- Chris (9/5): Redearth Hotel made our stay in Mount Isa very memorable. - The rooms were clean, roomy & very well presented. Restaurants were excellent & parking was easy. Nothing
- Sharna (5/5): Average Get Away - Lovely Customer Service. The room was Clean and Tidy. The Restaurant had beautiful food (The Red Earth) only down fall that you have to order rice separately which is such a shame cause you pay $25+ for a meal Facilities were abit damaged, the spa plug had a hole in the middle of it and the spa handle was broken. I wouldnt booked on a weekend, as the music eco through to our room and we couldn't sleep, it was so loud. We ended up leaving at 10:30pm and headed home.

When submitting a request to hotel - no response provided, so request not received. Received a complementary drink for one, limited options) when we booked as a couple. Room was not well kept, water marks down walls, curtains were coming off railing, small bar fridge was not cold, so complementary water was warm, hotel above pub so very noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. For what was rated as a luxury hotel was well overrated - staff were very casual and appeared reluctant to offer service, not very friendly. For the price. There are definitely better options in Mount Isa! Disappointing!

- Smith (7/5): Convenient but allergies were provoked. - The fridge, coffee pod machine. Nice restaurant downstairs. I got really bad sinus from allergies that were kicked off by something in the room. Heave double sided blockout curtains and carpet were in the room, while others it may not affect them, but me, I really had a bad nights sleep due to my nose blocking, sneezing, coughing etc. I need to ask about curtains and carpets in the future, it’s just me, not a reason for anyone else to avoid this place.

The air con was off in both stays, and the window open. There were very bright lights outside this room, fortunately the curtains did a great job blocking the light.

The bed was a double - too small for comfort as we are used to a king size bed, also extra pillows would have been appreciated.

- Toby (7/5): Loved the charm of this hotel - Loved the old world charm of the hotel and furnishings. Fantastic hot shower with great water pressure, nice restaurant downstairs and easy parking. The hallways were a little on the dirty side and housekeeping was noisy early in the morning

Carpets should evidence of high traffic without regular upkeep. Sheets were not cleaned and one of the Aircons didn’t work properly, if at all.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Two day stop over - Room good. Access ok. Council worker started blowing down street leaves at 6:45 AM for half an hour right outside the first morning! Not happy!

- Lance (8/5): A comfortable place to stay to explore Mt Isa. - Location is central and the facilities are quite up market. The rooms facing the main road are very noisy on Friday nights when the pub next door has live music.

- Roderick (9/5): Period elegance in Mt Isa - This is a beautifully renovated hotel in the centre of Mt Isa. Its an easy walk to major attractions and restaurants, as well as having its own in-house restaurant. The rooms are large and nicely decorated in a period style with a very comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom. It was warm and very quiet at night. There is free off-street parking behind the hotel. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. We received a strange email from the hotel when we booked with a link to a suspicious looking URL. I rang the hotel and they said it was legitimate, but Booking.com said to ignore it, which we did.

- Patricia (9/5): Superb - We loved the location for a pair of 70 + years. Couldn't hire a car, which was a bit disappointing. But managed to get taxis for a couple of things we wanted to see. We would love to come back with a car another time. We were a bit disappointed in a few of the meals at the Rodeo bar & grill. Not going to go into it but a bit more care & attention goes a long way.

The property would have been beautiful when first done up but it has been neglected terribly - to the point we had an ask to change our room as the curtains were filthy and hanging off. There was a big hole in the wall and the cupboard wouldn’t open. We were moved to a room that was slightly better. Needs some money spent on it!
