Guest Reviews
- Catherine (8/5): Lovely short stay, beautiful accomodating staff, restaurant great also. - Loved the spacious room, the little sink in the room and beautiful comfy bed. Special shout out to Josh who carried my bag upstairs (I’m in a moon boot and there’s no lift), with a lovely smile. I knew about the shared bathroom, but forgot that the room may not have a toilet. My mistake, but Room 1 is the opposite end to the bathroom, so middle of the night trip was a trek.

- Craig (8/5): - A bath! Well equipped shared bathroom. Good security and out of hours guest access. In room amenities very basic, TV way too small to view from bed, no chair in the room. Poor parking area, unsealed and muddy.
- Rhonda (9/5): A good option for I night stay - Close to where our function was Shared bathroom but we knew that when we booked

- Katrina (9/5): Great comfy stay perfect for what we wanted as wedding close by. - Room nice and spacious and liked its presentation. Close to bathroom, bathroom was great lovely and spacious, Great having key to get in after hours. Good bed comfy. Carparking could have been better, was lucky someone left and we ended up near the entrance.

- Glen (8/5): great location and I would recommend for only a night or two. - This is right in the middle of town and just minutes from every restaurant and other attractions. It is a very old hotel in years so the boards creak and the decor is older but OK. The restaurant and bar area are very good and the food was of high standard. The assistant manager was very helpful and allowed us to lock our E-bikes up in the outdoor area which was much better option than leaving them on the car. The hotel actually tells you that it can be noisy and gives you ear plugs if you need them. It was just the bustle of the bar area which quietened down later in the night and the traffic noise starts around 6am and can be heard. Parking can also be a bit trick as they prioritize the staff at the hotel to park there and the patrons are encouraged to park else ware which I thought was strange when your lugging bags.
- Donald (10/5): - Beautiful old pub with original timber staircase, wooden floors, large room, king bed, luxury linen. The bathroom at the end of the hall has a choice of tub or double shower.
The dining room is all original timber. The food was great. Nothing. If you feel you NEED your own bathroom, go elsewhere. Otherwise. Fantastic.

- catherine (8/5): A fun experience - Unique atypical hotel. very clean, excellent location, nice pub with garden and music, common bathroom but very clean No lift .only one floor but not convenient with heavy luggage.
No breakfast on site
- Kay (9/5): Unique pleasant lodging in central part of town - Central location in town, free parking, friendly staff, vintage building, shared bathrooms not a problem Music until 10pm from cafe on property could be annoying if early to bed but ear plugs provided and pleasant to listen to when ready to enjoy
- Julie (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, great shared bathrooms
- Leone (9/5): Healesville stopover - Large rooms, very clean and close to everything Little bit of music base in rooms but stopped at 10pm and they provide earplugs

- Amanda (8/5): A cozy, character filled stay in a great location . worth the price and I’d definitely come back!! - I liked the comfortable room, the charming and relaxed atmosphere & the very clean shared bathroom. The hotel’s architecture with its high ceilings, timber floors, and long corridors, gives it a lot of character and makes it feel unique.
I also enjoyed having lunch at the hotel!! The food was good. The central location was convenient and made it easy to explore the town. It was a bit noisy in the afternoon but it was very quiet at night so it wasn’t a big issue..
- Annie-Rose (10/5): A sweet retreat in the heart of town - The details felt thoughtful and with the comfort of the guests in mind. Bed was so comfy and I impressed with how many blanket choices there were! It was also lovely to spend some time in the beer garden on a Saturday afternoon. Seems a place both travellers and locals love to go to. Would love to stay again when I’m next visiting healsville.
- Roland (9/5): - Shared bathrooms but it’s not a problem and there is plenty

- Andrew (10/5): Great place to stay. - Really enjoyed staying in the Healesville Hotel. The room was spacious, and although the bathroom was shared, it was lovely and clean, with a sink in the room. Being summer, we also made use of the guest balcony. The room was super comfortable and well-appointed. A small thing, but I could not get any streaming apps on the TV, and being in the valley, the TV reception was a bit patchy.

- Rebecca (9/5): Lovely stay at a historic hotel - A very good price for where it was. Deluxe king room was very spacious. Bed was comfortable. You just need to keep in mind. The bathrooms are down the corridor. Fridge and other facilities not exactly high-end in the way they were positioned and encased, but a very small thing for a reasonably priced stay
- Melissa (8/5): - Loved the high ceilings and how the rooms were styled. Bathrooms were beautiful. Smell from kitchen/oil going upstairs.
- Carmen (10/5): -

- farrow (4/5): Overpriced bare essential - Good outdoor entertainment area. Beautiful meals. Clean linen and tidy rooms. Very loud, thin walls, creaking floors. Uncomfortable beds, musty smelling rooms. Venetian blinds, light filled rooms from sun up.
- Angelo (8/5): - Location Bathroom not in room
- Kevin (9/5): Brilliant. - The room was exactly as it was in the photos. It was in the centre if town close to everything. Nothing
- Gabriel (10/5): We would've loved to have stayed at the Healesville hotel for longer than a single night! - Friendly staff, a beautiful building and its interior including the bedroom and bathrooms. Everything was spotless, the bedroom was spacious and very cosy. The building couldn't be better located. Also, the complimentary drinks at the bar were as unexpected as they were welcome!
