It stunk of old dirty carpet and furniture when we first walked in and that put us off. It stunk of old dirty carpet and furniture. There was no attempt to clean the carpet that was wrinkling and threadbare in places. Walls were battered and dented with wear and tear. It was very tired.
• Esther (9/5): Great location, well-equipped apartment, very comfortable stay - We had a wonderful stay at the Leeuwin apartment. Contrary to some of the reviews we’d seen prior to arriving, we were pleasantly surprised to find an allocated parking bay for our unit, which made unloading and coming and going very easy. The apartment itself was very clean, spacious, and well‑equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is also great — just a short walk to the main street. We didnt get to check-out the pool this time but we will definitely be back. The exterior of the apartment could use a bit of cleaning, as there were some cobwebs and a dead spider on the staircase.

Very generous with supplies...ie; coffee,tea etc. Having a washer and dryer was also a bonus. Would highly recommend . Close to township. Nothing really to complain about.

• Sue (9/5): Well appointed, great location, clean and convenient to all Margaret River attractions - Clean, well appointed and exactly as described in advert. Location was excellent. Next door to River Resort and pub. Pub restaurant was great. We could walk into Margaret River town. Nothing I can think of!

• Nigel (9/5): Nice apartment with pool and gym close to town - The property had everything you need for a stay in Margaret river. Having 2 bathroom is great for 4 adults staying in the apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to make meal. The gym equipment was new and all in good order. The pool area was great to sit out in. Walking distance of town. Some of the rooms probably need redecorating, but it's only cosmetic

Apartment had great spacious living area. Kitchen had all required to cook own meals. Was next door to the River Bar and Restaurant which served great meals at a reasonable cost.

• Holly (6/5): Good location, good for two nights. - Good location within 5 minutes to the town centre. The property was dated and old. There was a notice of a $50 charge if dishes were left. There were no cushions on the sofa, the walls were marked, dead flies on the upstairs window and the courtyard was unkept, not inviting and backed onto an old caravan in a long grassed area. For what we paid I had expected more. The cleaning staff seemed annoyed but the lady at The River Reception (check in/out) was friendly. I will investigate other accommodation options next time.

King bed en-suite with additional toilet / shower. Communal BBQ area opposite. Nothing really, very very minor - could do with pair kitchen scissors as dishwasher / washing liquid sachet impossible to tear open
• David (7/5): We loved it - Size of the apartments and the location There we no cushions on the pool beds and there should be more seating. There was also no bar or handle to make getting into the pool easy and safe

• Isabella (9/5): Tolle Unterkunft für Margaret River. - Es war ein süßes Häuschen mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern und einem großen Wohnbereich. Zu Fuß konnte man gut zu den Restaurants und Shops laufen. Die Waschmaschine hat leider nicht wirklich sauber gemacht.
• Emma (7/5): Good location, works as a base but not somewhere to spend lots of time - Really large apartment, loads of space and in a great location - easily walkable to the Main Street of Margaret river Overall it was a bit dated and tired - could do with some investment into the furniture/decor. Also was slightly dirty, carpets could do with a deep clean.
• Russ (7/5): Great location, good facilities very clean and great access to parking bays. - It was great there were 3 toilets, 2 boys lol it was reasonably close to the centre of town. The shower head was too low in ensuite and tapware took a bit to function. One of the sofas was broken, probably should of been replaced. We initially had another booking elsewhere but booking.com mucked it up, so we nearly paid double for accommodation but we were grateful that we got this one a day before we travelled. So that made it overpriced for us, as it was unexpected.

• Revati (7/5): Stay was comfortable apart from the small issues that can be ignored. - The location of the property was great. Close to the mainroad. Checking in was quite easy. No dramas. The kitchen exhaust was very dirty and greasy. Just touched to turn the lights on the range hood and turn off the fans. It was very greasy and had grits everywhere. Overall it was tidy and cleanliness was okay

Finding the correct apartment was a bit difficult. there was also some confusion about the allocated apartment. After office hours service should be improved.

• Rebecca (8/5): Overall our stay was very enjoyable and the apartment suited our needs. - Wonderful location, very easy on to main roads for our day trips. Apartment was clean and comfortable for our family; fantastic size rooms, bathrooms and living areas. Kitchen and laundry were well equipped. Afternoons were very relaxing on the balcony overlooking the pool while playing boardgames and cards. The apartment was run down and seems to have had a hard life. Although it was clean, it could definitely do with a fresh coat of paint (all the walls & door frames were chipped and marked) and some new flooring (carpet stained and bubbled in all rooms). It was strange that check-in/out is next door and not at the office within Leeuwin Apartments (this would have been far more convenient). Sauna wasn't working which we had been hoping to use.

• Malkin (9/5): Excellent accommodation in a perfect location. Will definitely consider staying here again. - The two bedroom apartment we rented was ideal for our week long stay. The accommodation was clean and spacious, and the beds were very comfy. The location is perfect for walking into the main street of Margaret River and nearby restaurants. The apartment also had a dishwasher and a washing machine, which was a great bonus. Although clean, the apartment did show signs of wear and tear and some maintenance work is due. Our room overlooked the pool area, so at peak times it was a little noisy but, it was no issue because everyone was on holiday enjoying themselves. There was only hand soap and shower gel supplied in the bathroom, and it would've been nice to have received complimentary shampoo and body moisturiser.

Sofas a tad uncomfortable, but not a major problem. No Netflix on tv. Apart from that our town house was fantastic. Space, clean bed linen, good pillows, kitchen has everything you need. Comfortable property.

Plumbing needs work, very difficult to adjust hot water, old smallish dumb tv, would have been great to have a few basics like salt, pepper, cooking oil, plastic wrap. Did not even have some shampoo.
