The noise from the surrounds was very minimal, considering KFC is right next door. The best part of the stay were the staff, very friendly, chatty, accommodating and willing to assist. Towel rail has been broken and was half hanging out of the wall.

• Karen (8/5): Friendly staff and walkable to town and beach - Warm welcome to the motel; very accommodating and offered a cot for our little one and further assistance if needed despite us not requesting anything in advance. The king room was great for my partner, me and my toddler. The shower was a great size. Despite being near a busy road, it was very quiet at night and we all slept well. It was a little further from the beach than we wanted (we knew this when booking last minute accommodation) but still everything we needed was walkable. The smell of the nearby KFC followed us around the motel a bit but not a huge problem!

The facilities provided were excellent especially the addition of some crockery and cutlery, often missing from motel rooms. The shower had great pressure and was wonderfully hot very quickly.
• Sophie (9/5): Good weather is a bonus - As soon as I stepped out of the station, I instantly liked this city. Checking in with Jess was a lovely experience — she was friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The in-room continental breakfast is great value at just $9, and my room was very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The botanic gardens are only a 5-minute walk away, and the beaches aren’t far either. Thanks for the great stay — I had a lovely time at the Elm Tree Motel, and the weather was unexpectedly sunny, perfect for taking photos! It's a bit noisy when other quests' car parking..., other than that, no complaints.
