- Alysha (10/5): - Clean, decent sized room. Very friendly staff at front desk!!
- geoffrey (2/5): Lazy hospitality ?? - bed ok NOISEY NOISEY upstairs room no double glazing
Filthy heat pump filters-could not use
mould in shower
black mold in bathroom window
- Charlene (10/5): - The rooms were really big, clean and comfortable. Off the road so no road traffic but backed o to the rail track so some train noise but not enough to worry about. Really good stay and Louise again next time we stay in Levin.
- Jenny (9/5): -
- Ross (10/5): -
- Shirley (10/5): Perfect for our needs - Clean tidy and comfortable Nothing
- Kylie (8/5): -

- Julie (9/5): happy to stay again - very good stay traffic noise
- Apelu (10/5): My partner and I are so grateful for a comfortable stay, thank you so much, Alec and Dawn HB. - The facility was excellent. The train passing by really late at night.
- Kararaina (7/5): -
- Karen (10/5): A good sleep before I had to drive north - I'm very grateful they let me stay as my previous nights booking had to be canceled because my ferry was canceled
- Ghil (9/5): easy access, very clean, and good facilities; just note the “free breakfast” is continental only, but we’d happily come - easy access and superB clean highly recommended during the booking it says free breakfast. This got me confused. and when i ask staff they just say that they don’t have one 😅. it’s only continental breakfast. but all and all good facilities we will comeback again.
- David (8/5): -
- Stephanie (6/5): - Clean and spacious and love that I could view Netflix The room was freezing on arrival and I thought the heater could have been put on earlier as they knew I was coming.
It is a very busy road at night with trucks and cars and I didn't know there was an active rail line so close by so that was disturbing during the night- not the motels fault of course.
The bathroom fan was ineffective
- Paula (8/5): Great stay, will be back - The unit had everything we needed plus a spa bath! Nothing
- Magic (10/5): Great place - Clean, excellent condition everything was fine
- M (9/5): Great, comfortable stay. Location great - close to town. Would definitely stay again. - Room, clean and well presented Nothing
- Dean (7/5): -
- Pamela (6/5): Lovely staff. Clean and tidy - The car park lighting was nessasery for the location but it meant that the rooms where also bright so found it difficult to sleep
- Marie (4/5): Be aware of the Trains Passing - Able to check in immediately, spa bath was great. Because we are not from Levin we did not realize that we were next to the Train Track, hearing LOUD Trains passing four times throughout the night was horrible.
- Bruce (5/5): Average - Location Noise
Air con not working
Extractor fan not working
- Tania (8/5): Great place to stay, would definitely stay here again. - Great comfy bed and pillows.
Staff were great, accommodating, and communicated quickly when we advised we would arrive outside office hours
The spa bath was nice.
Was nice to have 2 tvs available, 1 in the living room and in the bedroom Trains go past and seem close but this would affect alot of accommodation along this main road.
- Wynne (6/5): -
- Kristina (10/5): - Beautiful space brilliant customer service
- Mita (8/5): - Clean and tidy units with ventilation via windows and door. Extraction fan in bathroom toilet, comfy beds. Utensils, jug, microwave, milk in fridge, variety of tea and coffee sachets. On site parking available. Was happy with the unit I was in. Met my needs for a comfortable stay.
- Martinique (8/5): Lovely tidy motel - Person on reception was absolutely lovely, helpful and an asset to the place! Rooms had loads of space. 2 bedroom apartment tv was huge The train. So so loud and on a Friday night runs multiple times a night. Beds a bit hard. Couches too. No oven.
- Gavin (10/5): Comfortable. - Good facilities, comfortable.
- Christina (10/5): Comfortable, affordable and inviting - Quiet, clean and comfortable with a great location Not enough pillows
- Tukapua (8/5): -
- Gillies (9/5): Levin has everything you need when travelling up country. The motel provides a great rest stop after disembarking from t -
- Guest (9/5): -
- Bev (9/5): A lovely clean, welcoming motel for our overnight stay. - Good location, close to town. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff.
- Ken (5/5): Pretty poor - Nice bed and able to park outside the room despite it being level 1 There were no wine glasses provided and only 1 drinking glass. There was no knives or forks provided initially and only 1 dinner plate. Also, the string on the shaded internal blind was broken and the joiner only allowed the blind to drop no lower than about 200mm above the window ledge forcing us to close the blockout blind due to the hot sun streaming in and was never remedied.
The web site advertised breakfast for $20 but when asked, I was told that they did not offer that any more, so was forced to go into town for breakfast initially and then bought breakfast cereal.
One club chair was open on the rh seat base allowing articles to fall to the bottom of the seat.
- DennyCraddock (9/5): -
- yvette (7/5): - The TV needs instructions on how to use fir those who aren't tech savvy.
- Carla (3/5): Dissapointing - Unit 11 - Nothing, we won't be back. Extremely disappointing stay, especially given the price paid. The in-room cooking facilities were not functional, the hobs could not even boil water. Only two towels were provided for three guests, which meant we had to share after returning late in the evening.
Despite leaving a note, the room was not serviced the following day. Noise was also a significant issue, with constant foot traffic on the stairs, a very loud train nearby, and the bed being located in the lounge made it difficult to get any rest.
Overall, this was very poor value for money and did not meet basic expectations.
- Pauline (9/5): Very comfortable bed, pillows and a well laid out motel -
- Jane Watt (8/5): Clean, tidy and easy to find. - Very clean Didn't realise the close proximately to railway lines
- Kawa (9/5): We enjoyed our stay and will stay again - The location was great The trains
- Nicola (8/5): -
- Fe (10/5): happy will come back again - clean huge room
- Gary (9/5): -
- Mitchell (7/5): Perfect for us - The location for what we needed. Easy to get to where we needed to be location, great room
- Bruce (4/5): Poor - Cups had old coffee in then shower was falling off pole. Not hard to put all cups and plates in a dish washer Claen the cups and plates
- Paula (5/5): Everything about the place was great apart from the noise of the trains during the night - Well organised, close to town We stayed in unit 6 and the train line was just beyond the bedroom and several trains go through the night waking you up. The addition of double glazing even just in the bedroom would help reduce the train noise I think.
- Kenneth (8/5): This motel used to be my first go to place, its certainly down the list now. - Check in was good, room was clean, shower was nice and altogether comfortable. It was very noisy with trials and trucks passing through the night but expected as on the main road and railway. Not having enough milk was annoying, only a few thumb sized pods. At 8 pm I went to the reception which was already closed to ask for more as travelling I didn't want to buy a bottle of milk. The "reception lady" saw me on camera and came to a window behind reception to ask what I wanted. I asked for a few more "pods" of milk and she was quite rude and told me No as it is passed reception hours and she is a dressing gown. She could have passed me a few through the window. This is enough to make me not want to go back there unless accommodation is in short supply.
- Mereana (10/5): Nice accommodation - Location was ideal Bed was too hard for my liking other than that, lovely place to stay
- Fiona (7/5): -
- FREDERIQUE (8/5): - Propreté
- Alia (7/5): - Convenient location. Only interacted with staff on phone.
- Daniel (8/5): -
- Judi (8/5): -
- Lance (8/5): Enjoyed my one night stay - Nice clean room well presented. Good location
- Bisley (10/5): - It was comfortable and clean. Handy to town. Lovely friendly owners.
- Geoff (7/5): -
- Kristi (8/5): Adequate accommodation - Clean & tidy. Noise from freight trains at full speed right behind my end unit. Also plenty of road noise and neighbours swimming pool.
- Tina (8/5): Have stayed before so knew what to expect - Nice and tidy and quiet
- Siegmund (9/5): -
- Tracy (5/5): - The set up of the room was standard and ok Bathroom shower curtains had a lot of mould around the bottoms including around the skirting boards and very black mould in the corner down by the toilet, and the attached seat for disabled persons to use all so had mould in the joins. cobwebs in corners of the ceiling and dust in the cupboards. And the carpet could use a deep clean. all very easy things to sort really!
- Debbie (9/5): A very comfortable overnight stay. - We had to organise a late check in. Evelyn was extremely helpful and had everything ready for us when we arrived late evening.
- Annalese (8/5): I’d stay there again in a heart beat - Everything you could need and nice little extras. Very clean would definitely recommend
- Ross (9/5): Neat, comfortable and easy stay. - Very neat and tidy rooms. Spare bed in the lounge was good to have too.
Nice bath with spa jets. Free Netflix was good too.
Good communication and vibe from the owners.
Unfortunately our EV didn't match the available plug or adapter but it was nice to see the option. There was a little bit of road noise but as we were in the middle it was pretty quiet. Certainly nothing that bothered us.
- Mike (8/5): - Great location. Room was tidy and clean, perfect for what we needed.
- Barbara (6/5): Comfortable and clean. - This motel was an overnight stay en route to Tauranga.
We were not expecting anything too plush. We were happy that the motel was easy to find, clean, comfortable and quiet. Bedside lights.
- Daniel (9/5): -
- Tipene (10/5): - We booked 5 units as we were traveling as a group. My sister in law is very fussy with cleanliness and she was very impressed.
We will be booking here again!
Value for money and comfortable 👌 There was no negatives for us.
- Cate (10/5): Will continue to stay here ☺️ - Easiest checkin, daily restock of all the tea and coffee, ample parking, close to everything.
- Mathers (8/5): served a purpose - 5 or 6 trains during the night but that is how Levin is set up
- Nicola (8/5): Would stay here again. - Very clean and tidy, everything you need, big rooms.
- Caleb (7/5): -
- Anna (10/5): Perfect for our purpose would stay there again - Ideal location
- Little (10/5): -
- Rajneeta (7/5): Train noise made it hard to sleep/no wifi. All other areas were fine and we would come back - The rooms and lounge were clean and tidy, same goes for the bathroom 1) The locations of single bed rooms made it hard to sleep at night due to the trains going every 3hrs right next to our head.
2) Although it was mentioned on the booking site about free wifi service. We did not get anything about it.
- Yvonne (8/5): Overall a great experience. Lots of room, layout was great. Will definitely stay here again. - had access to all channels like netflix, disney channel etc..... didn't have to log in with our own credentials. Wifi was great.
The entire 2 bedroom was clean and tidy, comfortable and we were happy with our stay.
Rooms had ear plugs, since we were near a train track, that wasn't too much of a disturbance. possibly an Information booklet about restaurants, cheap places to eat, things to do in the town (for short stayers / and long stayers).
- Nathan (6/5): -
- Lance (9/5): -
- Frances (9/5): - Great room. Friendly staff If you want a comfortable bed and no fuss then this is a great place to stay
- Caspillo (10/5): -
- Sara (8/5): Would stay again but try and get a front unit as train will wake you up in the night. - Location was good and nice room The train tracks behind the motel
Small frypan
Not enough toilet paper
- Grigg (7/5): Worked well for us - Friendly and welcoming. Convenient Couch not comfortable
Basic accommodation that looks a little tired
- Lynda (5/5): -
- Sheree (8/5): Very good motel clean friendly staff - Friendly staff and price Nothing
- Racheal (5/5): Average - Nocarpet. Not. Carpet. Not. Clean. And. Internet. Not set up. And. No. After. Hours number
- Shane (9/5): clean, easy going management and comfortable, good value for money -
- Anita (10/5): -
- Destiny (10/5): - Very tidy, gets loads of sun, apartments are well ventilated, bathrooms extra clean had everything I needed for my stay
I did enjoy the extras around the motel ..a smaller rest area just on the corner...dairies and petrol station nearby, taxis available supermarkets close also..restaurants and weekend entertainment..
I appreciated I cud meet family and friends whom I hadn't seen in a while, so to be able to enjoy lunch with them all at my room was absolutely perfect.
Absolutely enjoyed my stay. I was pleased with everything
- Lois (10/5): - The lady at reception was amazing and the staff we met were wonderful and super friendly Nothing to not like everything was great

- Tiandra (10/5): Highly recommend - The layout was perfect for my 2 kids and I. Comfy beds, great water pressure in the shower, air con nice and cold. Staff were friendly and helpful. Complimentary washer and dryer is a huge plus.
Location was 4 mins max from everywhere I needed to be. Fresh towels every day.
Even though its on the main street, you don't hear it inside the rooms or even your neighbors. Dislike nothing.
