- Hume (9/5): Great food, comfort, staff and cleanliness! - Food was fantastic. Staff service was fantastic. Room was comfortable and very clean and private. Not a lot of parking spaces.

- Cassebohm (9/5): - Staff, food bar service, beds Limited hot water microwave would be good
- Ann (8/5): Comfortable stay away from home. - The location was close to Sandy Bay, Hobart CBD and Battery Point.
The view from my room was fantastic. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Some Easter eggs in my return in Easter Sunday was a lovely surprise. The fridge was generous in size. There was no microwave. The water from the shower leaked through as the shower door was not tight on the bottom at floor level. On Easter Monday, I was keen to do some laundry, but access to the hotel & reception was locked, so I could not enquire about using the laundry facilities. The laundry was locked on Easter Monday as well.

- Phillipa (10/5): - Photos didn't do the room justice, anticipated a cramped stay but was pleasantly surprised Whoever marked the parking bays on the accommodation side did so too short so the disabled park was completely boxed in the corner and inaccessible
- Anne (9/5): The room matched what was described, the staff were really lovely and very helpful and it was very quiet - Surprisingly quiet despite being above the bar and bistro. It was a spacious room with a fabulous view over Hobart. Gorgeous staff The steep climb up the hill from the wharf
- Samuel (10/5): Comfortable and easy - Good location and suited my needs perfectly. Nothing!

- Julie (9/5): Excellent value, great view - There was a beautiful view and a restaurant and bar attached to the facility. It had parking. Great price. It was not really walkable into Hobart city or the water area. Probably on the steepest hill but close and easily accessible by uber.

- Yunjeong (7/5): - Great view, Good value for the money, friendly staff After second night of staying, we asked cleaning. When we come back from day out, the room was left open. Lucky we didn't get anything stolen.
- Tanya (6/5): Pleasant room, clean and modern but pillows and shower need attention. - Quiet, nice view, comfortable mattress, clean and modern. Pillows too hard and lumpy. The shower recess leaked and flooded the floor - needs a rubber strip or similar inside the door.
- McEwen (8/5): -
- Franka (8/5): - Schöne Sicht aus dem Zimmer leider wird kein frühstück angeboten
- Philipp (8/5): Great place to stay. - Convenient, friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable rooms
- Rachael (8/5): Great location - Location is excellent as were staff upon arrival. Room clean and bed very comfortable. Unfortunately in the small bathroom, no lip or barrier on shower screen door, so whole floor was flooded everytime one of us showered. Had to roll the mat up against the screen door to minimise.

- Bonita Marie (10/5): - The location was amazing and the views from the room was breathtaking. The location is very accessible. Although it is up in the hill, it is accessible via bus and a very short taxi ride from the city. In Tasmania, expect lost of slopes and inclines. I did enjoy going down to the city area from the hotel. However, I would recommend going up to get back. For that, you can take the bus and can pay with cash.
- Kaili (10/5): -
- Ram (9/5): Enjoyable stay, with great view and friendly staff. Liked the pub too. - Clean and friendly staff Ammenities not replenished in the 3 days we stayed there.

- Richardson (8/5): Good stay at the Maquis - Well priced for the amenities N/A
- David (10/5): Value for money, central to our travels . - Was top of hill, great views, restaurant and pub attached.
Hill not walkable but with a car a great spot.
Friendly staff, plenty of room in the double. Nothing to dislike,
- Allison (8/5): Perfect for a short stay - Good location, comfortable bed. Surprisingly quiet considering pub below even on a Friday night. Great view. Room was dated, but that did not takeaway from the comfortable room.
- Ray (5/5): -
- daphna (9/5): -
- Frances (8/5): Clean comfortable and close to town - Hotel had good meals Bit short on parking
- Anne (10/5): Happy customers - Staff very friendly, and having a restaurant on site was fabulous. Bed was very comfortable, Wi fi good, guest parking was also good. Close to cafes, hotels and waterfront. On site laundry was also very convenient.Would definitely stay there again. The steep hill when walking back from the CBD. Best option was a cab home.
- Natalia (10/5): -
- B (10/5): A great place to stay - It was a nice place to stay. The staff were exceptional. I also liked that even though it was above a pub, we heard no noise during the night. Nothing really.
- Chris (10/5): - Clean room for medium budget with beautiful view out over Hobart, bar, restaurant downstairs, bottle shop next door, news agency 50 mtrs up the road. Great value, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Located up in West Hobart, quiet, but close enough to CBD. For the budget conscious traveler, I would highly recommend this accommodation if you don't want to pay $300 or more a night in other venues without a view. Thank you to the manager & staff for a lovely 3 day stay and will definitely stay there again next time ❤️👍😁.
- sean (9/5): -
- Narelle (10/5): - The bistro was fantastic
- Helen (8/5): Wonderful - Excellent location The inside hand basin
- Hon Sze (8/5): -
- Katrine (7/5): -
- Sujeeth (6/5): - View from rooms Bit outdated decor
Beds not comfortable
- Siobhan (10/5): - Perfect room in a perfect location.
- Vincent (8/5): - A very comfortable and affordable stay.
- Heather (10/5): - Friendly staff, quiet location, close to city centre. Would definitely stay again
- Sarah Annesley (8/5): Cute place for an overnight stay - View was spectacular. Room was comfy, albeit very small. Okay for one night which was what we needed. Staff were really lovely and it was very quiet. Free wifi was fantastic! Towels were clean and fresh. Room was lovely and tidy. Bathroom was very small, and looked totally different to the photo on the app (which is why I chose this hotel over others) no basin in the bathroom, so we had to wash out hands AFTER opening the bathroom door which felt weird.
Hotel rooms are on ground floor, But accessibility to the bar and bistro is either down a steep flight of stairs or outside, around the corner.
- lodge (8/5): Would do it again with no worries, would be better equipt with my kids tho next time - Was lovely service and beautiful view not far from middle of Hobart Entertainment facility s
- Megan (8/5): Great value, beautiful view - Room was great value for money. Clean and comfortable..
The only downside was the noise when the bistro closed and the bar later as our room was above the main doors. It was quiet all other times so I would stay again but would request a room further from the entry.
- Mark (9/5): -
- Anne-Maree (10/5): - Million dollar view of Hobart and harbour from our room and great price
- jacki (7/5): Our stay was good - In a good area meal was excellent Worth the money
- Travis (10/5): - Friendly staff, easy to check in/out, comfortable clean room, lovely view! Will stay again for sure.
- Cherina (7/5): Great value little hotel - Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Clean spacious room and very decent dining on site. Great views but very steep walk to get back to the hotel from the city!
- Hatfield (7/5): Good -
- Liliana (9/5): Cozy home in Hobart - Very good hotel at a reasonable price, not cheap, but keep in mind that all hotels in Hobart are expensive!
The hotel is not in the center of Hobart, but the area where it is located is very nice and quiet, and also offers beautiful sea views.
I used Uber to get back to the hotel. Uber is pretty cheap here. The ride from downtown Hobart to the Marquis is about US$5. It was worth it because it saves you the trouble of walking up the hill to the hotel.
The room is large and spacious, with a mini fridge to store your purchases... the bathroom is spacious and clean... the bed is comfortable to rest... the weather in Hobart is so delicious that it makes you want to stay in bed all day.
I arrived very early and the room wasn't ready, but they stored my luggage while I went out to explore Hobart.
The staff is very very friendly and helpful.
It has a casino room, bar and restaurant. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m., and there's no one at reception to assist you before then...so if you need to store your luggage with them, you won't be able to do so before then on your departure day...I missed an activity because of this.
- Petra (10/5): - Great service, excellent staff clean accommodation.no permanent space for motel guest. The day troopers take up the space.Thats the only negative.
P S great view.
- Monika (10/5): Exceptional -
