- Ksenia (10/5): Lovely convenient stay - Convenient location, 10 mins to airport, we used it the night before flying out.
Lovely host, very accommodating and helpful, allowed us to check in early so we can get on with our day. Would definitely stay there again. Didn't particularly bother us, but the twin room with road facing windows might not be suitable for light sleepers as you do hear traffic throughout the night.
- T4750LAjessicac (10/5): Amazing! Thank you! - I absolutely loved it, the bed was the most comfortable bed iv slept in, in a hotel/motel. I felt safe and secure and a nice quiet place. It is close to the pub and shops. I definitely will stay again. Thank you :)
- Dianne (9/5): -
- John (10/5): All good - Clean
- Sarah (10/5): - The location , cleanliness, the little touches in our room of fresh water bottles daily to room made up daily , fantastic service & amazing staff.

- Brungle (10/5): Great place, lovely people - This is the original 'hidden gem'. A great place, handy to the airport and to the city, with lovely managers and staff. It's clean, quiet, and spacious. If you happen to be heading to the cricket at Alan Border oval, it's a nice walk of about 800 metres (past some very inviting looking pubs). We stayed three nights and have promised ourselves we'll stay here again soon.
- Susan (7/5): Albion Manor is in a good location if you have a car to get around the city. Would suit families on a budget. - Very convenient location to Brisbane Airport and restaurants.
Large rooms equipped with kitchen facilities.
The manager was very friendly. Free onsite parking. The room freshener smell was very strong.
The swimming pool was not in use and was in need of serious maintenance.
- 113jesit (10/5): Amazing stayđđ˝ - Booked a last minute room at the The Albion Manor.Met the general manager Jesse and was greeted with a warm welcome.Rooms are super homely and spacious and everything was perfect.Very comfortable and peaceful.Had to extend my stay for another night on last minute call and the General Manager Jesse was very helpful.Very friendly staff.Definitely enjoyed my stay at The Albion Manor. Will definitely be booking here soon.

- Bianca (10/5): Fantastic! Great valve for money! - Very friendly staff. Very clean.
- Roy (8/5): Convenient for Brisbane airport - Close to Brisbane airport, family room that fitted our family of 4. Room was clean and beds comfy. Room had a strange smell. No response to messages via booking.com. Quite pricey for what you get. But guess that is due to location close to the airport.
- E5340SQphilm (10/5): Much Improved Since My Last Visit - I've stayed at this hotel again for business, and this experience was much improved compared to the previous stays. The room was comfortable and well maintained, making easy to work and rest. Check-in was smooth, staff member Jessie was professional and helpful throughout my stay. The overall service and facilities have clearly improved, which made this visit far more enjoyable. Happy to stay here again.

- Rochelle (10/5): Amazing stay - This has been such a great experience staying here. The manager goes over and above to be so welcoming and hospitable. He cared about my safety and the fact I was a female travelling alone and that was such a standout. Helpful from the moment I checked in to the moment of checkout. I had to be in Brisbane for work and stayed a little over a week. Itâs close to everything you need. The price is great considering the outstanding service and amenities is just a bonus. Iâll stay here for all Brisbane travels. It far exceeded any expectations I had. Thank you!
- Eleanor (8/5): -
- Shane (9/5): Very good - Clean and very comfortable Nil
- Evelyn (10/5): Excellent -
- Kristy (8/5): Good value for money - Albion Manor is always a comfy stay, staff are great, very clean and rooms are comfortable and great value. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because I was unable to watch the television due to having to log in to all channels manually, no free to air options to just turn on, which was a bit frustrating.
- Daniel (10/5): Very pleasant. It was clean and the staff were easy to deal with. - Clean and the staff were very accommodating

- Tim (8/5): -
- Annika (1/5): We did not stay, was quite a let down. - The location was convenient for being 10 mins away from the airport. A short walk to dining. Misleading info regarding the facilities. Pool was closed down and hadnât looked like it had worked for some time. Rooms were dark and tv did not work properly. Weirdly there was also a bed out in the outdoor area??
- Karen (8/5): Close to Australian Training Institute convenient - Large room with porch. Good size bathroom and shower. Water pressure was amazing. Cookies to eat as well as ample tea and coffee. Newspaper on the coffee table. Manager let me park there for a day even after I had checked out. Woops. The beds were not made up from the previous guest. Bin was full. Used towels on the floor.

- Proximity to airport, and easy to get there
- Cutlery, crockery & glassware provided (have been caught out at other motels) - Strong septic (?) smell in room upon entering, but thankfully disappeared soon after turning AC on
- A lot of loud road noise, all night. Consider using earplugs.

- shaneaM9549GH (2/5): Crap - 1 Star â Very Disappointing Experience at Albion Manor
Our family stayed at Albion Manor after booking a family room back in May for two adults and two children. Two weeks before our stay, we couldnât find any confirmation emails, so we had to ring around several hotels to locate our booking. Once we finally confirmed it, we checked in on Friday and thatâs when things went downhill.
While carrying our bags to the room with my 13-year-old son, I was suddenly stopped by what appeared to be a manager. In front of other guests, she loudly accused me of sneaking extra people into the room and âtrying to cheat the system.â At first, she wouldnât even let me continue to my room and kept arguing with me in front of my son. I told her it was completely inappropriate to have that kind of conversation and speak to me in that manner with my 13-year-old standing beside me. Despite this, she continued to raise her voice and make accusations as others watched.
I offered to take my son upstairs and come back to discuss it privately, but when I returned, she continued to accuse me and insisted I had only booked for one person. I explained that I had booked a family room for four and even gave them the opportunity to match Booking.comâs family rate when I booked earlier in the year. Despite this, she demanded an additional $80 per night. After going back and forth, she eventually confirmed we had booked a family room yet still forced an âextra bedâ charge of $40 per bed per night.
To make matters worse, I was told the manager who handled my original booking, Jesse, was âno longer with them.â When I asked if they could honour what he had agreed to, I was told they couldnât due to âunseen circumstancesâ around his departure. Thatâs very disappointing, itâs not the guestâs fault when staff changes occur, and the original booking and rate should have been respected.
The room itself was also below expectations. What they called a âfamily roomâ was a small main room with a double bed and an enclosed balcony that held two single beds on wheels. There was no air conditioning or fan in that area, and ventilation was extremely poor. My kids couldnât sleep comfortably and ended up placing the mattresses on the floor. The kitchen setup was basic with mismatched plates and cutlery, limited essentials, and we had to request dish soap and cloths. The only positive was the water pressure.
What made the situation worse was how the experience impacted my son. He was clearly shaken by the confrontation and couldnât understand why we were being spoken to like that. Even later during the stay, when staff checked in and asked if everything was okay, my son quietly said, âWhy is she trying to make up for what happened?â It was obvious to him that the follow-ups were an attempt to smooth things over after the initial incident.
Itâs also worth noting that there was at least one other person who approached me afterwards about the way the manager spoke to me, confirming that her approach was unprofessional. Even if only staff were present, no guest should ever be spoken to in that way, especially in front of a child and other team members. It sets a terrible example of how to treat customers.
Regarding payment, the transaction initially declined because we were not informed about the surcharge that would be applied to the card. Once I became aware and raised that it had not been explained at the time of booking, the manager waived the fee which, to be fair, was the only positive gesture extended during our stay.
As for the condition of the room upon checkout, it was left in good order. I even offered to vacuum before leaving, but the cleaner kindly told me not to worry. She was respectful, professional, and honestly the most pleasant interaction we had during our time there.
Overall, this experience was upsetting and unprofessional. No guest, especially one travelling with children, should ever be publicly accused of wrongdoing or made to feel unwelcome. Respect and empathy go a long way in hospitality unfortunately, that was missing in our experience.
I do not recommend Albion Manor and will not be returning. I hope management, especially Christine, takes this feedback seriously and reflects on how tone, approach, and accountability can make all the difference in guest experience.
Kind regards,
- Heike (10/5): Short stay, great location. - The location was great, we were spoilt for choices when it came to dinner, with an Italian, Indian, Thai, and Turkish restaurants all within a 5-minute walk. Parking was great, the room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place to fellow Travellers and would stay here again. NA
- Shayne (8/5): Nice and comfortable. Suited my needs. - Good price, Close to where I needed to go. N/A
- ESPOSITO (6/5): -
- Ann (9/5): -
- Erin (7/5): -
- Scott (10/5): - It was very nice and Christine is very friendly
- Rosemary (10/5): - location,
- 683neilm (10/5): Great location and clean good size room. - Had a 3 day stay here to attend cricket at Allan Border oval, which was a 1km walk away.
The location was excellent as also 9km from airport and many dining options within short walking distance. Room was excellent well stocked with supplies for coffee or tea, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was adequate and well stocked with towels etc. I would suggest new floor tiles in the bathroom of the non slip variety as I found it quite slippery when wet. Overall, however, I would highly recommend Albion Manor.
- Sean (8/5): -
- Anu (10/5): -
- Glynis (6/5): - I really did not like, not being able to see out of a window.
The Bathroom very basic and no shelf room to sit anything.
Basically, no atmosphere at all.
I was there for a stressful visit and it would of been nice to actually sit at a window with a cup of tea.
Staff were lovely.
- Wendy (10/5): Comfortable - Clean Plenty of room
- Gudrun (10/5): - friendly staff, quiet, neat and clean, everything we needed to prepare our breakfast

- Marion (10/5): - Had a really lovely night. Feel like home more then a manor.
- Lacinta (10/5): - Everything was great
- alan (8/5): quite pleasant - size of the room only two complaints and they are minor, the kitchen tap only provided a very small flow of water, and there is a two centimetre difference height difference between the bathroom floor and the hall way floor outside it. Which I kicked my toe on. That could be easily addressed.
- Annie (10/5): - The location was perfect for us to get to our wedding venue. Lots of places eat close by. There was a light in the bathroom that didnt work, also the hairdryer didnt work either
- Tim (10/5): -
- Richard (8/5): -
- Kevin (2/5): ok once we were inside - price arrived as the hotel @1030pm as it was instructed to find place totally locked up.
call to phone # on door was not accepting calls
walked several blocks to a bottle shop where young mate there googled the place and called another #
a woman in PJs came to finally open door
- Sylvia and Tony (10/5): Pleasant and comfortable. - Very welcoming staff. We had asked for a quiet room and it was very quiet( back of the motel). We didn't eat in but little hob and microwave if wanted.
- Mark (7/5): Acceptable, not sure if good overall value - Easy access, good size room Getting old, some Noise from the street
- David (10/5): -
- Jennifer (8/5): - . .
- Sue (9/5): - Good sized rooms

- Lisa (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The apartment was very clean and tidy and the beds extremely comfortable. Will be very happy to stay there again.
- Sonia (3/5): Never stay here - Nothing I was with my special needs Son,and we could not turn the tv down we tried for so long but his anger was building, there was no phone number for help ! The bathroom has no ventilation and I would never cook on there stove top as it was dirty and once again no ventilation! I stayed in the room that had single beds no sleep at all through the traffic noise all night ! When we left at 7.30 the next morning I told the Manager about the tv and she was fully aware that there was an issue, I would never stay there again also all the body cleaning products are the same ,very disappointed!
- Carolyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jodie (9/5): Superb -
- Loril (8/5): Small boutique gem - The receptionist could not do enough for us. She went to the trouble of printing off the directions to the airport and bringing to our unit. She is a credit to the hotel. Thought that it was very expensive, but probably rate hike due to British Lions rugby game that night.
- Athiff Akalili (8/5): - Stayed for 5 days 4 nights. I like is as it is clean and tidy. Fast check in and check out procedure. Just a minor things that I do not prefer was the kettle already rusty and at the last day of my stay, there was no hot water.
- Kerriann (10/5): - Friendly staff. Nice and clean. Comfortable beds. Lovely older style room but looks freshly renovated.
