Had everything we needed during our one night stayâŚeven a bag of breakfast items provided on check-in! Friendly town - we grabbed a beer in The Imperial Hotel where a bloke came over to hand us the complimentary raffle tickets we left on the bar ($4,000 prize), and then cocktail in happy hour at The Royal Hotel which was recommended by cheery bar staff. Overall a great experience in Coonabarabran. Highly recommend Donna The Astronomer stargazing tour. Nothing to note

- Mandi (10/5): Excellent and will stay again. - The room was excellent, I loved the little breakfast bag you received on check-in, it had fruit, juice, cereal and milk. The receptionist was really lovely and later I met one of the owners and she was also lovely and as I was travelling alone had said if there was anything I need to just ask which I thought was so nice. They also have an Indian restaurant attached and I wasnât planning on buying Dinner but couldnât resist, it was absolutely amazing. There is also a great Chinese across the road. Thankyou so much for an amazing experience and I will definitely stay again. I have stayed at a few different places in Coonabarabran and this one ticks all my boxes.

- Samantha (9/5): Our go-to in Coona! - They've had a renovation - rooms are fresh and clean. Bathrooms are dated but completely fine and functioning. Excellent showers! Comfy bed. Great location for what we needed. Staff are super friendly too!
- Chris (7/5): Decent option in Coona - Good option in Coonabarabran which is only a few blocks away from the main street (maybe about a 5-10 minute walk) - it's pretty easy to find (right across the road from the information centre) and was nice and quiet at night. Had everything I needed and, while this is an older motel which could do with an upgrade, it provided for a comfortable and satisfying stay. I don't think the onsite restaurant is a going concern anymore, but there are some options nearby - including a decent Chinese restaurant diagonally across the road. You also receive a breakfast pack for one morning when you check in, which was a nice touch. I came away from my stay scratching a bit, so it's possible they might want to look into some pest control at some stage.
