The room had an effective heater (reverse cycle airconditioner) and decent sized table and chairs. Friendly, efficient staff on reception. The paintwork was a little dated.

• Harrison (7/5): Overall a positive and incredible experience, excellent location and will definitely be staying here again. - Was an excellent location walking distance to the Main Street and an comfortable stay Unfortunately the people staying in the room next to us were very loud and noisey at an inappropriate time during the night. However, management did address it that night which was incredible and goes to show they don’t accept that behaviour which was great.

• JEm (9/5): Comfy, Clean, Friendly, Perfect! - Great place to stay the night while on the road. Mitch at check-in was super friendly and helpful. Great location to the shops, all walking distance including Apex Park for the Big Thermometer and a pleasant afternoon walk. We were on the upper floor which was great for less car and people noise. Bathrooms and rooms overall are just lovely since the renovation. Great work! Comfy beds, great showers and amenities. Adequate freezer space for esky ice bricks while on the road. No heat lamp in the bathrooms. Small grille on the window that can't be closed for permanent steam air flow out (which is fair enough), but there's an exhaust fan anyhow so not sure why the heat lamp is lacking. Stanthorpe = freezing winters........ Eeek.

The bed was comfy, the shower was superb, it was clean and the location near town ideal. The all-Australian staff was a unique but welcoming bonus with their unmatched attention to quality service. We'll definitely stay here again next time we are in Stanthorpe. Not applicable.

• Bowman (5/5): Not bad give it a go over priced but that is everything in Australia now good basic 3 star hotel - Its a basic hotel room what more can I say but it was quieter than I thought it would be small but clean 10 years ago $70 now I think I paid $165 Anyway it was ok for a 3 star give it a go Bit of road noise love hearing the next doors toilet and shower working

• Georgina (6/5): Great location and clean. Bed was too soft. - The room was really clean and the shower was great. The accommodation was within easy walking distance of Quart Pot Creek and Stanthorpe shops and restaurants. Loads of great walks in Girraween and the wineries are lovely. The bed was HUGELY uncomfortable. We barely slept the first night. It was really saggy and felt like the head end was lower than the foot end. That was the only bad thing but for us it was a big bad thing.
