• CORINNA (10/5): Ocean sands perfection - Ocean Sands is located in a fantastic location at one end of Tedder Ave. Our apartment had views of the river and glimpses of the ocean. It is an easy stroll to both river and beach. Perfect for watching all the boating activities on the water and sunset over the hills. Enjoyed everything about our hotel stay

• Amjad (7/5): The property was spacious with comfortable furniture and good air conditioning, but it’s quite old, with outdated bathro - Spacious place with comfortable furniture, and air conditioning in the lounge and main bedroom, which was really comfortable during the hot weather. The property is quite old, and the bathroom fittings are outdated. For example, the taps don’t have automatic mixer, there are separate hot and cold taps that need to be manually mixed, which makes it really hard for kids to use. The bathrooms also don’t have exhaust fans, so smells end up coming through into the lounge room after someone uses the toilet.

Large balcony, family enjoyed the pools and spa handy walk to beach and cafes. It was a lovely 3 nights, management and other occupants friendly a great place. Didn’t want to leave and hope to get back there. Nil

• Scott (9/5): Amazing Family Holiday - The location and amazing view of the Broadwater from the unit was one of the best that we have stayed in. We will definitely stay here again. Well located for all you need including an easy walk to the yacht club, surf club and the light rail.The unit was comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. Staff were friendly and helpful. The BBQ areas were also well equipped and well maintained to allow for self catering. Overall a great place to stay. The apartment whilst comfortable was slightly dated and did not entirely reflect the pictures advertised for a deluxe apartment which was a little disappointing.

• Paula (5/5): Ocean Sands is a great location to Tedder Avenue, which we enjoyed. The apartment is very spacious. - The apartment is large and spacious. Having 2 full bathrooms was great. For what we paid for 8 nights and convenience it would have been nice to have more than 1 dishwasher puck, some dish detergent and hand soap in the kitchen. 1 roll of toilet paper for 8 nights was also silly. These items don't cost a lot, and just make the experience better. To go out and buy all these items for just a few nights when travelling isn't reasonable. Don't expect a water or marina view, we didn't have much. There is a lot of construction in the area, so we never got to use the deck or leave doors open as it was just too noisy. Air conditioning wasn't working our first night which was frustrating, but this did get fixed later.

Third bedroom is behind plantation shutters that didn’t function well with wheelie beds. Worked for our teenagers but couldn’t operate tv once kids in bed. Steam room not working. Tennis court equipment hire fee off putting.

• Jemma (8/5): Quiet, spacious. - The views were beautiful and the beds very comfy. Lots of room for the whole family. The only negative thing I had to say was the hot water ran out each day when we all tried to have a shower.

For what it cost I expected better quality renovation for rooms, nice body wash instead of soap, better showers, no face washers were provided, and the buildings facilities were rather limited.

• Brian (8/5): Great location - Great location next to restaurants on Tedder. Nice indoor pool area for swimming. Big apartment. Communication could be better. I was advised to pop into reception for check-in and replied that I "will be there around 4.30pm. Is the reception open 24hours?". My message remains unanswered. My flight was delayed and got there at 5.20pm, expecting reception to still be open, but they were closing at that time, and the receptionist told me he had been waiting for me!
• Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Such a spacious apartment with everything we needed, pool was wonderful and the soundproofing meant we did not hear other guest. The view from the balcony was lovely and such an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. There was no scrub brush or spray n wipe in the kitchen

Super close proximity to the beach, shops, cafes/restaurants and only a 5-20min drive to get to all other locations and activities we wanted to do. Having parking included made life so much easier. The pool and BBQ facilities were fantastic! While the apartment was tidy and clean, there was some room for improvement with the kitchen utensils and crockery. One of the quilt covers also had some old stains on it. It would have been good to have been provided a broom or vacuum to help us keep the place clean during our week stay too.

The beds are comfortable, the shower heads and the bath tub is amazing, the location is perfect, easy to access to trams, not to far from the beach, amazing array of restaurants close by. Highly recommend this property. The bare minimum starter pack. We stayed for 5 days but had 1 dishwasher tab. Would be good to have a dishwasher tab per day. Had to go buy a whole pack for the 5 days.

• Nicole (8/5): Very good - The apartment was beautifully appointed and immaculately clean, and the facilities were great (pools, tennis court etc). It's in a good location with a lovely sea view. The apartment is really spacious and was perfect in terms of size for our group of 3 adults & 2 kids. The staff at the front desk were really friendly and helpful. The second bedroom was directly off the open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining, only separated by lightweight louvre doors, so this room was very noisy. There was also construction going on just over the road which started early in the morning, and there was hammering / building work in a nearby apartment which was also noisy, so all this really disrupted our sleep.
