- Fiona (8/5): It was a convenient location and price for an overnight stop over. - It was a convenient stop over on our roadtrip Melbourne to Kangaroo Island. It was clean and comfortable I was travelling with freezer blocks and an esky. I placed the blocks in the rooms bar fridge freezer overnight and forgot them next day. When I realised I rang and I explained the above and said the room number and said I’d call in on my return to collect them. I was told they were not found. Don’t stop by. Disappointed.

- andrew (5/5): Good location but needs a lot of work - Location was convenient en route to Melbourne and late-night check-in was convent felt unsafe. Property is very old and in MUCH need of refurbishment. While the room ‘looked’ clean it felt dirty and we didn’t want to sleep on the linen (luckily had some throws in the car). Was reluctant to use the bathroom and toilet as it just felt old and dirty.

Along the main road and the roar of the trucks was constant all night. Very noisy. No internet. Restaurant was closed on the evening I was there. (Friday). The room, particularly the bathroom could do with a renovation. Perhaps some room rooms at the motel were in better condition, as room I had, allowed for pets.

- lynda (7/5): Old tatty but functional 6.5 rating deserved - Late check in was easy. There was parking onsite as we had a trailer.we came up from Adelaide arrived at 10.30. We brought good for breakfast and there was a good size fridge off the ground which made it easier to unpack the esky. We only brought the necessary in. MIlk IN THE FRIDGE and moccona coffee. Sops and shampoos suppled. Bed fair hate bedspreads and it was hard work gellting nmy legs free.bed itself ok It is old and tatty and depressing. Brown cork ceiling 60s olive tile. Bathroom split basin one side shower and toilet the other. Door to bathroom water damaged. Pointess cedar screen in front of basin and next to the bed. Paintwork ok teo chairs. Toaster and microwave. Mugs some plates and cutlery. Bedside attached to backboard. I sleep on the edge and kept knocking my elbow. Well provisioned and needs updating .very quiet whivh is nice as a traveller and lots of parking.

Room at the back, away from the highway, still noisy with the trucks and quite close to the rail which had a few freight trains during the night Windows definitely need a clean. Our room was clean although the washbasin needs replacing and there was mould all around the shower . Toilet didn't work well. Also would not the bbq. TV was useless. Would we go there again, quite possibly look elsewhere.

There was a comfortable lounge. Quiet location. The room could do with some maintenance, like the door knob on the wardrobe. The basin was peeling. The WiFi information was not correct in the compendium but was blue tacked to the tv shelf.

- Mary (6/5): Just a room to sleep one night - Was conveniently positioned on the way to my destination I didn’t like anything about the property it’s old not clean, there was cobwebs on the bathroom window. Shower tile grouting was moulding. There was dirty towels left from previous guest on the floor on the room there is the hand basin. The bed sheets were clean. The windows curtains were too short there was sunlight coming through what curtains were drown. The only plus of this property is location and definitely over priced for what if is

- Denise (3/5): Very disappointed. The photos don’t match the condition of the room. The reception always looks nice. - Location The furniture and fittings were very old and damaged. The bedside tables were starting to bend downwards. The mattress was so old the springs in the side had collapsed so much I started to roll off the edge. There wasn’t a shelf with the fridge on it that wasn’t very supportive. The towel rail was loose. The basin is in the bedroom area instead of the bathroom. There wasn’t much room in front of the toilet. The shower curtain needs cleaning. There were no coat hangers in the wardrobe.

The room initially appeared clean but when locating the kettle in a low cupboard, there was cobwebs in the cupboard. At night there was lots of small black beetles getting in the room and in the morning when going to have a shower, upon taking the bath mat off the rail, a large black spider dropped from the mat (it may have been a white tail spider). I was very happy I hadn't booked this motel for my return trip.

It is very old, dirty, beds were very low and uncomfortable, the TV is so small you almost needed binoculars to see it, there was rubbish piled up outside across from the room, the carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed for weeks.
