• Arne (9/5): Da würden wir immer wieder hingehen - Parken konnte man direkt in Innenhof. Laundry und Dryer waren kostenlos. Zu Fuß kam man schnell zum Pelican Cafe, da gab es guten Cafe und um 8.45 Uhr gegenüber die unterhaltsame und lehrreiche Pelican Fütterung. Pelican's Nest ist ruhig gelegen, bei starkem Wind schlugen die Äste vom Baum aufs Dach, was nachts etwas störend ist. Im Nachbarhaus ging eine Party ab, ab das betrifft nicht die Qualität des Pelican Nests.

The room was immaculate, and everything worked correctly (unlike some other establishments). I had four nights here, and another one night on my return journey from further north. I was upstairs with a balcony on both occasions. The Pelican's Nest is in a quiet area, but very close to the main road and the pelican-feeding area.

The grounds were filled with beautiful decor, plays and screens giving it a homely feel. It was in a great location close walking distance from everything. There wasn’t a pool, but they are waiting on approval, so will have one soon.

The room was great. It was clean, spacious and comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. The location was excellent. The information provided about the area, and recommendations on where to eat and what to do were spot on. The only recommendation I'd make is that they could install a rail or hook on the bathroom sink unit to hang the hand towel. A very, very small recommendation. Everything was perfect.

• whyyou (8/5): - The tranquility makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable. Everything was pretty good. Walking distance to the grocery store, restaurant and beach. Almost all the things were provided. The only imperfection was that there weren't any pots and plates provided in the kitchen for cooking. We end up going to the grocery store to get one saucepan and microwave for our food.

Michelle and Craig were fantastic hosts who were more than happy to share about sights to visit at Kalbarri. Highly recommended accommodation, and thanks for having us!

The owners were very friendly, with great info about the Kalbarri region. The location was excellent, one street back from the main road, making it quiet yet so convenient to everything including the morning pelican feeding.The apartment was very clean, with a beachy vibe, and well equipped with everything you need for a truly comfortable stay. We will definitely return in 2026.

Die kostenlose Möglichkeit Wäsche zu waschen und zu trocknen war toll. Kurze Wege zu Läden, Strand, Pelikanfütterung. Wir würden wiederkommen! Alles war ok!

• Paul (10/5): Perfect self contained unit in a central location. Able to walk everywhere in town and to some of the coastal lookouts. - Self contained unit is a perfect size for a 2+2 family. Would suggest a roller blind or similar over the kitchen window for privacy at night time.

I like the balcony so much, can have a tea at there to watch the sunset. Host are very friendly and nice. The location is quite far away from any restaurant, need to drive to the restaurant and not walking distance but so far driving only take 3-4min

Almost no bench space to prepare our breakfast...we had to remove the microwave and place it on the space for suitcases. No vanity unit... only the basin and a tiny shelf which only took our toothbrushes.

The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and well set up with everything we needed. The location is fantastic – close to the river, shops, and the coastline – making it easy to enjoy everything Kalbarri has to offer, even on a short stay. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and we really appreciated the relaxed atmosphere after a few busy days on the road. Would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place in Kalbarri.
