The host was also responsive and helped with any queries we had. Highly recommend. Could benefit with having a dishwasher. The back sliding doors lock did not work (it wasn’t installed properly to begin with it seems) so that should be fixed. On one of the windy nights it caused the door to stay ajar.

A trip to remember Only downside was no curtains on some of the windows. However, these aren’t meant to have them and had I not had small kids it wouldn’t have been an issue at all

Outlook to the beach from the cottage was gorgeous, sunrise to sunset amazing. Spacious land ensuring privacy. Can't knock this place at all. Will absolutely be back. For future travellers be advised, do a shop before you go as the closest supermarket is 23klms away, but overall amazing.

We went koala spotting every night but what I really loved were the local roos sharing the road with me on my morning run. Great location for exploring Wilson's Prom and the lighthouse. Whiskey Bay is the best beach and rivals any Greek competitor. Also enjoyed the Tidal River boardwalk. Could have had better cooking tools and we had no power one morning.

- Amanda (8/5): Very good - The location was superb, right on the shoreline overlooking Wilson’s Promontory. The cabins were well appointed and spread out over the property so you have peace and privacy. We booked these cabins because they were advertised as 2 bedrooms, and priced accordingly. We were 2 adults requiring separate rooms, however when we arrived (contactless check in) one of the rooms was locked. I texted the owner and and although initially defensive (apparently there is a section in the terms and conditions that warns people about the fact that you have to pay extra for 2 rooms) he was very responsive and helpful and we were able to open the second bedroom. It was just a bit stressful and I think it’s worth mentioning here so people don’t get a surprise.

The accommodation was beyond amazing – stunning views, cozy atmosphere and Marcus the host was always at the end of the phone to answer all our questions. Whether hiking the trails, collecting shells on the beach with the kids or relaxing by the fire, every moment was perfection. A hidden gem for a rejuvenating escape. Highly recommend!! NA

The access to a private beach with a small non patrolled swimming bay was rejuvenating for morning dips. - Margaret (9/5): Superb - I loved sitting on the deck in the morning, having breakfast and listening to the birds and the ocean in the distance. The beds and living room were comfy. The lack of window covers in the bedrooms. I'm sure some people like waking up at 6 am from the dawn but I'd love the option of a sleep in.
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant - An absolute sensational location in Victoria. Cath and Bruce were lovely. The property is tired and many things not working. It was cold and the only heating was a prehistoric gas heater that did not do the job, plus it was so noisy. Which was very disappointing when we picked this location for the peace and quiet. And we didn't get any, because all we heard was the noisy and rattling heater.
