- Dannielle (10/5): Central, comfortable and cosy stay in heart of Merimbula - The property was located centrally in Merimbula and within walking distance to the shops, cafes and restaurants. Sharon, the owner was very accommodating upon our arrival. It was great having keypads as our room key, as we didn’t need to remember to bring our keys when leaving the property. The cleanliness of the apartments were outstanding and both of the two apartments we rented for our group were newly renovated. I’d highly recommend this accommodation! Nothing!

Nowhere to put suitcases or clothes - had to resort to the corridor. Noisy from other guests one night but proprietor intervened effectively. Property is on a main road but not noisy in bedrooms .

The fans were fine but not sufficient (or you had to turn them on quite high making it uncomfortable to sleep) if the nights were hot and humid. We ended up sleeping with the windows open on those nights.

Check in is also hassle free with room numbers and door codes sent to your mobile phone. I would certainly recommend to anyone requiring accommodation in Merimbula that The Palms is a great place to stay! The only downside was the noise from other guests staying in neighbouring rooms.

Very handy to cafes and RSL and riverfront walk. Parking was off street and great for a large vehicle. Ceiling fans were a bit noisy, but manager was going to sort out.
