Clayton (10/5): - Big apartment. Close to everything. Excellent staff and pricing was reasonable. Mostly new fittings and fixtures and very well equipped kitchen. Only faults, which were relatively minor in the scheme of things were, no aircon in bedrooms (has fans though and great breeze from the ocean) and car park was tight. Still 5 stars.

Shower in ensuite floods told to use other shower.Had 2 guys in hoodies appear on balcony early morning and frightened me. Manager had no compassion said it was posted all over website. Which it wasn’t only painting being done and pool no to be used. Claimed work was on Wotif and wasn’t. Was told what do you expect when you pay a cheap price and they can afford to rent out at that price. Have had many great stays over last 10 years but won’t return.
Di (10/5): - This property is absolutely beautiful. Huge, beautifully fitted out with everything you could need or want. The owners have made an effort to provide some luxury. Views over the beach were lovely and it is within walking distance of lots of cafes, restaurants, etc. The walking path along the beach and around to Coolangatta was great.

Tess Louise (10/5): - Sub-penthouse apartment: Amazing view. Washing machine ordinary but fine for holiday use. Spacious, with a variety of books and games, we were also happy to find a decent vacuum cleaner in the laundry. Couches are quite comfortable, beach and restaurants an easy walk away. The complex’s pool, spa and table tennis were a perfect consolation for us during the unusually rainy weather we experienced (when the ocean was a no go with young children). The reception staff were also friendly and helpful.

sheilaghs333 (8/5): Perfect location - Very centrally located lots to do within walking distance cafes restaurants surf clubs Unfortunately there was a building under construction next door and as always on the Gold Coast the rubbish collectors and gardeners are on the job ridiculously early The apartment was your typical high rise set up and if your lucky enough to be on one of the higher levels you have an amazing view of the beach The ladies at reception are wonderful and yo above and beyond expectations to accommodate any request you may have Will definitely go back there again

Location is amazing across from beach, cafes and 7/11 just down the road. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very good value for money! Small dishsoap, laundry powder etc provided, well equipped kitchen with plenty of cutlery glasses /plates. TVs netflix and free wifi. Dishwasher and laundry in apartment. nice an quiet at night time, not a party scene- relaxing place for a holiday Improvements- update info book. no outside light switch on balconies no scrubbing brush for dishes. Would definitely return an recommend to others wanting a relaxing beach holiday.

It was a quiet building with no noise, except from the construction site next door. The rooms are large, bright and airy and had everything we needed. It was lovely to walk across the road to the beach or just down a block or two to the shops. The undercover parking was very appreciated as was the pool and spa. I'd encourage people to check it out!
Katherine (4/5): - There was construction on two sites surrounding the hotel. This began at 6.50am each morning. When I spoke to the hotel reception I was told there was no way I would have been able to hear it and that it must be a problem with my own ears. It was terribly noisy and there should have been some sort of warning that this was going to be the case, I would never have booked if I had known. Being woken to banging and drilling before 7am is not a holiday. Please advise what kind of compensation can be offered. I have a video time stamped 7am of the noise if you need me to send it through. Look forward to hearing from you with a resolution asap.

Our apartment was a little tired, e.g. air conditioner didn't work, curtains coming off the curtain rod, no shelf in the shower for soap, rusty toaster. The Apartment was clean and you paid for the view The main bedroom the bed was hard as rocks as was all the pillows The swimming pool was out of action which was very disappointing. As pay top dollar s to stay there On our floor there was a lot drilling from them renovating one of those apartments very early in the morning No I wouldn’t stay here again wasn’t worth the money we paid You have to be honest so people don’t get over charged

Sam (10/5): - I recently stayed at the Meridian Tower and it was fantastic. The staff were welcoming and attentive from the start, making check-in a breeze. My room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and had a very comfortable bed. The hotel's beachfront location was amazing and the team provided great recommendations for food and exploring. Overall, a luxurious and memorable experience. Highly recommended!
Verified traveler (6/5): Certainly not my favourite - View was good from 8th floor and location ok but parts of the unit need a deep clean (mould in both washbasin plug holes and around most of the windows) and built up grime in corners. Also badly in need of an upgrade all over. Very disappointed.

It’s a short stroll to the beach & a 15 min walk to the nearest Woolies in where you pass a lot of restaurants so there’s no shortage of food options in the area.
Lesley (8/5): - Lovely view of the ocean, spacious, bathrooms and kitchen in good condition, (but no condiments), reasonably equipped. Starter pack i.e. rea, coffee, milk and sugar not supplied. No air- con in main bedroom, only fan.

Gina (8/5): Top Spot - It was a pleasure to stay here. The pool was used twice a day everyday especially with the granddaughters, as was the tennis court. Beach is just across the road and so are eateries and pubs. So close to everything. The only suggestion I would make is that the cleaners clean the ceiling fans and sliding doors as they were a little grubby. We will stay here again.
Blaine (4/5): - A set of curtains was on the ground when we arrived, we didn't want to use the ceiling fans due to the dirt and dust on them, the shower water pressure was the worse of anywhere we have ever stayed, the block out curtains in the main bedroom didn't even cover the window fully and the attitude towards late check out was embarrassing e.g. if you were 15mins late after check out they would charge $30...not very customer focused.
Simon (10/5): - Lovely and friendly staff. Excellent location, next to the beach and near 2 great surf clubs. Fantastic pool and spa (heated). The sauna was great too. The spacious and modern 2 bed apartment was perfect for 3 people also, with a washer, dryer, Fridge/freezer and dishwasher too.
3C_20 (10/5): Awesome - Awesome place to stay with a great view. The apartment was modern and bright with 3 air conditioners in the 2 bedroom which is awesome. The lady who checked us in was super friendly and very welcoming, explained everything to us including all amenities and cafes that offer discounts if you are staying here. Highly recommend
Carl (6/5): Kirra disappointing - The view was fantastic but that’s were it ends, room was very tired, ensuite was a disaster, shower door hit toilet, sideway to get in?and very poor water pressure . Kitchen sink tap was falling out, told receptionist twice but no action taken. All glass doors rattled and whistled due to winds. Very disappointing considering the price and will not be back.
Bradon Rodney (6/5): - Great location right on Kirra beach, a bit far to walk for some for shops and restaurants. Apartment was well presented and clean however kitchen and bathrooms showing their age.

Verified traveler (2/5): Disappointed - I choose the Two bed room deluxe ocean view room but when arrived it was completely different to the photos. Our apartment was on the side and you could only see the ocean just. Also the description said there would be air conditioning in the bed room but there wasn't. So I complained to hotels.com and they did not help at all, I finally got to upgrade my room to the superior ocean view room. Hotels.com staff then lied to me and told me they will not charge for an extra bed but they did charge me for an extra bed and $100 for this for one night. Hotel.com site says around $35 (even peak season) difference per night with a Two bed room deluxe ocean view room and a superior ocean view room. They also charge for your beach towels as well -$5
Helen (6/5): - Not great value for the price. Unit was in poor condition, relegated to back bedroom as master was locked off, which had the view of the beach.

Kate (2/5): - I asked for a wheelchair friendly unit.We got the most Wheelchair unfriendly.We also had4 other units booked, and had to shower my daughter in the other units ,which were much user friendly.there were insufficcient garbage bags supplied in the unit , and no nearby shops to by same ,hence were charged for extra cleaning. the lifts were a nightmare ,as we had family members on different floors,andcould not directly interact to those floors.The shower sachet could not be opened ,so could not be used.All in all ,very dissappointing !!!

Hope there is some flexibility on a repeat stay. the complex on the whole was clean and all I’d expected. a lamp in the lounge room could be added for low light. loved the ocean view and would definitely visit meridian again.
gordon (6/5): - Did like - Great view, location, easy access Did not like - this apartment badly in need of some TLC eg. cupboard doors jammed, build up of grime on fridge door, balcony furniture should be thrown down the tip. The owner should spend some time here to experience the downfalls of this apartment.
Kiwiseley (8/5): Location and view will be good for you - Was only there for one night, but enjoyed it. We got there early but as our room had been serviced we were allowed in. Unfortunately a maintenance man was working in the bathroom, but fortunately he was nice and advised he was just finishing up. By the time we collected our luggage from the secure underground car park, he was gone. The apartment had two bedrooms and was well designed to maximise the view. If there is one criticism it is that the main living area doesn't have air conditioning, but has two fans. We were ok as the breeze from outside was nice, but it might get too warm in the height of summer.
gerardf871 (10/5): Very happy - Room was clean , spacious , comfortable and had a spectacular view The resort is handy to the daily necessities at Kirra Beach and is within walking distance to the supermarkets etc at Coolangatta Maggie and Mike were very welcoming and obliging The resort is extremely accessible to the airport ……. We decided to walk to the airport after our check out ! We would strongly recommend the resort
