- David (10/5): - The building is a relatively new building but built like a quality traditional Queenslander-style house. Quality craftsmanship throughout and decorated with antiques. Very friendly "treat the place like your own" style accommodation. Also: comfortable bed, large modern shower, log fire in the common room, and good breakfast selection included.
- Neil (10/5): - Great location and an excellent host(Paula)that could not do enough to make her guests comfortable and want for nothing
Will recommend to everyone we know and meet.
- Colleen (10/5): Just lovely. - It was a beautiful spotlessly clean house. Leonie was very friendly and took great care of us, lighting a fire in the evening so it was ready for us on our return from the day's activities.
- Roslyn (10/5): - This property was so immaculately kept inside and out and our host Paula was a delight. From the moment we got there until the moment we had to leave we felt special and privileged to have stayed at this beautiful property. It was also the perfect base to explore Stanthorpe. It is close to everything, town centre, wineries, cheese factories and of course Apple orchards.
- Terry (10/5): - Just a brilliant place with an equally brilliant host
- Lauren (10/5): - Paula is a wonderful host and Logger’s Rest is a beautiful place.

Owner is lovely , and helpful with information.
The breakfast was great!!
- Leoanrdo (10/5): - Loggers rest was a great place , with a super friendly host ( Paula ) highly recommend this accommodation
- Russell (10/5): - We enjoyed the homely feel of the place. We could sit in the roomy lounge room and read a book or sit on the verandah and have a wine which we bought from the wineries. We could walk easily into town (20 mins) for a stretch and coffee. The breakfast (hot and cold) was delicious. The host Paula was very friendly and helpful. Will stay again.
- Alan (10/5): - First class and EV friendly.
Think B&B meets a posh country hotel.
Wonderful attention to detail without a doubt the best B&B we've ever stayed at (and I'm speaking internationally as well)!
Paula the hostess would be a National Treasure if she wasn't a Kiwi!!
Re EV: while there are no actual EV facilities there's an outside powerpoint and extension lead so if you have your own charging lead you can top up over night. 'No problem' says Paula.
Wonderful home cooked breakfast. It's very reasonably priced for what you actually get.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Lovely property. Very welcoming. Great attention to detail
- Vien (10/5): - Amazing property with a wonderful host. The location is conveniently positioned near town and only a few minutes drive to many good restaurants. The BnB is high quality and top level cleanliness. The breakfast is made to order daily and is not only convenient but delicious as all local products are used. Guests have use of their own fridge and pantry which is useful after a days shopping at all of the wonderful wineries and cheese/jam shops to store your purchases. The bed is very comfortable for a good nights sleep and we also enjoyed sitting on the verandah in the afternoons to enjoy our wine purchases. Parking is good with a high car port (as our 4WD needs 2.3m clearance). Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Stanthorpe.
- Lenore (10/5): - Beautiful home. Lovely host. Great breakfast and other facilities. Failtless checkin process. The nicest B&B I’ve ever stayed in. Would highly recommend.

- Cassie (10/5): - It was nice to meet the other couples during breakfast in the mornings. We all helped each other decide on what to do and where to go .
- Louise (10/5): - Paula was such a warm, welcoming host.
She went over everything at check-in in a way that instantly made me feel at ease to use the common areas. The rooms are beautiful and immaculate and every one has its own en-suite. I can’t wait to stay there again next I’m in Stanthorpe.
- Bryney (10/5): - Wonderful hostess. Great breakfast options. Highly recommend
- Adrian (10/5): - This was our first visit since Paula took ownership, and we found her and the property exceptional. From the warm welcome, lovely room and great cooked breakfast it felt like a home away from home. Paula's use of local products was a great touch. The new firepit looked great although we preferred to relax in front of the cosy fireplace with some local wines. We highly recommend Loggers Rest.

- Matthew (10/5): - To say that this place is amazing doesn't do it justice. Paula is the most amazing host, happy to assist with your enjoyment of this wonderful B&B. From the expansive porches to relax on, to the warm cozy fireplace in the sitting room, as well as comfortable beds and well situated rooms, there's nowhere else in the area that my wife and I will stay. Paula readily accommodated my wife's dietary requirements, and was a joy to talk to on arrival. The proximity to Stanthorpe and everything in it is perfect. This place is truly a home away from home. If you're in the area, it's worth giving it a try.

The house itself is stunning, with all ensuited rooms. Rooms are immaculate & antiques decorate the main house. The fireplace in the main living room gives it the cosy warmth. Everything you need for a stay is there. I would highly recommend this place. It is now our "goto" for all of our stays in Stanthorpe and surrounds from now on.
- Darryl (10/5): - Paula you are an awesome host. You rock! The fire place, chocolates, cleanliness, super comfy king bed, beautiful furniture and house . Kitchen access to make a cuppa anytime. And of course your stories! We'll be back. Darryl and Simone.

- Maria (10/5): Very warm welcome - Paula, was very friendly and helpful. We arrived to the fire place on, it was a beautiful welcome. Breakfast every morning cooked fresh for us. I cant fault this place or Paula.
If you stay in Stanthorpe you need to stay at Loggers Rest it is definitely a 5 out of 5!

Paula's generosity and kindness is evident the minute you step foot inside her beautiful home. It truly feels like staying with a sister or best friend. - Thea (10/5): - Beautiful homestead. Paula was a lovely host and very welcoming.
- Trish (10/5): - Pristine clean, absolutely spotless. Hostess Paula was friendly and accomodating.
Breakfast was huge and beautifully cooked.
We will be returning customers and perhaps take the winery tour Paula suggested.
Paula should be very proud of the comfortable and inviting space she’s created.
- Pete (10/5): - Loggers Rest is a peaceful and comfortable place to base yourself to explore the Stanthorpe region. Paula is just a wonderful host and ready to provide suggestions and local knowledge.
- Eva (10/5): - The new owner Paula is super duper friendly, accommodating and chatty, which is wonderful. The house itself is beautifully presented and has a lovely calming atmosphere (particularly sitting on the verandah). We'd never stayed at a B&B before, so didn't really know what to expect, but I think it's probably an excellent example of one. The only issue for us was the noise factor - hearing other guests and them perhaps hearing us! The water pressure in the shower isn't great either, but other than that the room was very comfortable. The bed, including the linen, was superb. The breakfasts were generous and there was lots of lovely fresh fruit. Would definitely recommend.
