbour was very inconsiderate and coughing and spitting in the garden for about 4 hours while listening to to music next to my window and drinking.
I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my room to go to reception. There is no after hours number to call to have the matter dealt with.
- Debra (7/5): A very homely hotel, comfortable bed, super clean and not cramped. - The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. A short walk to the restaurant was convenient. It was a quiet location right on a rather busy road, however did not hear any traffic all night. I had a few mosquitoes in my room which made it annoying to try to sleep.
- Toni (3/5): - Not too far from where we were No one around at night to check us in after paying at 9pm and saying that someone would be there until 10 pm and got there at 9:30pm and none around so thought we would have to sleep in car but finally someone came about to do security check before leaving and checked us in
- Renea (1/5): disappointed with The Beaded Dragon. - the three (3) Cadbury caramello koalas the food was not what was on the menu. using margarine 🤢 the 14 hour slow cooked brisket was not a brisket and was unable to be eaten. the rooms were completely dirty., black hair all over bathroom floor and toilet seat. mouldy under toilet seat/rim. mouldy on the wooden blinds which smelt horrible. walls wiped over with a dirty greasy rag. battery flat in tv remote. bedside lamps didn't turn on. no light for nighttime when checking car which is parked behind the room. not to mention extremely dangerous spa/shower which was very slippery on spa steps. gardens not maintained. checking in was a hassle, needing to ting someone in either restaurant, bar or bottle shop. sticky tables walks floors and a full dirty ashtray out the front. extremely disappointed. left over water in the coffee machine. 2 normal tea bags, the rest were minted tea. the spa was putrid with mould inside all the spouts as was the kettle 🤢
- Arlene (8/5): -
- Nicholas (8/5): -
- Beckingham (9/5): -
- Samantha (9/5): -
- Tanika (10/5): -
- Hanne (9/5): Great spot peaceful - The colonel style and tavern Nil
- Rana (8/5): Overall it was a gud stay and was a getaway for my husband’s birthday. - Location and the area of the property. Food was very delicious. However, one wait staff was very hospitable and the other wait staff who brought the food on our table was not hospitable at all.
- Daniel (9/5): -
- Justin (8/5): - Great room, loved the incense. Facilities good. Food and beer brilliant I had to kill a cockroach in my room. I understand these things happen though, no big deal :)
- Ryan (10/5): -
- Anna (6/5): - Location was great. Great facilities but didn't get to use them all such as restaurant. Very small room. Didn't sleep well due to room being very light from outside lights
- Jo (10/5): - Location, quiet.
- Overduin (10/5): -
- Kelli (10/5): - Room was neat and tidy. Food in the restaurant was lovely.
- Kevin (6/5): - Bed was comfy Shower soaked the whole bathroom, no smart tv, no netflix, the price of a pint of kilkenny was $17 which is absolutely outrageous. Only for that I would stay again.
- Bensen Bingarape (7/5): -
- Sharlene (10/5): - Beautiful place. Last minute booking and the staff helped me get a room for the night before driving back to Sydney. Loved that it had its own little pub for a feed and drinks.
- Jessica Louise (8/5): - Beautiful charming grounds, cozy room, extremely wonderful and attentive staff, with the pub just across the road for meals and a play area and animal feedings for the kids. The shower floods the whole bathroom and becomes extra slippery- we had to use multiple towels around the shower base to try and contain the water.
But the staff were amazing in brining us extra towels when needed
- Mark (9/5): Home away from home - We love staying at the bearded dragon. It’s like a joke away from home
- Shelley (8/5): -
- Rodrigo (10/5): -
- Tabitha (6/5): -
- Denise (9/5): - Clean and tidy, bed was comfy. It was a nice hotel with great meals and friendly staff Bathroom was always wet due to the spa and shower. Could have used more towels and floor mats. Maybe a wooden mat would suit better
- Lourens (8/5): -
- Nadine (10/5): -
- Margaret (7/5): Pros and Cons - I thoroughly enjoyed the meals and drinks served at the bar and restaurant during my stay; the pork ribs were the most juicy and tender meat I've ever eaten, highly recommend. The staff were friendly and polite. Calming scenery of the land and the heaters outside were an appreciated touch for dining. The jacuzzi worked wonderfully as well. I booked online, a twin room with the description of being bigger than most other rooms and having 2 beds, one was a queen sized bed and the other one was an extra large single bed. When I arrived, I was given a smaller room with only 1 bed.
I couldn't use the hair dryer due to it sitting in water, also a whole role of toilet paper was soaked and unusable when discovering them under the sink in the closed cabinet. Unsure if a hole allowed the shower or bath water to seep into the cupboard.
- Ross (7/5): Good - Shower water flow every we’re in bathroom
