Guest Reviews
- Samantha (10/5): - Stayed here over Christmas period and found the park to be very clean - great well looked after camp site big enough for our needs - fits boat, car and our tent and annexes - lovely manager - Lakes Caravilla is an oldie but a goodie ! Thanks for having us -
- Juan (4/5): - I reserved that property for a price but when I arrived there I had to pay 30 dollars more than original price I don't know why.
- Prabhakaran Arakonam (8/5): - Nice location, not very far from Lakes entrance esplanade… very safe and nice and clean toilet and shower facilities
- Keryn (8/5): - Basic caravan park , good for a night stop. We were in a powered site with roof top tent. Very noisy next to the road at night, some loud groups but settled down by midnight. Check in was easy, toilets and showers clean. Pool was a bit dated but busy. Didn’t use the other facilities.
- Carolyn (4/5): - Our experience there was terrifying as it was very windy that time.
The place was nice and clean..A bit noisy though due to its near the highway but overall fantastic..I will come back next time..
- Eva (4/5): - Many bugs
- Rovelin (10/5): - Quiet and safe very close to lake entrance
- Osher (10/5): - Great camp-site conveniently located just a few minutes drive outside Lakes Entrance. Lots of nicely shaded powered and non-powered sites, tidy camp kitchen, clean n neat laundry and bathroom facilities, swimming pool and playground. Lovely owners, great sunset views, clear stargazing and dog friendly too
- Christie (10/5): - Rolling green grass, spectacular sunsets. Quiet and close to everything. Lovely
- Melissa (10/5): - Extremely affordable and peacefully. highly recommend. great owners are very helpful. everything you need eg bbq clean toilets/shower ,kids love the pool .just minutes away there is so much to explore without having to travel far. shops, fishing amazing views
- Reza (10/5): - Very clean and quiet place for camping
- Mark (10/5): - Close to highway. Very clean amenities
- Yasmine (8/5): - Our stay was enjoyable with great pricing. The staff were all friendly and accommodating.
- Rowan (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff, toilets were immaculate and freshly cleaned in the morning. Area was peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay again!
- Lynn (4/5): - This property was "out of town" and we had a good powered site with no "neighbours" as such - peaceful and adequate to our needs.
However, felt the cost per night was exorbitant for what was offered, particularly as the over flowing bins in the amenities block had not been emptied in the 4 days of our booked stay
When cost was queried, - told it was the "high season" and more or less "suck it up"!! . Knowing other similar accommodation was available "in town" at a nightly cost less than was charged at this caravan park.
We will not be back again or recommend due lack of cleanliness in the "tired" amenities block. and the cost, which we felt was exorbitant whether it was supposedly in the high season or not !
- Fred (8/5): - Very convenient to everywhere in lake entrance and very clean in bathroom
- Kelvin (10/5): - Grounds are clean, plenty of space. Great option for access to a powered site and ability to have a camp fire.
- Kimberley (8/5): - Being situated a little distance away from the town was good as it was quieter. I liked that it was pet friendly and the water pressure and temperature of the hot water in the showers was lovely first thing in the morning.
- Brenda (8/5): - Clean showers and toilets, lady at desk very welcoming and friendly. Had an unpowered site and stayed 2 nights, it was well worth the money and only 5 mins into lakes
- Lindsay (8/5): - Very nice for stay for camping. My family love it. We will back next year.
- Christine (8/5): - Great size grounds. Friendly easy going staff. Extremely well priced. Its an older park but very clean amenities & lovely grounds. ..It was mid week for us so very quiet. Had a great view & beautiful sunset. We are planning on heading back down in a few months to stay a week & explore Lakes Entrance. Very Nice - recommended
- Robyn (10/5): - I loved it was very friendly
- Emma (10/5): - It was a great plac to stay, really clean and really good owners great communication
- Roman (8/5): - good comunication
- Amanda (10/5): - Camp site a great size, could easily fit an 8 man tent and a gazebo on the site.
- Caz (8/5): - Large powered site enough room for 2 tents and 2 cars. Having two driers in laundry would be nice. Just unlucky with weather.
- Dom (2/5): - We had a group of people playing music and singing until 4 am!!!!
- Michael (2/5): - We booked a powered site through wotif and have tried to called at least 10 times to confirm our stay across 2 days. No one is picking up our calls. When we arrive, Susan / sue said there were no booking on her end and it’s not showing up. And offering us a unpowered site. And when you look up on other platforms (we saw at least 5!!!) they still advertise they have powered sites available. This deceptive conduct is sickening. You can’t advertise power site to people and when people arrive, you said only unpowered site is there.
- Tori (10/5): - Nice people and quiet park for camping
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was very peacefull and the kids loved playing with the other kids there
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly welcome, park great for kids, close enough to lakes entrance but away from the noise & throngs of tourists in bushland setting.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Smartly structured in a prime location which is literally minutes away from Main Lakes Entrance Tourist Spot. Providing reasonable facilities with options like Cabins, Caravans site and Camping sites. Pool/common kitchen and spacious bathrooms etc., for all visitors.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The price for a cabin was great and really close to Lakes Entrance. Heater worked great inly thing im 6ft tall and bunk beds would have been too small hahabut great overnight stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great site - friendly staff and no issues...lots of space, no noise
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Quiet stay, not much disruption by other guests and we had everything we needed. Only a short drive to town and restaurants.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly staff, good location and good rate for a family.
- Marcia (8/5): Nature Park - Natural, spacious camp setting
- PAUL (8/5): - It was close to lakes and rivers didnt had to drive too far.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was good, clean. Liked the stay. All sites under the shade. A bit of noise at night from the road but overall really good.
- RebelHeart (8/5): - The facilities were very out dated - location was good. A lot of permanent residents so it didn’t have the usual caravan park vibe. Not great for kids.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was easy to navigate to our camp site, and it was a great area !
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Friendly staff - kept the premises clean
- Vickie (6/5): - This is a campground on a main road. It is great if you are travelling through and just need somewhere to pitch for the night on the way somewhere...probably not somewhere I would plan a camping holiday too based on location.
- Jacqueline (8/5): - Nice and relaxing camping, little bit outside of Lakes Entrance. More powered places would be better. Owners are very nice and helpful.
- Casey (10/5): - Always enjoy staying here. Staff are friendly and facility is clean. Also residents and other visitors are respectful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean and staff were very helpful and close to Lakes Entrance.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place with friendly stuff, happy to visit again.
I do recommended to others.
- Nick (8/5): - Very convient place to stay. Nice lication and friendly stuff. Bathroom is clean and big bbq stage provided.
All in all it is great valve for $40 camping spot per night. Will come back again after covid year.
- Harsha (10/5): - Although it rained the night we wanted to do camping, but sleeping in the car was not bad. Waking up to amazing view and clean areas. Very good for camping and very clean toilets which i did not expect.
- RoamingKoala (4/5): - It reminded me of the most common saying “you’ll get wha you pay for”
Just a try experimenting and very unlikely for me to come back EVER
- Han (10/5): - Very accommodating and friendly, at short notice 😊 My old dog was able to stay also, which I really appreciated. Neat and tidy cabin, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend as a family friendly option on a budget. We'll be back.
- Ndun (10/5): - Lakes Caravilla was great, clean, quiet, just what we needed
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We booked a larger cabin, and were given the smallest cabin. What’s the point of booking if they give it away to others?
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The cabin smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. We had to leave the windows open 24/7 and I had to wash everything when we got back as everything smells of it. The door handle was falling off the bathroom door and there was an ant problem in the kitchen. It was very well priced but I can see why. The caravan park over all is pleasant and the playground and pool are lovely for families.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We only had an unpowered site but the owners were great
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent place, tidy and convenient location. My 3 children and I had a great time and were very impressed with everything.
- Andrew (10/5): - Stayed in an unpowered campsite, very generous site, host was super friendly, plenty of hot water for the showers, great location only 2 min away from the crazy centre of town. great prices too.
- Ashlee (10/5): Impeccable service and immaculately clean - Despite evacuation due to devastating bushfire activity in the area the service received whilst staying here was fantastic. So accommodating and friendly. Park had great amenities and spotless clean. Thank you. Hoping to return in the near future.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean, very friendly and close to all amenities. Only downside was noise from the highway.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Awesome camp ground with all the amenities available and the most important being clean and tidy bathrooms and toilets...
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It’s a good place close to the town and local fish spots. Friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The cleanliness of the floors and under furniture really let it down for me, although dated, it could have been an ok stay for the price.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The cabin was clean and had all we needed. However the mattresses on the beds were too small and way too hard - so no-one slept well.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff
The cabin queen bed was very comfortable, the shower area although small was excellent
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Susan was friendly helpful and welcoming. Park was pleasant and accommodating for an overnight stay with our dog.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Was a very affordable stop over on our drive from Sydney to Melbourne and Lakes Entrance as a town was beautiful. My only complaint is that the cabin wasn't very well insulated and in so was quite cold even with the heater on for the entirety of our stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Rate was excellent for a drive stopover to sleep. Very happy with accommodation a bit away from everything had to drive back into lakes Entrance to eat but no big deal really
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The place is safe...Maybe will need additional toilet for the ladies..
- Verified traveler (2/5): - When i booked it said in detail it is a room with two bed, but when i went there it was camp side and i had to have my own tent. We couldn’t stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful - marked on a map places for us to visit. Happy to give extra blankets. Good value, clean.
- THU TRANG (10/5): Good to stay - It is amazing
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful country-side location. Lots of traditional caravan-park charm.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The camping sites and amenities were in decent condition, however the check in process was non-existent. We tried contacting the property at least 10 times to request a late check in, and were unable to get in touch. Left many messages which were not returned. We ended up driving in, choosing our own site and finding our own way around the park. Terrible service
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very Quiet place and well equipped and had most things needed
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very friendly welcome. Toilets and shower really clean.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The only negative was no disabled shower facility.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room ok pool was good games room very disappointed
- Sergio (8/5): Great for Families - Great Experience with good facilities.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Reasonable rates, good value. Property hasnt changed much in 5 years.
- Rosa (8/5): - Large campsites and very spacious, flat ground, friendly hosts, adequate facilities
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, quiet and good service. Highly recommenced to my friend.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Kids loved the playground and the games room. The camp kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Location great.
- shaza (8/5): - Very nice people , nice cheap night away , shame I couldn't of stayed longer
- Maree (8/5): - Close to the highway, but no noise in cabin. Excellent value for the price. Very clean and tidy and everything worked. A+++
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was ok. Gas oven in cabin would not ignite and when we finally ignited the grill the smoke alarm kept going off. Staff friendly and helpful but the place is quite old.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall experience very satisfied .ecellent location
- KEXIN (6/5): Camp site - We booked a camp site for a night, staff is friendly shower is good and there is pool and kids playground but we didn’t use it. It’s a old facility but I liked it.
- Allan (8/5): Very Pleasant Stay - Great location, clean, quiet with complete facilities. The owner/ management are pleasant.
- michelle (10/5): Family break - Great friendly place to stay. Clean communal ammenities. Pool, lovely grassy tent sites. Flexible. Close to town. Sight seeing. BBQ & camp kitchen. New cabins.
- emma (8/5): Camping - Place was in beautiful surroundings that was pet friendly. The pool and BBQ area were good. Only problem is that pets can get out through fence and onto hwy. Apart from that had am enjoyable stay. Also nice saltwater pool.
- andrew (10/5): Just out of Lakes Entrance, comfortable with space - With more space than downtown places and a short 4-5min drive its a nice place to stay. Second time guest.
- Phillip (8/5): Nice facility very close to Lakes' Entrance - Whilst our weekend away was short, this facility is highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Hot showers - Great campsite everything you need
Would be better if campsite fires allowed
- Narelle (8/5): Old but nice - Place was nice it’s old but everything was clean. Games room is in need of updating pool table had no white ball and stole my money.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - we only stayed overnight on our way to Melbourne.
- Ricky (10/5): Working in Lakes Entrance - Nicely sited just out of Lakes Entrance. Self contained cabin with all the amenities. Comfortable double bed and additional room with 3 bunk bed if needed.
Staying initially 20 nights due to Drive in - Drive out project. Very flexible when I asked for some date changes and additions.
Susan (manager) sorted out a great deal for my stay and hoping to secure similar for the duration of the 6 month project.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice, Easy to find. - We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Close to everything. Clean. Things for the kids to enjoy.
- Verified traveler (10/5): It was like seeing old friends - Absolutely fabulous customer service. We stayed in a cabin, very clean & had everything you'd need.
- AB (8/5): Clean but simple - Good for a 1 night stop over, clean & friendly staff. Cabins heating was a little poor, very cold.
- Brett Styles (10/5): clean spacious cabins - there was plenty of room for a family in the cabins and a good play area for the kids
