The blankets warm - feather down … location was good. Easy access .. Just nosey neigbhour decided to come alive from 11pm onwards stomping up and down their stairs in their room lol. But we could live it with.

Rosemary (10/5): - Loved our 4 night stay here in a superior suite. The motel is clean, comfortable, convenient and full of character. Rooms, gardens and grounds are attractive and well-maintained and although the pool was very cold, it was a perfect combination with the hot tub! The location is handy for everywhere yet quiet and peaceful. Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. This place suited us perfectly and was good value for money. We will stay again if we are in Auckland No plunger for making coffee. Everything else was great

Ella (6/5): A great priced family accommodation - Excellent priced accommodation for a family and well laid out. The shower in room 3 was absolutely terrible!! It had a notice saying one shower every 10-15 mins, but it was impossible to have it work. Too hot, then add a teeeny tiny bit of cold - dead cold. So so bad after a long day, desperate for a shower. We had neighbors that were loudly swearing at their children, which is no fault of the motels.

Karina (3/5): Way overpriced for the old facilities and required repairs in the unit - Good location and comfortable beds The older units where we stayed had very outdated facilities, probably not renovated since the 1960/70’s as they still had two taps for the kitchen sink and shower, single glazed windows with cracked wood and no heat pump. A notice on the wall asked to space the showers 15 min apart so that there was enough hot water for everyone. The whole unit also needed major repairs doing including an upstairs window that didn’t close fully/lock, broken curtains, rips in the sofa fabric and a hole in the wall. There was also no ceiling lights in the bedrooms and one of the bedrooms with the single beds for the kids didn’t actually have a door, so our kids struggled to fall asleep because of the light from downstairs. The wall soundproofing was non existent and we could clearly hear the conversation from the tenants next door and their TV. When we complained about the multiple essential repairs that needed doing they moved us to one of the recently renovated units, but they were half the size and too small for a family with kids for more than one night. The facilities were more modern though and they had a heat pump, but they only have one bedroom and a small living room with a sofa bed.

Glenn (9/5): Excellent motel in Auckland suburbs - Facilities within the room were complete including comprehensive tv channels, wifi, shampoo in the shower, tea, coffee and kettle. Extra blankets if you needed it. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely location in Mount Eden village. Bus every 10 minutes to city centre. Not a thing comes to mind

Wi-fi just kept cutting out in Room 15, probably need a booster or something cos just cut out all the time. Also we booked as there was a Swimming Pool but when we got there it was being renovated. Owners did say Booking.com should've updated their information but it wasn't when we booked.

This was a very last minute booking and they were very accommodating with our group of 5 and allowed early check in. Rooms were very dated as they are slowing renovating them but it was adequate for our stay. Will be exceptional once all rooms are completed. Very peaceful setting and close to airport and the CBD.

The overall room it's self was fine. The shower was really bad. It was tiny, difficult to balance the water temperature, and didn't have much pressure. The shower really negatively effected the whole experience for me. The rest of the room was fine. I could have accepted the terrible shower for a much lower price, but the overall price wasn't that cheap.

Serene (9/5): Lovely location - We loved the location, the room was ok good value for money. The pool was great and the staff were amazing. We had a nice stay however was disappointed to see that there was a blanket on the bed downstairs was badly stained.
