• Janise (8/5): Very nice, quiet, fairly new motel with good food. However, its expensive and there's no lift. - The motel is fairly new, the room was a good size and comfortable. It was also very quiet, which was a surprise given the localtion. Dinner food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service. Its expensive, there's no lift and restaurant food was very slow from time of order to getting meals

• 131deea (10/5): Great place to stay. - A great location for exploring the Hunter Valley. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff excellent and the food was excellent. This was our first stay at the Remington but it won’t be our last. If you are going to Muswellbrook I would highly recommend staying at the Remington.

• 958lyndaa (10/5): Fabulous - Not much that I can add that others haven't already. Excellent from start to finish. Receptions staff so friendly, room large, clean and well appointed. Given its proximity to a very busy road it was remarkably quiet in the room. The bed was exceptional and I slept so well. I din't want to get up in the morning! Will absolutely return.

The staff are incredibly friendly and supportive, making you feel right at home. The food is absolutely delicious—definitely some of the best around! The facility is clean and in a great spot, and the rooms are well-kept and equipped with everything you need. Just a little heads up—the bats can get a bit noisy sometimes, but hey, it’s their home and colony in Muswellbrook! 😊

The rooms though not huge were spacious enough for our needs, very clean and good beds. Has a guest laundry on-site and the best restaurant in the district, by a country mile. Had the best meal of our three week holiday, with good prices and a view to the novelty of a flying fox Grove just over the fence. The restaurant was not open on the Sunday evening but there are plenty of options for a meal in town. The accommodation price included a very good continental breakfast, which we took part in on our last morning. Staff were very helpful and friendly and there is ample free parking too.

• David (2/5): Disappointing. - We came to Remington because of great service and restaurant previously received. There was no reception and no restaurant. You want us to come to the country for periods like Easter, but you offer no facilities to allow us to spend money in your town. Very disappointing.

Evening meal in restaurant was lovely. Waitress was exceptional. Room clean. Parking is tight. Bats in the trees outside hotel are a strange sight.

Only hotel I have stayed in for months who do not provide water. We had decided to stay at the Remington, not only for their fabulous rooms but also because of their restaurant. It was disappointing to find the restaurant not open for dinner. The thing that upset our group of 7 was that no one was contacted at least a few days earlier to advise us of this. Poor communication for something that was quite important for us, as it had been recommended to us by a number of people.

The rooms were so quiet that we presumed that the adjoining rooms were empty, but that was not the case. The comfortable bed and block-out curtains made sleeping so easy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was meticulous. The dinner was superb, absolutely 5 star. We have travelled extensively and the quality and presentation of our meals, along with the wait service was on par with any other fine dining experiences that we have had.

NO lift to the second floor :(. The buffet breakfast choice was limited. The only fresh fruit was a whole banana or apple. Cut up fruit etc was of the prepackaged variety. The buffet was NOT replentished. Not good enough for a 4 star rating. The music during dinner was an excellent choice but it was way too loud. Sorry.

Only one chair to sit in apart from the desk chair. However, a very helpful staff member, Mackinnon, got us one from the dining room, she also taught us how to cast Google Chrome so we could watch Netflix.
• robynpP5390MI (10/5): Comfortable and Quiet - Very comfortable overnight stay. Although located on the main road, the rooms are sound proof and very clean. The air con is quiet. Our room had the reserve outlook which has a historic bat colony and we found interesting to watch. Bathroom had all amenities and a shower hose nozzle. Our rate included a continental breakfast which was substantial including beautiful cakes and a barista. The staff are very friendly too.

• BRIAN (10/5): Hotel staff provided excellent and friendly services then responded superbly to an unexpected difficult situation. - Everything. Most particularly the lovely and professional staff. When I was unexpectedly hospitalised in Muswellbrook then Maitland they couldn’t have provided better help to my wife who has mobility problems. They ensured she had a good breakfast, packed our luggage into our car for her and refused to charge a late checkout fee. Nothing.
