- Sophie (3/5): Book somewhere else - It is in a good location, free parking is convenient and clear simple check in/check out system. I had read the reviews prior to booking, and thought it might be a bit exaggerated, but they were completely accurate.
The place was very dirty - floors didn’t appear to be cleaned well, marks all over the walls. All cutlery, bowls, cups quite dirty with actual food on them. Ceiling fan, Aircon, inside draws with heavy layers on dust. The bathroom also very dusty, obviously just wiped down.
When I initially entered the room there was no drain smell, however there must be a plumbing issue because every day I returned it did smell like old water or something throughout the whole room.
It also didn’t feel very safe as a woman alone in the room. Floor room has access via balcony, the sliding door didn’t lock well, and when I arrived it was actually unlocked. The front door also does not have a latch lock so I was worried someone might break in.
I wouldn’t stay here again and considered booking elsewhere during my stay.

The kitchen was a great space. The laundry within the apartment bathroom was an added bonus. The main bathroom shower was poorly draining and you were standing in a pool of soapy water. There was a lot of dust inside wardrobe and under beds. The outdoor paving was very dirty.

- Marion (8/5): LOCATION TO CONVENTION CENTRE IS PERFECT - Location from the Brisbane Convention Centre is literally a 4 minute walk down the road - perfect. Close to restaurants and pubs. Apartment is big for a one bedroomed and has everything you need, was clean and the check in and parking was simple and well advised prior to checking in. Overall we would stay here again. Apartment is a little old and outdated - but clean.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and having two bathrooms—one ensuite—was a great convenience. The apartment was fully equipped with cooking and laundry facilities, making it ideal for longer stays. Overall, it offered excellent value for money.
The only downside was that the drain in one of the bathrooms didn’t work very well.

- Michael (5/5): This was our second sub standard apartment in Australia booked with Booking.com - Very convenient location to restaurants and city. Checked in to room and had a sneezing fit. The room was full of dust especially under the furniture and under the bed.

Parking a bonus. Was quite noisy but we were by an exit door. The cushions and bedhead were extremely dusty and hand rail in the toilet was not clean.

When coming up the stairs from the parking area having clearer sign of which building is which. There is a bit of wall when coming up the stairs where a sign could be put to say this is building whichever, building such and such etc. There only sign we found was building B with an arrow of direction we walked around a bunch before could even find our building there wasn’t even a reception this way or nothing.

Comfy, large bed with good quality linen. Vast walk through wardrobe between bedroom and bathroom. Fairly well equipped kitchen. Good parking and secure access facilities. Good bonus of a swimming pool and outside area. Rather tired feel to the apartment and a lot of small things needed doing to make it smarter and to have more appeal. It looks a little like new owners have taken over but have failed to tidy up and refresh the space. Old, defunct fittings not removed and some furniture tired and shoddy looking.. For example, in the shower there was an old fitting rusting, the hot tap was loose and difficult to operate and the shower door clasp that held it shut was missing. There were lots of other little things like this that, with a little time, effort and money, would spruce the apartment up so it looked like it does in the photos (which are probably quite a few years old and show it how it was, not how it is). The bathroom extractor cover was caked in dust and the sealant around the shower was old and discoloured. The balcony windows were very dirty and the bedroom window fly screen was broken in one corner with an old, peeling back repair still evident. The balcony chairs were rusty and there was rubbish blown into the corner. The washing machine was supplied with two washing up detergent sachets - not suitable for this. Same problem with the dishwasher.
TV too small for lounge size and poor choice of channels - the only news channel was an Indian one. Insufficient mood lighting in the lounge: no lamps, just down lighters. Only one bedside light.

- Irina (9/5): - This is a lovely property -- the pictures really don't do it justice. The apartment was spacious, the bed was super comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The location is superb -- you can walk to pretty much everything in the Southbank. We loved sitting on the little balcony in the evening and the shared bbq area was very handy. Despite being close the everything, it was very quiet. Will definitely stay again. Everything was great, the only recommendation would be to restock tea and coffee tray -- ours was a bit random and maybe add some salt and pepper packets considering that the place has a kitchen.

- Graham (8/5): - Unit is in a great location, being only a short walk to restaurants, cafes and South Brisbane train station. Spacious, with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. A good size fridge was appreciated, as was good A/C and ceiling fans. The toilet bowl was in a disgusting state, and is in need of replacement. An exhaust fan in the bathroom would be a worthwhile addition.

The apartment was VERY clean.
The sheets were sublime :). Needed an extra armchair as the sofa was taken up as a bed. The sofa bed wasn’t great, my 16 yo daughter had to sleep on the edge of it, comfortably, but just as well that she is slight.
Also, there didn’t seem to be enough fresh air into the apartment (it was the way it was situated, so that couldn’t be helped), and I had to sleep with the aircon blowing on my face (it was where the aircon was as positioned) all night and when I got home I had a little cold, I don’t do well sleeping with the aircon on. Otherwise the place was wonderful! I’d like to go back in July or at the end of the year with my older Son’s, when they finish Uni. But I might ask for an apartment that is at the top, to catch a breeze :). Thank you.

- Susan Dalby (8/5): Fine place to stay but check in was so difficult I wouldn't return - Clean tidy room with access to a courtyard. Excellent air conditioning and great king size bed. Included a fridge and microwave. Felt safe.
Check out was easy. There were lots of pre instructions including questions that I didn't have the answer to including car rego number which I didn't have because it was a hire car. The whole process was messy and I didn't finish it but that didn't seem to matter.
Picking up the key was difficult. On arrival I had to drive around for 20 minutes to find a park on the street and then walk up to the venue to collect the key (note that the key itself tells you what your room number is) - so that I could then walk back and get the car to park it underneath the venue.
