sonia (6/5): Good but wouldn’t stay again - Accomodation was central in Yarrawonga. Bed was fine The accomodation was fine for a standard hotel but the bathroom smelt like urine even though it had been cleaned. Would have asked for another room but did not have time before reception closed. There was also a drip that dripped all night and it wasn’t coming from our room.

Judi (8/5): Very enjoyable. - Great location, lovely staff, room had everything we needed and was more spacious than I expected. Despite being in the centre of town it was very quiet and had off street parking as well. We were on the ground floor which suited us as we are an older couple. It is not a modern style property but functional and well priced. Easy walking distance to supermarket and the main shopping centre is at the front door. We plan on visiting Yarrawonga again in the future and will rebook this hotel.

Robyn (4/5): Location would be the only reason to book this motel. - The rooms are big. The location is excellent. Plenty of outside table and chairs but not very clean. The curtains in most rooms are torn. One power point for two bedside lights isn’t enough. Motel is generally run down and in need of a complete update and a lot of ongoing maintenance. Just has a grubby appearance.

Everything was very clean and well-maintained, which made a big difference. The room service was fantastic, prompt, friendly, and really convenient. For the price, it was exceptional value, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. The location is also a huge bonus, with an easy and convenient walk to the main street, making it simple to get around and explore. The only downside was the shower temperature, which kept fluctuating while in use—likely due to other rooms using water at the same time. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay again.

Even after room service attended, dishes were not washed and basic items such as milk were not replenished. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the quality of the pillows was poor, which impacted our overall stay. Moved the chair & found mouldy smarties all over the dust covered floor behind the chair.. the bathroom basin had toothpaste in it when we arrived & none of the surfaces were wiped down the whole time we were there.. everything was shabby, worn & torn. Broken, worn out & dirty.

Ronnie91 (4/5): Cheapest in town but lacking in a few basic areas that could be improved. - 1. Cheapest accommodation in town. 2. The room was more spacious than expected and rather than just the standard bar fridge and kettle also had a microwave and toaster. 3. The pool was nice, with a relaxing atmosphere. 4. The motel was in a great location within walking distance to everything. 1. The water pressure in the shower was great but the temperature was all over the place. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and kept moving when I’d sit on it or climb in as it was on wheels. 2. The air con was really noisey so couldn’t leave it in overnight despite being really stuffy and hot in the room. 3. The walls were super thin so all night we could hear the massive group of guys (must have been like 20+ of them that came in on two coaches on either a bucks do or maybe a sports team trip) talking and laughing loudly the entire night so we barely slept. 4. At both check in and check out the reception was unmanned so had to call someone to come out to be checked in. As room was paid in advance I just put the door key in the key box at the end rather than wait again.

Mii (9/5): Long weekend stay - We stayed here over the long weekend, and the pool was definitely the highlight of our stay. Although one of the chairs was broken, the manager quickly replaced it with another, which we appreciated. The room facilities were basic but clean and had everything we needed for a short stay in Yarrawonga. The location is great—close to all the local shops and within walking distance. The manager was friendly and made sure our stay was pleasant, and we also met a few friendly people staying nearby. Thank you, and we look forward to staying again in the near future. N/A
