- Nicholas (9/5): The Sebel has beautiful quality apartments. - The apartment location on the Vines golf course was excellent. The kangaroos in front of our apartment and on the course were a real bonus and a treat. We had trouble finding reception when we arrived and took much longer to work it out than we should have. It’s a very long walk from the Sebel apartments to the Novotel and not well sign posted.
I don’t recall us being told to go to the Novotel reception to check in.
There was sand on our balcony when we arrived which got walked into the apartment and as the rooms don’t get cleaned for a 3 night stay I needed a broom to sweep it up, luckily I found a cleaner one day.
- Linden (7/5): Interesting - Location
Staff where great working through our numerous issues Spikes in my feet between the carpet and tiles.
Lack of bath robes
Other issues
- Melanie (10/5): Happy with our stay. - Apartment was clean and well appointed. Finding reception was a challenge, perhaps a couple more signs showing the way would be good given it is quite a walk from the apartments.
- Natalie (5/5): - The two swipe card entries to your room. Very hard to navigate with luggage. The upstairs chairs dragging on the floor constantly not very sound proof.
No information on booking in at the Vines Reception had to walk to find it, as parked at Sebel.

- Margaret (8/5): Was a lovely weekend stay - What a fabulous resort. The view over the golf course was spectacular It was noisy with doors banging and loud visitors
- Karen (10/5): -
- Carly (9/5): - Very comfortable accommodation, close parking Unable to order room service
- rosalie (8/5): Bad finish - The site and facilities were great Our belongings left behind were apparently not in lost property with no followup

- Rhiannon (8/5): Nice, big property. - Mini golf The toilet in the master bathroom ran continuously. Breakfast too expensive for children. Need another option
- Sarah (9/5): Wildlife stay with golf and a comfortable bed! - Absolutely beautiful stay - modern studio apartment on the golf course, with wildlife in your door step! Only thing I disliked was the reception to check in to the Sebel was hard to find!
- Greg (8/5): - Recently renovated and very comfortable
- Christine (10/5): - Spacious and beautifully set out More shade over the pool would be good
- Susan (10/5): -
- Annelien (10/5): It was a very pleasant experience and I will definitely recommend it to anyone. - Beautiful and serene. Very clean. Everything you need is in the room.
- Hazel (8/5): - Location, facilities Nothing
- Tracy Adams (9/5): - Views, quality of furnishings, nature
- Carla (10/5): -
- Tracy Adams (9/5): A great resort for family short stay - Spacious Apartment with views of golf course and nature, quality and comfortable furnishings, large shaded balcony, The stairs to second floor were difficult for elderly and children to use.
- Loren (6/5): Overall it was a passable stay, however not convinced we will return. - Facilities were nice and reasonably well maintained in most areas. Beautiful view of golf course. Sally and Enya at the front desk were very warm, helpful and efficient. Property wasn’t very clean - couch and floors were dirty. We were entitled to a mid stay clean but it never happened. There was dust and some maintenance issues. Sliding doors not working.
Some staff were rude and unhelpful, requests ignored twice, once for a room service food order and the other for following up the mid stay clean.

- Sharna (9/5): - Our apartment was lovely and we were very happy with our stay. The resort and facilities were exactly what we hoped for during our mini vacation with the kids. The buffet breakfast was excellent and a highlight of our trip. The only minor inconvenience was that our room had just two pool towels, which was a little tricky for our family of four. The only real downside was encountering unwelcoming and unfriendly staff in the pro shop when paying for our mini golf game. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.
- Greg (9/5): -
- DANIEL (10/5): -
- Darin (8/5): - Good Restarant Food was ok.
- Radek (9/5): - every thing was great it would be better if i played golf , the stay there was excellent the distance between the dinning room and where the room was, it took us 5-10 min to get there (as we are over the hill) anyway the walking stick came in handy..
- Elizabeth (9/5): Convenient for what we wanted. - Breakfast finished too early so didn’t have it.
Evening meal at cafe was very good.
Staff very helpful and pleasant Would have booked a downstairs room if realised only stairs. Age and knees made difficult to negotiate.
- Ritvik (4/5): Unfortunately disappointing, but facilities were good. - The facilities were quite good, and it was nice seeing the kangaroos on the golf course. The gentleman who worked at reception from 7:00-7:30 on Monday is incredibly condescending. It was the morning after I checked in and I did not know where the breakfast restaurant was (also was pouring rain so not like I could explore) and I was asking where I could get a quick bite. He was saying "yes the restaurant has been opened for half an hour now. It is right there" whilst rolling his eyes as if I am an idiot. I did not ever expect great customer service, but please do not be rude to guests, we are not your friends, just help us.
- Djuna (8/5): Lovely apartments great location and a lovely stay for the entire family - Loved being in the golf course and seeing the kangaroos & it has a great pool for the family Unfortunately their are homes being built on the golf course which we were not aware of and it meant that there was building noise that we could hear early in the morning through to the afternoon. We therefore did not use our balcony which was a real shame. I’m not sure how long it will take to complete the homes being built but I would advise other guests. We stayed in room 325 on the first floor and I would say it would impact at least 8 of the apartments that were on that side of the golf course best to let guests know in advance. We don’t like to complain but did mention it to ACCOR and the hotel but the homes are nothing to do with the Novotel or Sebel so nothing could be done. I think if we had been informed we would have stayed at the Novotel and not the Sebel to be away from the noise. Such a shame. My husband was very disappointed. However the apartment was great and for that I was very grateful for.

- DENNIS (6/5): Not Good at all! - Better Service from staff at the actual Sebel call centre Melbourne! A few issues upon checking in.
1. No information as to where is Reception ( no signage at.
2. I have to walk to the other end of the Sebel car park to find the Reception in order to check-in.
3. The walk was 20 minutes! Basically across the massive Gold Course!.
4. The request room was an Access room! As my husband cannot climb or walk the 20 steps up to second floor. So reception kindly called Sebel contact centre Melbourne! After long conversation with the person (30 minutes to be exact!) He blatantly told ne to go and count the stairs/steps to see if my husband
can actually take the stairs! So by this time I am so stress that I almost was crying with frustration!
4. At this time Accor Reception who managed the check-in for Sebel, intervine and spoke to the male staff who would bother to help me! The reception worked her magic and only then that I got upgraded to lower floor accomodation.
5. If this is the Sebel groups way of service! Then I don't want to stay there at all.
6.FYI! there was 6 other couples that have the same issues and from what thier commemts are not good at all.
7. Arrived at the Sebel address at 2:30pm finally got into out at 4:45pm W.A time.
8.The longest check-in I ever experience.
- Carrie (8/5): Awesome place to stay - The free flowing nature ducks kangaroos the peacefulness Car parking bays small
- Dhruti (2/5): Wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here. - Cockroaches in the rooms.
Had to call an over east number to change rooms or for any queries, the property doesn’t even have a physical reception where you can get help. Note that the over east number was always busy and you had to leave a voice mail to get a call back. Not forgetting the time difference. Nightmare to deal with when it came to issues to resolve.
Changed rooms and the other room still had insects. Had to end up leaving as the only option to resolve the pest issue they gave us was to keep spraying. I don’t think that is acceptable solution when you have a baby staying with you.
- Kate (4/5): The room was lively and walking distance to the cafe and restaurant but the restaurant was a major disappointment. - We were given a ground level apartment which has nice. There wasn’t a dustpan and broom, only a sweeping brush so couldn’t pick up debris. The moisturiser container was empty in the bathroom.
- James (10/5): -
- Heather (8/5): Convenient - Clean Noise from next door’s room
- Shiyu (10/5): -
- Kerstie (9/5): - The comfort of the apartment Have to walk far to get ice.... couldn't find ice machine in Sebel Apartments complex.
- Johanna Cornelia (7/5): - Grote kamer Geen uitzicht.
- alan (8/5): -
- Rhonda (9/5): enjoyed our staff - property was great great location one staff member mature, older very rude
- Simon (10/5): -
- Patricia (9/5): -
- Emma (10/5): 3 night stay over Christmas - We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment over Christmas for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The apartment was so spacious for our family of 4 and even having my parents over for Christmas dinner, there was plenty of space for us all. The views from our balcony over the golf course were lovely and it was a short walk to the pool and other facilities.
- Paula (10/5): Excellent value for money - Check in was simple and quick.
Lovely staff and clean room The property was great
- Johnny Clive (10/5): -
- Gemma (7/5): Has all the potential but a sad state on service. - The room was modern, clean and generally lovely. Had games and good facilities. The tv did not work properly. The pool area was covered in Aperol marketing and did not sell it. The food was average. Service in general was pretty poor.
- Craig (9/5): -
- Joanne (8/5): -
- Rochelle (10/5): Perfect - Newly renovated. The Sebel staff in particular Mia were amazing. Went out of her way to make my birthday special
- Nerwin (8/5): -
- Xing Yee (10/5): We love this place - This is the best place we have ever stayed in.
Tranquil, spacious, and full of working facilities.
We could be totally self sustainable with the fully functioning kitchen and laundry. No funky smells and beds were so comfortable. Then there was the pool! And the nearby golf course where we could see the nearby (calm) kangaroos everyday! We could wake up to the birds chirping! (We come from a bustling stressful city so this is a perfect, welcome change). Perhaps for those who need assistance, living on the first floor would be an issue as there were no lifts and we had to carry the luggage up. No issue if you are younger.
- Callum (10/5): -
- Peter (9/5): -
- Natalie (8/5): -
- Tina (10/5): - We were blown away by the apartment, exactly like the images, modern, and close to shops. Children love the board games and we could see the kangaroos on the golf course. Quick walk to the pool and mini golf was a bonus!
- Gould (6/5): Nice place, good location, service could be better - Good location, clean and tidy, though I thought we were closer to the pool and putt putt. There was no record of our booking when we arrived. And as the Novotel handles check ins on behalf of The Sebel, it took well over an hour to resolve. We were not aware of this when we arrived, and so turned up at the back of the resort, not at reception. We received prolonged and poor service from The Sebel staff, once we finally were able to contact them, and a half-hearted apology received via Novotel staff.
- rachel (8/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): We were very happy to stay at the Sebel and will definitely stay here again - The property was well maintained and the view was amazing. There was only one bed to fit four people. Also, there was not much room to store our clothes.
- Jemma (10/5): -
- Philip (7/5): Swan Valley - Location Poor service, limited cocktails, no staff around when you needed one
- Kellie (9/5): -
- Debra (9/5): -
- Brooke (10/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): Good accomodation in a pleasant resort environment. Absent servicing from SSVtV. - Nice accomodation in a resort style location.
Food services on-site. Very poor servicing from the Sebel Swan Vealley the Vines (SSVtV). Unable to contact the organisation/receive return calls and no one available on-site to advise regarding book in procedures. We had to rely on the staff from the Novotel (who very good) to initially guide us by 'phone across the resort site to their book in/reception facility. Novotel undertake administration for SSVtV. No obvious instructions or signage arranged by SSVtV to assist their customers.
- Jemmia (8/5): -
- Beth (9/5): Great property! - Rooms amazing
- Beth (9/5): -
- Lydia (10/5): -
- Christina (10/5): -
- Kristal (10/5): - It was a beautiful and relaxing experience
We would definitely stay here again.
- Christy (6/5): Nice suite, expensive facilities - The gym was amazing for a hotel gym great range of weights and equipment, great mini golf course although $23pp was expensive, we expected it to be included for hotel guests. Charging for toilet paper on checkout was very disappointing, i don't feel that is an 'extra'. Breakfast was average especially for the price and we were disappointed to see restaurants were closed as they wasn't advertised on booking.
- Jamie (8/5): - Bathroom sink has a blockage meaning that water is very slow to drain away. Toilet plunger also gets stuck meaning toilet not refilling
- Kaydea (10/5): -
- Anthony (1/5): I come to Perth regularly and I wont be staying at Sebel - N/A N/A
- Debbie (9/5): Very enjoyable would recomend. - Modern very clean neat tidy.. and rooms were secure and easily accessible. Maybe being picky the mattress on main bed was not one of those no partner disturbance ensembles. So was less comfortable than some we have slept on. But despite this bed linen was good quality and ensuite toilet supplies provided were nice and pleasant. Well cared for and a enjoyable stay. 😊
- Andrew (8/5): - The view was amazing. Room size was great. Very clean. Staff very friendly. Arrived late at night and as google maps put us beside apartment was very hard to locate reception as complex lighting is low and signage hard to find and reception is at Novotel on other side of complex, but once booked in was easy. If a note was in booking information about signing in would be good.
- Derek (8/5): -
- Elaine (10/5): -
- Donna (1/5): Terrible, don’t do it - It was in a beautiful location The noise was unbearable and the walls were paper thin we checked out the same day we checked in. Hoping to get a refund. Severely disappointed. A weekend away wasted. Noone could help. There is noone to speak to on the weekend. The reception is a different hotel and they can only take payment and check you in/out.
- Sara (9/5): -
- Yuen (5/5): it was alright - the apartment is brand new; kangaroos from the balcony were spectacular. checking in was a hassle because you actually needed to check in at Novotel. we stayed for 6 days and amenities were not enough - if you're lucky, you can get through the reception and ask for a top up. even though the apartment is new, we discovered a row of nails hidden in the carpet which can be dangerous for our toddler. however, the staff acted fast and removed them after we feedbacked to them. after checking out, we were asked to pay for our stay even though we have already done so online. I think it would be better if Sebel and Novotel can strengthen their internal processes and communication
- KOK HENG MARK (4/5): Ideal for golfers and vacation during summer - The Studio is clean and with a good quality mix of kitchen equipments . Our studio seems newly built and its reception location is not clearly marked from the other parking. , As we arrived rather late ,the whole place looks dark and empty with kangaroos around .
Our unit at 2nd level without lift ..
