• Patricia (8/5): A lovely quiet place to stay. - Our cottage was fastidiously clean. The beds were very comfortable & the linen crisp & pressed. The grounds were like the garden of eden, beautifully maintained with loads of tree canopies, native animals & the lovely little creek at the bottom - the owner clearly takes a lot of pride in the beautiful gardens. I personally prefer the little guest soaps to the "zero waste" pump soaps & toiletries, but each to their own. I appreciate that small businesses are under a lot of pressure to save on costs, but I did feel that splicing the dish scourer into (thirds?) was a bit extreme. Our cottage was two bedroom. The living area & the couches were pretty small. There was a sign up that we could request more coffee pods from reception, but given we stayed for 3 nights it would have been nice to have a few more left in the unit for us.

Mount Beauty is slechts 3 minuten rijden de helling af. De eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam. Niets, alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig
• jason (5/5): Nice clean room that could have been better for the price. - Clean, comfortable bed, nice property. Air conditioning not working correctly(16 degrees was more like 25) Tv old and digital reception was bad. No ability for Netflix etc. Door to toilet was barely rolling on its rollers and very stiff which made a lot of noise and hard to manoeuvre when closing or opening. Steep walk to room from carpark to bring bags in. Too many rules posted everywhere made life uncomfortable. Some cutlery outdated(no steak knives for example) Minimal supplies for a longer stay and no top up or servicing of room. Extra supplies like toilet paper not supplied. General maintenance needs doing on facility.

• Annie (8/5): - We had cottage 7, which had a lovely view of the garden. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and within walking distance of the town centre. The electric stove is useless and needs to be replaced with something that allows cooking. There are many, many notes everywhere about what not to do and warnings about extra fees or running out of hot water etc. I appreciate that guests can be difficult but it didn't feel friendly at all.

Expecting people to pay $20 for the wood etc needed to make a fire in the wood heater is completely unreasonable .

It was the middle of winter but the rooms felt very warm and the underfloor heating and electric blankets were a bonus. Communication from the owners was great.

The cottages are in a beautiful location and are very clean and comfortable. Wish we had stayed longer but we’ll definitely be back.

We enjoyed swimming in the pool and lounging by the stream that runs through the bottom of the property. Jenny was enthusiastic to share her locals knowledge for good swim spots along the Kiewa river and up at Falls Creek. Looking forward to our stay next year already.

• Alison (8/5): Awesome location, very nice owners, rubbish air-con in cabin. - Location is beautiful. Owners are really lovely and accommodating. Air conditioner in cabin was a piece of rubbish - old and needs to be replaced. It turned on but didn't achieve much. My lounge room is bigger than this cabin and our split system makes the whole place cool within 20 minutes. We had the cabin unit on for hours and it was still cooler outside (even though it was hot outside). The place is amazing but I wouldn't stay there in the thick of summer unless you are happy with basically no air conditioning. Also, they basically make you clean the place yourself before you leave or you incur an additional cleaning fee. Shame about the rubbish air-conditioning, the do most of the cleaning yourself, no smoking, no pets rules. It's very rule orientated.

Breathtaking views and scenery in just about every direction, exceptional hospitality and very very clean, tidy and organised. I truly loved every second of the 3 nights I spent here and will be coming back again. the owners did everything they could to make our stay pleasant and the beds were very comfortable. The pool and bbq were clean, and the creek was tranquil and relaxing. over all, I'd recommend this place to anyone interested in seeing Mount Beauty and surrounding areas!

Very clear communication with host Jenny. Perfect location for summer season for anyone interested in hiking, birds, flora, alpine environment and history. Almost nothing. Wi-Fi signal weak in some rooms. And - nothing to do with the property - limited hours and range for dining options in Mt Beauty.

Such a lovely welcome from the hostess Jenny with home baked cookies, got all the info we needed from her and such a beautiful place. very well equipped cottage, ample space, beautiful furnitures, also had a resident coocaboora. and the place sorrounding us so beautiful, the outside garden, kiwea river just flowing by idly through the back of the property, beautifully landscaped a great place to stay.. nothing really, only if a dishwasher could be fit that will be great, but it's not really a big deal

Jenny is a great host who accommodated all our last minute requests. Starting with peaceful location where we enjoyed our time at creek. The views from the property are serene. We had a great bonfire and BBQ at this place. Rooms were comfy and kitchen had everything that was required by us.

The travel brochure, instructions of how to use the aircon, first day detailed check in with ALL the information you need! I like it's got a recycle bin as well! You can feel the hosts' passion for life just from the 2 days stay in every detail of the house. definitely 10 out of 10 worth stay. ...Not something I dislike but if there could a few board game for family that will be add on.
