Elevator access to apartment. Good location with restaurants and cafes nearby and within walking distance of CBD. Some noise at night and early in the morning from adjacent apartment.

We had lots of issues trying to - Property seemed clean on arrival There was lots of mould in the bathroom. You got the thinest blanket. The three bedroom is advertised to sleep 7 people, one of this is on a roll away bed that has a paper thin mattress

Will stay again! - Walking distance to Football stadium and restaurants. 3 bedroom apartment was very spacious with a good layout Car park was small and very tight to get in and out of parks. Carpets in the apartment were outdated and require replacing

Lovely view of the mountains, fridge and microwave, large shower, clean, plenty of PowerPoint's, free WiFi, 15 minute walk to CBD, close to Palmer St. Friendly staff. Would stay here again. Great value. Air-conditioner was old and noisy, but window opens and there is a fan. Curtains would help with morning light, was hard to sleep in, and I could hear the nextdoor room coming and going as doors are heavy and slam.

It was difficult to work out where to find the basic 'free to air' channels .... and when navigating any other system, it was extremely slow to lock into any particular channel. I could not navigate successfully to Youtube which should be free.
• Harry (5/5): Room required improvement - Good location to get into Townsville. Room was tired and had an unpleasant fusty smell which was very off putting. Walls were very thin so could constantly hear the neighbours, could hear the whole movie they was listening too! Worth noting reception is only open 9-5 I was out for these hours so could have never contacted reception

• Kimberley N John (8/5): Good - Lovely friendly staff Could benefit from a luggage trolley and also access from car park to door near car park which currently isn’t accessible from outside, you have to walk around the building in the dark to get inside. Beds weren’t very comfortable. Other facilities and room ammenities were good.

• Tevita (6/5): Not the greatest but affordable - Not too far from Palmer Street. Nice view at the Mariner. Gym is not always accessible, only during staffing hours. Furniture worn, beds were not comfortable, spring poking out in one of the beds in the room that was hired
• Geoffery (8/5): Good but know what you are getting - Security was good. Location was good close to Palmer St restaurants. Reception desk closed at 5.00pm. I arrived after that time. My fobs cards were in a cabinet. I was sent pre booking information and nowhere was it said reception was closed after 5.00pm. I saw no-one from the hotel staff the entire time.. I phoned and got the combination to the locked cabinet for the access cards and finally worked out which lift to use to get to my room. No where was it stated that reception is closed ay 5.00pm in Booking.com site or other emails sent. It is not really a hotel, it was a dual key apartment. IThe room was good.
• Sulei (8/5): Well maintained apartment suitable for family stay - Property is well maintained and had everything we need. Good value for money for a two-bedroom apartment. First time to Townsville and the location of the property felt a bit out of the way. Not much around it quite dark at night time.

• Erin (4/5): Average. - It was fine for one night as a stopover while travelling, the bed was comfortable enough and security was good. The room was very run down and the cleanliness was quite disappointing. The shower had visible mould as well as the bathroom basin which could easily be cleaned, which tells me the rooms only get a quick surface clean, if that. I had communication with someone from reception while travelling to Townsville and he was quite rude and abrupt on the phone which was just unpleasant.
