The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like the pictures, romantic, French provincial. It was a great location for our day trips along the range. And lastly, the breakfasts are just wonderful, with fresh produce, local products and free range eggs. Honestly, we did not have to eat until dinner after eating breakfasts. Would absolutely recommend you stay here! It would be cozy in winter with the fire in the rooms and looking out over the range.

- Gordon (10/5): A quiet retreat set in green rolling hills - 10 years ago my wife and I were married at the Spotted Chook. I think at the time we were one of their earliest weddings. We've been back a number of times since then, most recently for our 10th anniversary. The place is just as wonderful and relaxing as it was back then. Leeroy and Jane are the perfect hosts and take care of their guests as if they were family. The rooms are beautifully maintained with milk and coffee making facilities provided. The included breakfast is fantastic and includes a range of freshly baked muffins and egg dishes all prepared on site. The Spotted Chook is located close to the heart of Montville and only a short drive to Maleny and Mooloolaba. We will be back again next year and can't wait. We can't recommend the place highly enough!

The accomodation was lovely and felt very homey and comfortable. The views were stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The room layout creates a sense of privacy for all and is furnished with elegant detail. The shared living spaces are the best I have ever experienced in a B&B - private, unique and with views. Our hosts were relaxed, friendly and truly cared that we enjoyed our stay - professional but still the personal touch. This was a great two-day break, made all the more special because we stayed at the Spotted Chook :)

The rooms are spacious, quiet, comfortable and full of character; there are many lovely common spaces with comfortable seating and spectacular views; the breakfasts are lovingly prepared with great Montville coffee and excellent variety each day; and the hosts are most helpful and delightful company. And there are indeed spotted chooks on the property.

A nice quiet place on 5 min.drive away from a bustling Montville. We stayed in a room called snowpea The interior of the room design is refreshingly diffrent. Top marks to the place.
